I have just tried the steps until I reached the stage where Amazon UK asks you to ‘Provide at least one image of your product or packaging that clearly shows your brand's name, logo or other distinguishing mark permanently affixed to the product’ How do you get around this if you do not have an existing product as you don’t want to get the product manufactured first with all packaging and bring it to UK and then Amazon doesn’t approve something or has issue? You must refer to your serial number in all communications about your application." There was an 8 digit number. The one I blanked out here. I know it costs more but since it's my first time I just wanted to do it this way. Is there an instance where you can put your brand in multiple categories? I am still a little confused and am not sure about which class to put my brand in as I would like to broaden categories with the same brand. Can you choose one category at registration and then add another at a later date?
sorry to sound dumb, but is branding only your own manufactuerd and designed product or can you use your brand to sell anything . Meaning can I protect a listing for a product that I buy and sell. I have spent hours editing photos and text to make an attractive listing only to lose the buy box. the other party is using my work to promote his sales just because he undercut me . Can you apply for a brand registry on a product you buy from Walmart? For example a basket you buy for $5 and sell on amazon for $20. Then if it sells well you can get a manufacturer and create a private label?

I temporarily switched to Individual Account since I run out of inventory and my listing got hijacked, until I apply for Brand Registry. I have the serial number for my brand name from the USPTO, but I need the Merchant Token to apply for the Brand Registry. I didn't want to re-order before I apply for Brand Registry and wanted to avoid paying the monthly $39.99 fee until my Brand Registry is approved from Amazon. So it's kind of a catch 22. You can get as many related classes as you want, just cost extra for each one. Would have to ask the IP lawyer about the different classes!

That product is already branded, you would have to get permission from that brand. Your own brand, yes.
