  • A new scientific breakthrough called the "Orion" may eventually allow many blind people to see. Using a camera attached to a pair of sunglasses, Orion captures images a person would see and sends it through a handheld device to an implant that’s been surgically inserted into the visual part of the brain. The implant then turns those images into dots of light that the patient can see. Jonathan Vigliotti reports on one patient who tested the technology.

@@tommyb4321 *this is an excerpt from an article I found* "There is no such thing as a whole-eye transplant. The optic nerve, which goes directly to the brain, cannot be transplanted; and this nerve is damaged for many people who are blind. The eye transplant would not work without also transplanting the optic nerve.
In some cases the eye is not even the problem. The problem is actually inside the brain, where images are interpreted. Most people cannot comprehend this kind of explanation." *Also, apparently, what I heard about there being eye transplants Is false, an eye transplant is actually a cornea transplant at least for now*

Ganda Gandara I’m not familiar with these programs specifically but I believe you are referring to the Dobelle system. Dr. Dobelle was American but would send his patients to Portugal to skirt FDA regulations. Dr. Dobelle made contributions to the field of artificial vision, as well as other teams working in other labs at the same time. Science is meant to be accumulated and built upon. Dobelle’s lab closed after his death in 2004 though. As far as the Argus system, what I can say is that the Argus I -the predecessor of the current Argus II- went into clinical testing in 2002, 17 years ago, and before anything is ever introduced to a patient there are years of extensive research, development, and testing to be done. The Argus system itself is well over 20+ years in the making ✌🏽

WHEN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST RETURNS...EVERY EYE WILL SEE HIM!
"...To Him who loves us and released us from our sins, by His blood - and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father - to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. Behold, He Is Coming With The Clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen." (Revelation 1:5 NASB)

Get out of here with that . Our “savior” is watching while millions suffer and die. All in the name of what destiny? Your “lord” is just sitting back watching his creations rot in turmoil.
