Thank you So much for this- I am a baptized Catholic but will definitely use this info- as I need a refresher course. (Please pray for my son who was baptized but away from the church (Russ). Praying daily rosary for you and your family!
Thank you for this informative video. It would be a very inspiring if you did a series on fasting - one in which you provided a daily motivational video to keep us going. Thank you again for the excellent video 😊
I was raised Baptist Christian, but I became an atheist when I became a teenager. I’m 21 now and looking at becoming a Catholic. Thank you for making such an informative video!
*How TO Become Roman Catholic in 5 Steps:* 1) Ignore the NT written by the Original Catholic Church (just follow what Rome's catechism says) 2) Believe the added traditions of religious leaders these past 2000 yrs even tho they contradict the NT 3). Believe that your SPIRITUAL salvation is NOT because of Jesus, but because of PHYSICAL works you do 4). Openly DENY that Jesus' shed blood PURIFIED you (oops, 2Peter 2:1-3, 1Corinth 6:11) 5) Venerate, make statues, see visions, and give all the glorious attributes that belong to GOD/Messiah ALONE (sinless, immaculately conceived, mediator, leader to Christ, redeemer, crusher of Satan, giver of grace, etc) to a mere female creature (Mary).
If you do become a catholic, you guarantee yourself eternal damnation. 330,000 little boys in France were raped by 3,000 catholic pedophile priests, and it barely made the news, because people EXPECT that from catholics. Jesus said child rape was UNFORGIVABLE (Matt 18:6-14), and everyone who supported it will get eternal damnation. That means every single catholic.
I received private instruction from a good NO Priest who does Latin Mass on Saturday mornings, for around 6 months. I was already self studying for a couple of years. I had my first confession, confirmation and first communion and became a Catholic on 5/13/20. Praise be to God.
65 years ago I became Catholic. NEVER WOULD I deny the faith. I've committed my share of sins but at 77, ive been doing what I can to help God tolerate me better. My 4 children have made it to adulthood with a single spouse and none looking for happiness elsewhere . I thank God for that. Now if they would come back to the faith I gave them, I can stop punishing myself. 😣
My wife and I just converted after 30+ years of being Evangelical. The Church has always has issues. The first was Peter denying Christ 3 times. Ignore the nonsense and human failures. Focus on Christ. Great guidance Dr. Marshall.
I’m Protestant and have been feeling a pull to Catholicism. I started diving into everything I can but it’s so overwhelming. This helped so much. Thank you ❤
"My Catholic Faith" saved me from despair! I thought I was damned. I found an old edition by some miracle. It answered my questions, alleviated my fears and anxieties. Of course, prayer helped me discover it in some old bookstore. BTW, no one is Catholic without the Pope, whether this pope is flawed or sinful. Pray and God will lead you to the right books, the right guides. Prayer alone makes a better person. Fasting increases our self-control, so that we can resist temptations. A priest can be a spiritual guide. And if you don't believe in Mary, you're missing out as a Catholic. Catholics differ from other Christians also by belief in Tradition or faith by word of mouth. And also, this faith demands that we love our enemies.
@James DeLap Valium is addictive, damaging and no longer prescribed because its a sticking plaster that doesnt heal us. God is precribed because he's a friend. He's adictive because he's a great friend who doesnt hurt us. He heals those wounds physical, spiritual and mental
I never realised how wonderful the Catholic church is until I attended Mass in France. I have been on the edge but after mass today in a little french church I am in. ❤
I just emailed my priest (father Ken) yesterday and asked him about RCIA. I expected him to list when the classes were, where they were, and give me a class schedule like a college professor. I just got a reply at 9:27 this morning and instead of anything I expected…this is what he wrote: he said “Good morning Andrew, please give me a call after Easter and we will set up a date to meet. I am so pleased that you are interested in the Catholic faith. Blessings. Father Ken.” I’m really looking forward to this meeting
im going through the same thing (was raised Anglican), i emailed my local priest asking about RCIA and he replied the same day with a very warm message asking me to phone him. Our call was great and i am attending my first mass on saturday (the priest advised coming to a mass with less people for my first one as i told him i get nervous meeting new people) im super excited and also nervous but the Lord put it in my heart that this is where He wants me , and i put all my trust in Him that everything will work out. I said a prayer for both of us Andrew , Godspeed and may the peace of our Lord be with you.
I was raise a Catholic but my mother left the church at 11 y.o. I have forgotten almost everything in the traditions of the Catholic Church. I’m returning at 29 y.o and this video helped guide me on the right track.
It's the wrong track to become a catholic. You become a catholic, you guarantee yourself eternal damnation.
Fact Check * KJV Bible * The Church of Satan- Catholicism * Start Studying the Written WORD of GOD Christ Jesus in Print. * Revelation 12 : 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old Serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth (LIES) to the Whole Wide World : he was cast out into the earth and his angels (Demons ) were cast out with him. * 2Corinthians 4 : 4 Satan is god of This World! - Fact * Matthew 22 : 14 For many are Called But FEW are Chosen . * Wake - Up!
I’m Church of England but Catholic schooled. At 65 Catholicism is like a home coming. I’m glad we get an exorcism. I have demon that wants me to jump; I tell it to get lost and I stay away from balconies. It hates the Rosary. And doesn’t say a word for days if I go to mass. The fasting will be easy for me. Being childlike before God - no problem, never got to be older than 3. Guilt… I’m well versed in the art. Now… just have to get rid of my vast Hindu God collection. 😬
Im attending my first mass on saturday (i get nervous meeting new people , my Priest advised me to attend the mass on saturday with less people) Im super excited to be starting my journey but also nervous (im a little awkward meeting new people - i have a diagnosis of aspergers) I was raised Anglican but fell away and became an atheist in my adult life. I came to faith 2 years ago and as someone with a love of history i started reading anything i could on the early church , i read writings of the saints and i encountered things that didnt fit my protestant understanding , and so i tested the protestant doctrines i was taught and found them lacking in many regards (although the church i attended had many good Christ loving faithful people) i sincerely believe that Catholicism has the fullness of the faith , i still have questions but i know in my heart God wants me there.
I'm 48 years old and it's become obvious to me that I've become completely disordered and my desires and my faculties and that there's no way I can do anything to make myself right. For the past few months, I've been reading about Catholicism, watching UA-cam videos and praying the Rosary and other prayers in an effort to draw closer to God and to return to the Catholic Church. I've still got such a long, long way to go. It's amazing how bad habits and vices can become chains making this process so much more difficult. I pray for faith in God and I pray that with His grace and the intercession of the Blessed Mother, I can eventually find myself in a state of God's grace. I ask anyone reading this to please pray for me.
Thank you so much for this video… I’m an 18 y/o from England and raised Anglican… but after research I have felt completely drawn to the Catholic Church… this is by far the most helpful video I have found. Thank you good Sir
Thank you I will be contacting a Priest to receive Private instruction to enter the church soon I have been studying Catholicism for more then 8 years now I think I’m ready to join the One true church .
I was a 15 year old Anglican and I realized that my core beliefs aligned more with Catholicism. Thank you so much for sharing and allowing me to make a much more supported change. 🙏
Dr Taylor really terrific video ! Not just for those who want to be Catholic also for Catholics like myself that need to reminded of the fundamentals and to continue to live our Lives and so our part to have a good relationship with the Blessed Trinity and Our Blessed Mother.I commend you on sharing your faith via this channel I watch most of the video's here and dont get much out of the politics of the Church ,ie Pope Francis , Cardinals ect. Learning about the faith and practising and the topics I would encourage a bit like someone learning to play a musical instrument, for me personally it's about playing and practise. Thanks again and look forward to more videos
You should check out the New St Thomas Institute. It has more of this kind of stuff. I personally love all the different topics that Taylor does on his channel. Because of his explanation of what going on in the church, I’ve become a better Catholic and it’s helped me make sense of this mess. I will be Forever grateful to this man for being instrumental in my Traditional Catholic Faith!
My beloved is in this process so I really appreciate this video. I have shared with her. Thankyou for your no nonsense approach. The rest I leave up to Our Lord!!!🙏🕊️
Thank God I found this. You are completely 100% right about RCIA. In 2003 and again in 2012 I went through RCIA, each attempt was unsuccessful. I eventually joined a Presbyterian church and was baptized there. Recently I have been yearning for a deeper spiritual connection to God and found myself praying the rosary again like I used to 20 years ago. I think I still have a lot to do on this journey but I believe by the grace of God that He's calling me again to join the Catholic church. I will start doing some reading, more praying and more fasting.
I was raised Christian, went to a Christian church, and had a Christian family. I have always been interested in Catholicism and studying more about it made me really happy, the way they do things is so beautiful and I want to become one of them. Thanks you for this video I was a lot more educated
Spot on Dr. Marshall! You are a great Catholic in times where the Catholic Church is going through turbulent troubles. Thank you for all your contributions and spreading good messages.
This was great. My father was born in 1916. I was their ‘second family’. I was sent to Catholic schools ( same age as many of my nieces/nephews)throughout all the 1970’s- and early1980’s. My 5 older siblings 10-20 yrs before me. My catechesis was poor. After many yrs non practicing I returned. I tried but the modernist Catholicism was..... well you know this! Have still so much to learn but there is such beauty and sanity in the traditional started learning 3 yrs ago( traditional/TLM).I ordered any of these books I don’t have. Also Moved 6 mos ago after a burglary and am still local but closer to older siblings. My Catholic treasures from travels and pilgrimages to holy places are now in a ‘library’ I made in the new home so these books will be a necessary and perfect addition! Thanks so much! ❤️Please pray for my siblings return to the one true faith and being ‘part of the team’, My Dad carried his rosary on his person ALWAYS! Staying salty here!😊
Jane Plainjaned, "Catholic" is a procreation gift role of helpers of the family within the family, not a "having faith" need of union of family member identities. My progress was in "converting" to a family member role-identity as inseparable and qualitatively equal in keeping this in uncertainty of belief exercising an absolute power of authorisation of applications of ensuring procreation role gift and insuring union identities need of union after I came to believe that "Catholic" was a 'do-ing' procreation gift ensuring process and not an identity of 'be-ing' in need of insuring union progress. I had been groomed becoming myself complicit in this grooming by diseased "familyist" family persons of psychologically and or emotionally vulnerable family members for their families' tax-exemption and lower insurance cost economic advantages with an occult as hidden, incest connected as substitute mate, non-economic false status inducement of "higher vocation" of purported consecrated celibate marriage vowed to Christ in man to purported consecrated male female marriage vowed to God. This is an age-old practice of embezzlement of tax-exempt charity donations by helpers of the family within the family and fraud on need of union of identities of family members of valid and proper marriages as fallen for by St Paul in his "opinion" not given by God reported at 1Cor 7:25-34 that single consecrated celibate marriage vowed to Christ in man is superior as a calling to consecrated male female marriage vowed to God. The extreme tensions caused by this embezzlement and fraud were withstood on 10 June 2021 by Pope Francis in his exercise of an absolute power of simultaneous authorisations of: 1. procreation charity gift role of Vatican state citizens as helpers of the family within the family alleged embezzled by Cardinal Angelo Becciu and nine others, presently been heard in Pope Francis' Vatican state court, 2. identities of family members of valid and proper marriages in need of union insuring out at unacceptable risk of fraud by the Italian state citizens' representatives in the Italian Parliament "Zan" anti-homophobia bill, defeated in early November 2021 after a protest note to the Italian government against this bill authorised by Pope Francis.
I wish this video was around before my daughter went through Rcia. She is getting baptized and confirmed tomorrow at a Novus Ordo Mass: I’m still excited for her!! This is a great video!!!
This helped me so much. I am not Catholic but my mom and grandmother was raised Catholic. My son is 12 years old and I am considering getting him baptized Catholic and receive his Sacraments. I had a long beautiful conversation with Father John and he told me to really consider it, yet pray about it and let him know my decision. I am only a little worried because I had no idea about any exorcism.
@@majafleur9646 as I’ve studied more, Mr. Marshall has a perspective that’s different from a lot of the church, and he does make it sound harder than it is. Talk to your local parish. That’s your best resource. And there’s nothing wrong with RCIA. In fact, it has value in that it will help you develop much needed relationships in the parish.
This made me cry at the end when you said Jesus is the Good Shepherd and He has a plan to get us to heaven and our families - I am doing RCIA but thankfully I have been prompted already to read the Catechism and am reading “Confessions” I had an experience of contemplation at a Mass I have only been to Mass 3 times and I am crying every time it’s a bit embarrassing I can’t control my emotions after getting a blessing from the priest or listening to the choir singing - it’s the most beautiful experience in my whole life and I can’t believe I’m allowed to go along and be part of it while I do RCIA and before I am fully converted to the Catholic Faith
All books 1- Bible Douay-Rheims; 2 - Baltimore Catechism; 3 - My Catholic Faith; 4- The Catechism of the Council of Trent; 5 - Denzinger-Hunermann - Enchiridion
@@stainedglasszealot6231 Sorry if I didn't make myself clear but I see there's two different versions with different covers. One is The New Saint Joseph Baltimore Catechism and the other is The Third Council of Baltimore 1-4. Which is the one Dr. Taylor Marshall is talking about?
Thank you for this informative video. I'm a 63 year old man who was raised Lutheran, left that church, briefly attended a born again church in my late 20s . I basically stopped going to church since then. I did attend a Catholic mass once about 15 years ago and liked it. Anyway, I've been watching you and some other Catholic videos recently and am strongly feeling a pull to convert to Catholicism as the one true religion. I'm totally broke right now, but looking foward to eventually being able to purchase at least the recommended Bible and catechism. Thank you Dr. Marshall.
I can attest to having private one on one discussions with a priest when entering the Church. I was a well read baptist when I converted, so I was extremely helpful and at times fun to bounce ideas and comments off one another as he was teaching me. I had a fantastic Priest at the Catholic Newman Center at my college and had a great experience with it.
Traditional Catholics, do not imitate the modern way of saying "God bless" God bless WHO???. Say it the traditional way. May the Good Lord bless you. or May the Good Lord bless and keep you. May the Good Lord guide you and keep you.
@@johnnypierce3933 Adam and Eve broke off from what they were designed to do. Our job is now to get to that designated location; our human will perverse, deformed, and vile has brought us where we are. To reverse will take quite a lot and Christ "I came to do my father will" he showed us the way "take your cross and follow me" said Jesus my human will must diminish and disappear for it is an obstruction to get to him.
I started the other way round. I started praying the Rosary and because so many amazing things happened I decided to convert. Nothing logical about it because to me prayer is easy, it is my comfort my strength my refuge. I do not need to wade through books to feel faith. It is already in me, and it expresses itself through my life. I live in Italy, and will be talking to the parish priest about what has happened. Three miracles occurred and it was the power of Divine Grace that flowed through me and meditation on the mysteries.
Thank you so much for this. "My Catholic Faith" is fantastic. (I've read 3 pages and my life is genuinely changed.). I am transitioning to Catholicism. Tremendous fear because of my anti-Papist Protestant background but as an intellectual Catholicism makes the most sense. I think this is the year I find a mentor/guide, as you suggest. Thank you for your good work!
I'm very interested in converting to Catholicism. I've watched dozens of videos, and this one is hands down the best one I've seen. You explain everything so clearly. Thank you!
i was brought up Lutheran and I love that my parents brought me up around the Christian faith because it instilled in me how important it is to be a moral good Christian. As many do in my late teens up to my early 30's i became athiest because like you said many blame the failures of man corrupt the truth of the word of God. In my darkest hour God helped me find my way back and finding your channel has been a huge blessing. You should be proud of your dedication to your teachings. I cant explain how much I respect you. Ive always shared your views but ive never been exposed to a man that walks in the faith with such conviction, truth and teaches us. I watch every post and im currently converting to being Catholic. Know that your message makes a difference. I can only hope to be half the man that youve become. God bless you. 😇

I’m happy for you. Like Dr Taylor said there will be doubts and they often come from wounded resentful souls who don’t know what they’re talking about. Just pay close attention to Dr Taylor
This is so helpful for my journey into Catholicism. I’ve been searching for a religion that feels right for me and haven’t found one until now although I have respect for other religions. Catholicism has a sort of structure of stability and order I’ve always craved and when I contemplate all of the traditions, practices, and beliefs I find myself filled with a sense of peace and belonging and there is something beautiful about it as a whole. I’m at the beginning of my journey I’m just discovering and learning about it as much as I can prior so I can go into it fully committed. Although I’m noticing that there are several different types of Catholicism in my area which makes the decision a bit difficult.
Did RCIA at my traditional parish, and we legit had the same plan outline by Marshall! Baltimore Catechism, My Catholic Faith, The Compendium, Council of Trent, Peter Kreeft's Catholic Christianity, and the Pre-Vatican 2 Classic: Apologetics and Catholic Doctrine. Unfortunately, the pandemic prevented our reception on the Easter Vigil.
What an amazing and detailed guide and explanation. Thank you, Dr. Marshall. I became Catholic by undergoing the RCIA program in a very liberal parish and even though the people were wonderful and the sisters who ran the program were kind, the instruction was more like a liberal protestant congregation, than the RCC. However, I am currently in a traditional parish, The Oratory of St. Philip Neri ,and attend primarily the Tridentine (Latin) Mass. I LOVE being Catholic!
I'm always overjoyed to hear someone say they want to join the Catholic faith. I was born & raised in a very strong Catholic family, & educated in a Convent. I am honoured & privileged to be a Catholic & shall remain so all my life. It saddens me deeply that many are using transgressions in the Church as "excuses" to leave the Catholic faith. Well said Taylor Marshall, your channel is wonderful evangelization. I'm a recent subscriber & love listening to your weekly talks.
My family and I are scheduled to be baptized and confirmed on 30 June, after missing Easter Vigil due to China virus. I started RCIA "catechesis" in January 2019 and, yes, it was taught by lay parishioners (except the first four weeks when a catholic history professor taught early Church history. That was great!) Our RCIA classes often became confrontational between the older liberals teaching the classes and a few of us traditionally-minded converts, especially regarding Church tradition/teaching on salvation outside The Church and the death penalty. My takeaway, from what will have been 18 months as a catechumen, is left-leaning RCIA classes are great for making one favor Church tradition and the Latin Mass.
Thank you Dr Taylor this is one of your best episodes. I'm so glad I went through the traditional baptism process with 3 Scrutinies. U certainly sharpened my saw. Your teaching will also help me in my evangelisation journey. God bless you ❤
Independent baptist here, after a lot of thought, study and prayer. I’m converting to Catholicism I plan to visit my local parish this week and speak to a priest
I'm conflicted. A lot of what you've said I dont agree with but also a lot I DO agree. I was raised Baptist but have been lead to study Catholicism so I'm praying hard on this. Anyone else ever had this conflicting feelings???
Convert too!!! 4 years in rcia! Been Catholic 27 years. I was Methodist, but baptized Presbyterian as a wee one. I was communioned and confirmed Methodist. I graduated Southern Baptist seminary....then I met an Irish Monsignor!!!! He started my interest to convert!!!!
I'm a convert as well. The best decision I made in my life. The book I credit for my conversion more than any other, even the Catechism and the social and moral teaching of the Church (though those helped as well) was St John Henry Newman's Apologia Pro Vita Sua. Cardinal Newman detailed his journey of faith, the struggles he faced, how he overcame them, which helped convince me of the truth of Catholicism.
i am orthodox and i dont want to become catholic however i respect this christian channel for its truths and i believe that catholics and orthodoxs christians we need to support each other and help other christians like evangelicals find the right path and salvation
Thanks so much. My priest has asked me 5 times to instruct adults. I knew not to use RCIA program, so I used certain texts, i.e. Humanae Vitae, Janet Smith's book on it also, some JP11 encyclicals, etc, and various "being Catholic" books. I love your 5 steps - a very clear guide to entry. I doubt I will be asked again; our small church is over 60's ages with a Novus Ordo attitude priests.
Carlos Arias Guadiana thank you so much, I’ve always been Catholic, I love my faith deeply. What I really meant was that when I hear about the richness of our faith I feel so grateful that I wish to become Catholic over and over again and over again or forever and ever. May God bless you Carlos. 🙏🙏🙏
Joseph van Haren Thank you Dr Marchall for this video , it will be a great help to me as I have some family members showing interest in returning to the faith after a long time away from it . God Bless .
You sound very welcoming, sincere and believable. One part of me may want to re-explore and perhaps re-enter the Church. While growing up Catholic, I have a lot of anger against my Church upbringing as well as that against my years in Protestant churches.
Looking to become a catholic. A hardcore feeling came over me just before advent yr 2020 (I had no idea what that was). Seems like a calling to me due to the timing.
Thank you very much sir for this video because I have been wanting to convert into a Catholic but I don't know how but this is a great help. I will start with the Catholic Bible and stop reading my protestant Bible.
I know this is late, however, I’d like to ask if any of you if you can help me convert to Catholicism. I’m 17 right now and my family doesn’t know about this. And they’re by far mostly Protestant. Thank you in the meantime 😇🙏✝️
@@elijahyoung11 I'm new, as you can see, but I'd be happy to help you as much as I can. Ask anything you like and I'll do my best to help with an answer. I know what really helped me was starting to pray the Rosary. Have you been doing that? Have you talked to a priest about this?
My husband didn't know it, but he brought me into the church on our first date by saying he was Catholic. He passed away 6 years ago, and I began attending the Latin mass with my daughter and son-in-law. They were married just before the pandemic, so I moved in with them until the lockdown was released. I learned so much about the faith from them and others at church. Is it wrong to have protestant Bibles in your house? I don't read them, but one was my grandmother's, and the other was one I received from the minister in the third grade; he signed and dated it as well. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with "the rest of the class," as they say. My son-in-law recommended your channel to me, so I watch as much as I can. My vocal prayers I do through UA-cam because I sometimes have coughing fits due to COPD, and I don't want to mess up those prayers.
I would greatly appreciate to speak with you sometime. My life's journey has had GOD pulling at me the whole way so far and He keeps bringing me to turning points along the way.
I would also suggest a catholic homeschool curriculum ... I taught my middle schooler and I learned so much from the teachings of the Catholic church. We used Seton Catholic Homeschooling. We started off with Baltimore Catechism.
Thank you for this great video. I grew up Christian but converted to Buddhism as a teenager. I will always love Buddhism, the philosophy and teachings/Dharma of the Buddha have saved my life more than than once. However, this past Christmas I started reading the Bible, and all of a sudden I felt that the Holy Spirit was with me. Since then I have desired to re-commit myself to God and Jesus, but there are still so many concerns, including those you mentioned. I still believe that faith can be great outside the corrupt organizations of man. I don’t want ANY of myself, especially not my money, supporting child abuse. This is evil, and especially bad karma as well as sin! Although sin gets forgiven, karma does not, therefore there’s more of an incentive to live carefully and morally. Although negative karma does not just go away with faith, a person can work really hard at generating merit, or good karma, to neutralize or overcome negative karma. I believe this system is so much better at promoting moral behavior than simply confessing and being forgiven. Perhaps this is why the corruption continues today. But, I have felt the loving power of Jesus, and that power is greater than anything I’ve ever experienced during meditation. As a I prepare to turn 40 there is a spiritual confusion happening for me! This information will help me sort this out!
Please share this with anyone who may be interested in becoming a Catholic. Please hit the "share" button and like the video. Thank you. -Taylor

Thank you ❤
Do we want Jesus or do we want a religion?

Blessings. Father Ken.”
I’m really looking forward to this meeting
im going through the same thing (was raised Anglican), i emailed my local priest asking about RCIA and he replied the same day with a very warm message asking me to phone him.

It's the wrong track to become a catholic.
You become a catholic, you guarantee yourself eternal damnation.

Why was RCIA unsuccessful?
I was raised Christian, went to a Christian church, and had a Christian family. I have always been interested in Catholicism and studying more about it made me really happy, the way they do things is so beautiful and I want to become one of them. Thanks you for this video I was a lot more educated

The extreme tensions caused by this embezzlement and fraud were withstood on 10 June 2021 by Pope Francis in his exercise of an absolute power of simultaneous authorisations of:
1. procreation charity gift role of Vatican state citizens as helpers of the family within the family alleged embezzled by Cardinal Angelo Becciu and nine others, presently been heard in Pope Francis' Vatican state court,
2. identities of family members of valid and proper marriages in need of union insuring out at unacceptable risk of fraud by the Italian state citizens' representatives in the Italian Parliament "Zan" anti-homophobia bill, defeated in early November 2021 after a protest note to the Italian government against this bill authorised by Pope Francis.

As a cradle Catholic I am SO inspired by those who convert!
