Hildenborough embankment scheme

This video shows how the Environment Agency's Hildenborough embankment scheme will work.
Once completed, the new embankment, pumping station, kiosk and flood defence wall will reduce the risk of flooding to over 200 homes in Hildenborough.
The scheme has been designed to work in combination with the Leigh Flood Storage Area. Together, the 2 schemes will reduce the risk of flooding for over 1,400 homes in Hildenborough and Tonbridge, as well as benefitting communities further downstream.
