I can contest to the fact that yeah if you bypass the 5665 error code and/or if you go about it in other ways that don't meet amazon's requirements for brand approval it does cause a headache. And that's putting it lightly. It's destroyed my brand, ability to sell and experience with amazon fba because I was taught really poor methods by some crappy course I purchased 2 years ago. So, great video, wish I had seen this back then!

Thanks man! In this situation Amazon wants you to list without a brand....if you a really wanting to brand the listing off the bat, I suggest paying the manufacturer or someone else to make you 1 fully branding piece of packaging for approval.

My question is that how we will know before we make real products with real branding on it that they will allow it. ANY one on this

You can do generic products, but you will have to list it as generic which can hurt you if you are trying to scale and brand. If you want to list a product under a brand name, you will need custom packaging with your brand name to send them.
One thing that pops out to me is a scenario where after marketing your brand (without a trademark and only brand approval) someone decides to trademark it and get you kicked off the platform for stealing their brand (even though you starting selling first). How would we reduce the risk of something like this happening?

I'm creating a new listing but I'm having an issue with the brand approval since there is not permanently affixed logo on it. The products are already at Amazon. I tried using a "generic" as a brand name and then run into an issue where it states that there is no UPC associated with my product. If you could make a video answering this, that would be awesome! how would you have a letter with your brand name and address on? Authorising you can list a product? As I have not registered this brand under an address.

I believe they do want a photo of the product itself showing the brand on it, but could be other reasons as well they are rejecting it...hard to tell w/o knowing more :/

just change your brand name if that happens, also apply for Trademark once you have enough money.

Honestly probably just depends on the staff member you get that day, you are in the gray area for sure.
Also, when we take photos to send Amazon, the package should include barcode in it (i.e., UPC)?

Hi Camron, I tried to do Brand Registry like 10 times and I got rejected everytime. I do have trademark in Canada and I am providing them the sample of my packaging. Do they require real life product picture from supplier before accepting it?
I believe they do want a photo of the product itself showing the brand on it, but could be other reasons as well they are rejecting it...hard to tell w/o knowing more :/
@@CamronJames thank you for a reply back. They only talk about image so I guess they need a real life picture packaging because I am only showing them packaging that I got from my designer...:/

Hello I just got approved and tried uploading a product but it is telling me about brand registration I dont understand fully I am in canada is it a case I have to apply for a trademark else where and then go back to brand registry on amazon ?? can u please help I would like to just purchase my product and send to amazon warehouse and sell
