You are THE MAN, Tom. You know how to make quick work of grocery shopping .... and get all the special things. Very impressive! The kids will always remember how amazing you were when they become adults.

So glad you found almost everything you wanted. When that happens for me I have such a great feeling of relief and gratitude. And even if we don’t get many of the items which happens lately, at least we are still eating, right? 😀
So good to see Andrea still in the beginning every video. This is a sad month going to be her first anniversary of being an angel in heaven instead of on Earth.

They need Costco carts! They're double the size, they even sit two kids in the front instead of one.
Watching the shopping dynamic was interesting, love how Tom knows what he needs and knows what his kids like!
An observation, I think men are really good at the puzzle thing, when putting stuff in the shopping cart. My husband is always the one to do it, at the grocery store, Costco, Wal Mart. It an art!!! 😊😊.

in Australia we just buy it all at the supermarket. I’d love to see your meat & vegetable shop 🤓
I'm pretty sure Tom said that they shop once a week at their local grocery store (where Thomas works) for their meat and produce. I think he has said that they like to support their local grocery store by doing that and that they prefer the local stores meat and produce, but for other grocery and household items, they do their monthly WalMart hauls.
They buy that at the local store that they shop at on Thursdays
I believe they do it a local grocery kind of like our deli/IGA:)
DEBBIE ALLAMBY they live in the middle of nowhere, so going to Walmart is a bit of a drive, they only go once a month, things they want more fresh like produce they buy at a smaller local grocery store weekly, they have videos of those trips on the channel

They get them from the local store.

Tom, I'm still impressed with your reach. It's hard to fathom being able to reach the top shelf! My favorite helpers in Walmart are the brooms (for the handles, lol) to help me get some things down.
Goodness Tom I like watching you shop and so proud of the job you are doing but dude I could cut your grocery bill in half with just a few shopping lessons. Your killing me with all that individual serving packages of things. When you have a house full of kiddos you never need to buy individual bags of anything. Also so many of the items you buy come in store brands and almost all are just as good as name brands.
I'm sure he knows those things, as do I. I also have a large family. But I am willing to pay slightly more money for the convenience of having the portion sizes already divided for my children. Yes, I could buy little baggies and divide it up, but sometimes, I would just rather buy them already divided up. That way, they aren't sneaking and filling up a big bowl with chips but instead just eating a prepackaged portion. Also, sometimes store brands *don't* taste as good. It really depends on what your first priority is. Is saving $2 now important to you, or is it convenience or taste? Sometimes it can vary by product or by person. ;)
It may be out of convenience, as he often says he’s so busy. The extra money spent is probably intentionally spent if it saves him time and energy so he can focus on other things.
Sometimes convenience is worth the money too :)
As a homeschooling mom of many, I understand healthy living but, convenience is nice as well . Toms doing awesome , He's amazing . A dad to 9 and he's keeping his house running alone.
When you don't have enough money, you trade your time for money...when you don't have enough time, you trade your money for time.
The lunch meat trays at Smith's lift and pullout like a drawer to make getting out the meat easier. Didn't know if you knew that or not.

Do you have a vegetable garden or grow any produce to help cut down on grocery expenses? Trying my hand at gardening this year, it seems the bunnies think it’s open salad bar.
Normally yes, they plant a garden but this year it was just whatever came up from last year.

I have asthma and every time I wear a mask I have a difficult time breathing. I put one on at the hospital with Tom and even they recommended I take it off in the back rooms.
After having an asthma attack in the Denver Airport from wearing a mask and then another while we were in Kentucky, I don't wear them unless at a hospital or medical center.
April Cameron I have difficulty too, but if I use my inhaler first it is manageable. I am a teacher so I will be wearing a mask all day long when we go back to school.
I’m the same way. I went into aldi & I tried to wear one & ended up with a bloody nose & an asthma attack. Now I just smile & hope they don’t kick me out of anywhere. I prefer to only go places with my husband bc people get so crazy about the masks & don’t understand.
I live in Ontario Canada and you are exempt from wearing a mask if you have a medical reason such as asthma or if you are unable to put one on or take it off buy yourself or under the age of 2
April Cameron ....Isn’t it amazing April how God always knows what we need before we even have any idea...He knows our hearts. Hi Tom and gang. I always enjoy the Wal-Mart hauls. I'm a momma to 8. We go through 5-6 gallons a week of milk. On the east coast our milk cost 2.50$ a gallon. I recently made chicken Alfredo using Andreas recipe. So yummy!!! Praying for your family . ❤

I’m so happy this whole thing seems to be working out for you and Tom. How special you two can come together, support each other and be a source of love together.
Did you know that bunnies make excellent house pets that litterbox train themselves?? They are fastidious like cats, many are hypoallergenic, they are smart like dogs for learning tricks, and as you know, they are quiet as can be :). I make large tupperware containers lined with unprinted newspaper, wood pellets, and lots of hay to serve as a litterbox and food. I stack up a few weeks worth of boxes and throw the the used contents on a compost pile every day, and then rinse out the boxes, and air dry them. Cover your electrical cords and make sure your cat is friendly enough, yet that is not too much of a bother. Large dog gates can be used to block off no bunny zones, too. I bet your kids would adore a snuggle bunny buddy.
