It is a fact Georgia played the toughest schedule but who really knows how good Texas is. Texas had one of the weakest SEC schedules this year...with so many teams in the Big Ten and SEC now you will see seasons where the best don't play the best. With that said how is it ND's fault they scheduled FSU and USC who were BOTH pre-season Top 10 Teams plus Texas A&M and let's not forget Miami backed out of a game that ND filled up with Army. No one predicted the quick fall of FSU and USC. ND does not beat the 2022 or 2023 UGA team but they have their best chance in a long time to be competitive with the SEC's elite. I would rather play a Kirby Smart team in Round 2 instead of the Final Championship Game. ND will have to play mistake free and force a turnover or two to play with a short field to win. ND does create turnovers and they have a Top 10 Running Game so anything is possible. I am not a ND that guarantees wins
Norte Dame schedule was cake walk next to Georgia! They have never beat Georgia “ EVER” and it won’t happen with Gunner, the dawgs will play better with Gunner
@@shaymicah4194 The 2.5 point line comes from Vegas. I’m not sure if anybody really knows what goes into ESPN’s football power index, but ESPN’s FPI has had ND ranked pretty high most of the year. 🤷🏻
@@johntucker5994 THANK YOU! You (unlike shaymicah4194) understand my point. It’s a total contradiction for ESPN to show Team A being favored by Vegas, but Team B has a 54% probability to win…??? Has anyone at ESPN ever done an analysis when “FPI” contradicts Vegas odds which is more accurate? I knew people who made the sports book odds for several Vegas casinos. The analytics is very meticulous. They focus on making the points spread as enticing as possible so there is an equal amount of bets on both sides. They make their $$$ on the “juice” from the losing bets. What accountability does ESPN’s “FPI” have? None. If anything, their “FPI” loses credibility when it contradicts the Vegas odds.
First off ND had a home playoff win last week the home field played a big part . This game is on the road that will play as big factor. Also ND hasn't been battled tested like Ga. And Ga gets jacked up for big games especially playoff games. So their d will definitely eat nd run game up. And the offense will do better under Gunner cause he gives them options
By the numbers, ND is 28th in scoring, 4th in passing defense, 8th in Total defense, 3rd in points allowed, ppg 39.8, yards per game 419.8, Net Efficiency stat is ranked #1, Georgia is 9th with Beck. And ND beats Georgia in FPI. And having your backup QB start in the Quarterfinals against this ND defense is problematic. If you dont see that you are NOT being honest with yourselves
Injuries- Georgia is playing without their QB and 2 Top RB's. But they have Kirby Smart. And elite pass rushers. When was the last time ND beat a Top 5 team? And who is Marcus Freeman vs. Kirby Smart? Any other team (besides Texas) that was without their top QB- would lose. Maybe Andy and Ari are right- it's ND's turn this year. Just remember UGA is battle tested (Toughest schedule this year) with road losses vs. Ole MS and Bama. My money is on the Dawgs - literally.
Wounded uga is a dangerous uga . But I’m glad at least someone isn’t afraid to pick against uga , seems like the media cares about being right and is afraid of going against the grain😂
Notre Dame's injury bug this year was absolutely crazy. BMO (all-American, 1st round corner) goes down, gets replaced by a true freshman who is balling. They lose both of their starting edge rushers by game 3, they lose KVA, who was the linebacker with the 3rd most snaps on their team and played crucial pass rush downs, and they lost lose Howard Cross for about a month. This isn't even counting two other corners who got injured and announced transfer early. The question all year has been- when does the back break with defensive injuries. To be honest, I don't think losing Mills does it. I trust that Rubio and Donny Hinish will be able to keep the line serviceable. I see this being a great game on both sides, and I'm taking Nd 27-20
Granted, Georgia had the toughest schedule this year. And despite a couple of losses, I think they did handle their business well. And yes, ND's schedule turned out to be weaker than expected with Miami (FL) withdrawing from a scheduled matchup and FSU having an unforeseeably bad team this year. But ND has played 5 top 25 teams at the time of the game in 2024 and won all of those games, mostly by large margins. Yes, Georgia will be the toughest opponent ND will face. I think it is likely Georgia wins, but ND will battle and hold its own. And there is a decent chance that ND wins. I think you should give up the weak schedule narrative. The Irish pass the eye test and did what they had to do to make the playoffs. ND is better than Alabama this year, and Alabama beat Georgia. Consider that and maybe respect your opponent. Hubris leads to getting bit in the ass.
Not one of them mentioned coaching staffs. UGA staff with so much big game experience and are very good at in game coaching and management. The edge goes to UGA there
ND might be deep, but they don’t have Georgias depth. Nor are they ready for the size, speed and physicality they are about to meet when they play UGA. Kirby is about to have the dawgs fired up, Dawgs 31-10
@jamesmarkham1887 You guys ALWAYS FUCKIN say this SAME tired ass line. Yet each time We've played yall, yall barely beat us. 😆 Like what drug are you on?
Tbh I was more scared of Notre dame before I watched them play Indiana. Compared to the teams I’ve seen GA play throughout the season, their O line and D line looked slow / lethargic. My best guess is GA by 10 ish Edit: except for that guy Love. I know he isn’t a lineman, but that dude was basically teleporting he was so fast. Edit again: before anyone takes this the wrong way. I am not saying the ND guys are slow, but just not fast compared to some of the teams GA has played thus far
Gonna bookmark this video and come back to it later on. UGA will dominate ND on both lines of scrimmage. Jalon Walker will be the best player on the field yet again and give Riley nightmares.
At 6:23 dude on the right has a come Jesus moment 😂 You can see he regrets screaming how great Notre Dame is and how they’re going to win 😂😂😂. Notre Dame is about to get Molly wopped!
31-21 UGA, Go Dawgs!!! Been through the highs and the lows. By the way, Georgia found its quarterback while playing in the SEC Championship! A game that Notre Dame STILL doesn’t have to play! College football should be ashamed for not having a ND in a conference that has to play a championship. Good possibility that they would have even more injuries…. But they are a good team, they just ain’t Georgia
Turnovers will be pivotal in this game. Is Georgia able to win the turnover battle when you know objectively ND will be turning over gunner Stockton at least once
Let’s be consistent at least. If Ga isn’t elite right now, which is likely, then don’t act like ND beat royalty. On the other hand, if Ga is so overrated, don’t act like they’re elite if ND loses
Bro on the right is going to get absolutely DESTROYED by comments after this game💯 This is the same 💩 people were saying before GA dismantled Michigan in the Orange bowl…..y’all just never learn🤦♂️
Dawgs backfield and offensive line are finally fully healthy and ready to go. Listen we know notre dame has around a top 10 roster (still a bit of a gap with what the dawgs have). Sure Notre dame is capably of winning, but I don’t understand the confidence of betting against uga (especially against a notre dame team that’s strength is also at the line of scrimmage and not exactly explosive). Certainly this will be a new look and offense with Stockton, but I’m guessing the sharp money is going to bet on the dawgs and that line is going to grow
To Beck's defense, the receivers dropped like 3 or 4 really good passes that could've kick started the offense in the 1st half...but salute to Gunner for holding it down in the 2nd half. Now to the guy on the right side of the screen...please take a look at ND schedule, you mean to tell me UGA wouldn't run the table and look impressive against those opponents? And I know Indiana was good and all...but its Indiana. You're talking about completely different athletes when comparing thier roster to UGA's. Don't get me wrong, ND is a good team but which one of their opponents rosters come close to what they'll see on the 1st?? UGA is battle tested... just look at that schedule. The only question I have in this game is Gunner. If he plays well, UGA wins by double digits.
I reset my expectations with this Georgia team after the Ole Miss loss. I'm cautiously optimistic about our chances in Nola, we have more Talent then Notre Dame. But if we get knocked out, I'm happy with the SEC title this year
And honestly I don't think anyone from George's worried at all about the Notre Dame QB Gunner was a much higher recruit that's been playing against our ones for 2 years

@nightlord40k76 Or the other way around. 🤔 ND has faced Georgia in 2017 and 2019 when Georgia went to Rose Bowl and the Natty. Yet both times yall only won by 1 point and 6 points. Yet this year, with a backup QB and ND playing at an Elite defense level...I'm suppose to believe Georgia will Dog Walk us? SEC delusion is real

Folks who don’t follow UGA on a regular basis ALWAYS gets embarrassed. Kirby will have his guys ready and will beat ND. There is a reason why he’s the highest paid coach in the SEC. The Dawgs will man-handle and out physical the Irish. As far as Gunner, he is a baller.
It took 3 minutes and 52 seconds for these guys to lose all credibility 1) to say that notre dame has a roster that is as talented as Georgias is laughable 2) This notre dame team lost to northern Illinois you give this ND team Georgias schedule and they are 8-4 at the very best 3) saying Georgia has been over estimated is also a joke people have been down on Georgia since the Kentucky game
Been an ND fan all my life - I think we have recency bias here with NDs win last week against IU. ND lost to NIU this year and lost to Marshall at home under Marcus freeman’s tenure
The uga QB situation is a big deal, but weirdly Stockton might be a better fit for the personnel on offense for UGA. This uga team has struggled to consistently run the ball, but in the second half of the second half championship, the run game came alive, some of which due to Stockton’s effect on backside pursuit and blocks getting set up better. Stockton isn’t an elusive fast runner but a tougher ball carrier type runner.

These two clearly don’t know what they’re talking about. All season long, people have been doubting the UGA Bulldogs, pointing to the quarterback struggles, his interceptions, the loss to Alabama, the setback against Ole Miss, and the close call against Kentucky. Again Georgia’s SOS was number 1 in the entire NCAA. I’m not saying this is a cake walk for Georgia but ND hasn’t played a caliber of team like Georgia. It’s so hard to find out if ND is legit or not because they refuse to join a conference. Which in my opinion should disqualify them from the playoffs.
We’ll find out on New Year’s Day if they really are that good but despite being 1.5 favorites they have everything stacked against them.
UGA 35-17
About right.
Wouldn’t even surprise me if that was the score
It's gonna be the other way around 35 to 20 notre dame
Georgia has NEVER blown out Notre Dame. SEC delusion
Notre Dame is about to have a first.
First time all season they’ve played an actual powerhouse football team. Make of that what you will…
When UGA dominates ND i want to watch the dude on the right eat his words
GA didn’t dominate GT and ND did. ND by 31pts over GA

Norte Dame schedule was cake walk next to Georgia! They have never beat Georgia “ EVER” and it won’t happen with Gunner, the dawgs will play better with Gunner
ESPN shows UGA a -2.5 favorite, YET their “FPI” has Notre Dame has a 54% win probability.
Someone explain that…???
You have to factor in ALL stats. Not just the ones you like about Georgia😂
@@stephenholbrook4391 I don’t think anybody pays much attention to ESPN’s FPI except early in the season. Should be a good game.
Ok, one teams proven through being tested. The other, not at all.
You're getting called an idiot next week..
Nailed it. Better chance Stockton looks like Connor Weigman (12 of 30 for 100 yds). This is Ole Miss redux for Georgia.
ND had a cupcake schedule. UGA had the toughest schedule in college football. I expect a lowe scoring game. With the Dawgs on top.
They are missing their 3rd and 4th string RBs that haven’t really played all season long… they have both top RBs for this game
Wounded uga is a dangerous uga . But I’m glad at least someone isn’t afraid to pick against uga , seems like the media cares about being right and is afraid of going against the grain😂
I think the common theme in all these comment sections is that the sec still actually believes they’re the best conference in the country.
We know we are the best conference!
Let's Go Dawgs!!
Stockton plays against the Best Defense in college football.........everyday. At practice.
The best defense? Really?
Kick us when we're down..!!
Get a real damn schedule and then let's talk..
Go Dawgz..
Georgia has had one of the easiest schedules the past 5 years
ND fans can’t talk when ND doesn’t have a hard schedule ever and automatically get into the playoffs and get the brakes beat off them
@ this is the first year in like 5 where Georgia had a relatively hard schedule and now they act like it happens often
ND consistently plays multiple schools. They play SEC teams. BIG 10 Teams, ACC teams...its not their fault they fell off.
Not one of them mentioned coaching staffs. UGA staff with so much big game experience and are very good at in game coaching and management. The edge goes to UGA there
This might be the worst video I’ve seen in so long. It’s amazing this pays y’all’s bills
Hahahaha Notre Dame hasn't played anyone
What pack of cards were they opening?
Let’s come back to this in a few days 😂😂😂
They havent played anyone. 😔 just saying.
Man the Georgia fans are becoming very irritating with the "woe is me no one believes in us"bs man you've won 2 nattys good grief man
ND might be deep, but they don’t have Georgias depth.
We will see but I do not think this will age well
Tbh I was more scared of Notre dame before I watched them play Indiana. Compared to the teams I’ve seen GA play throughout the season, their O line and D line looked slow / lethargic. My best guess is GA by 10 ish
Edit: except for that guy Love. I know he isn’t a lineman, but that dude was basically teleporting he was so fast.
Edit again: before anyone takes this the wrong way. I am not saying the ND guys are slow, but just not fast compared to some of the teams GA has played thus far
Did this man just say people have underestimated Notre Dame? Tf?
Texas has ran on everybody they played except GA. Both games. ND will also have to beat GA passing.
ND is about to get smashed 😂😂😂 Georgias Dline will be up in Notre Dames backfield the entire game.
Carson Beck is going to be recovering for a year. If he stays in college he won’t be ready to play til the start of the 26 season
Ari always has been a clown. He picks wrong more than he picks right
Bro on the right is going to get absolutely DESTROYED by comments after this game💯 This is the same 💩 people were saying before GA dismantled Michigan in the Orange bowl…..y’all just never learn🤦♂️
Didn't yall pick Texas to win both times??
Best ND team since the 90s. Way better than 2012 and 2020. Worst UGA team since 2016
Dawgs backfield and offensive line are finally fully healthy and ready to go.
But if we get knocked out, I'm happy with the SEC title this year
And honestly I don't think anyone from George's worried at all about the Notre Dame QB Gunner was a much higher recruit that's been playing against our ones for 2 years
@@briandeaton36 Lane Kiffin built his 2024 squad to beat Georgia. The Dawgs were tired, beat up , and the promise of an expanded playoff bracket rendered that game as a throwaway game for the Dawgs. Freaking hilarious that the “experts” keep picking against UGA. Love it. 27-17 UGA.

Is ND good? I have no idea. They've played nobody all year. Their schedule was mostly G5 teams and bad teams. What's their win that sets them off so highly? Texas 8-4? USC? ND's schedule ended up pretty easy. Can we stop buffing them until they actually win something?

Very talented team but really hasn’t played a team on the same talent level as UGA (A&M is not on that level).
But less we forget Kirby smart brought a true freshman QB on the road for his first start and beat ND in South Bend.
At A&M is a really good win it’s so hard to win on the road in the SEC
But A&M is the 7th best team in the SEC

True, but we also haven’t seen what the back up for Georgia can do. He didn’t do much against Texas so I will be very curious to see how it fairs out
These two clearly don’t know what they’re talking about. All season long, people have been doubting the UGA Bulldogs, pointing to the quarterback struggles, his interceptions, the loss to Alabama, the setback against Ole Miss, and the close call against Kentucky. Not to mention the issues with the wide receiver corps. The list goes on. But one thing you can’t underestimate is Kirby Smart. That became crystal clear after the Georgia Tech game. The guy on the right is completely out of his depth. I’ll come back to this later, hopefully to watch him eat his words.
