    If this beautiful woman would have had 20 children they would have all been well taken care of and knew without a shadow of doubt that they were loved and adored. It’s amazing how she put so much thought and love into everything she did. Wish you was still here on earth Andrea... you certainly made your mark on this world!

    With all the crazy in our country right now, I had to turn the news off and watch Andrea. She puts my soul at ease. Andrea I'm pretty sure you are a lot of people's therapy! Mine included. Still think about you every day. Miss you sweet lady!

    You should monetize your videos! I know in the past you said you'd be uncomfortable with ads, but you're one of the only UA-cam creators that I wouldn't mind watching ads for.

    Have been praying extra for Andreas family as they just did Easter without her, and as they move towards mother's day and the warmer months. So I've had her on my mind all month, and been watching some of her videos again to honor her. She pointed so much love into being a mom, managing the family, enough to last a lifetime. Love you Andrea💗

    I never imagined that looking for a new grocery haul a few weeks ago would lead me to her failing health. Thank you for allowing us to grieve along with your family. Your family is an inspiration for not living life in excess how media now would like. These positive videos are so uplifting and I find myself watching old hauls for her soothing voice and calming presence.

    I am just wondering does anyone else ever go back and rewatch vids that have Andrea in them? I have been doing that lately. Doing a marathon run you could say. I remember specifically watching this one at that time. I felt so close to her and think of her, Tom and the kids often.

    I just realized what I really love about your videos! Unlike a tv show, where the houses are generally huge, your house and neighbourhood is way more representative of real life! I can relate to you as real people, it is such a relief!

    Hi Andrea! I'm not a religious person, but I respect beliefs that are different from mine very much. I love your vlogs and absolutely adore your family. I hope more people that aren't necessarily religious are watching your vlogs too. Life is all about family and trying to be the best person you can be. And you are doing it! Keep up the vlogs and your positivity. You're awesome!

    Yeey! As soon as I saw you went on a monthly shopping trip in Judah's vlog I got excited for this video. Can I just say how much I admire your planning skills. Everything in your house seems so effortless yet there is so much work behind it. Taking care of 8 children, household and these monthly shopping trips, wow! I hope that one day I can make at least half as good wife and mother as you are! I really really enjoy watching your videos Andrea. Much love!

    Awesome monthly haul as usual! I coupon most of our stuff and food when I can. But I'm totally contemplating going to a monthly haul while we use our stockpile up a bit.
    I used to stock at Walmart on third shift. So sometimes I would have a few carts full of cardboard at the end of the night. Take the child buckle and loop it through the back of another buggy. Then pull the buggy as you go. Just a tip just in case they don't have someone to help next time. ❤️

    the things you said about the shoes - honestly, I'm wondering why you're wearing the shoes all the time (like, indoors as well). Wouldn't they last longer if you'd only wear them outside, plus, floors would be much cleaner as well!
    Also, I find it quite fascinating you buy matching clothes but not matching shoes. No citicism here, just something I noticed!

    • @TheMillsFamilyVlog
      @TheMillsFamilyVlog  7 років тому +15

      I grew up wearing shoes from the time we got up to the time we went to bed. It's much easier to be productive when you're dressed for "business" all day long. Kicking off shoes tells my brain to relax. I've taught my kids, the best I can, to get ready for the day and stay that way. It's much easier to run outside to take care of things or help customers that stop by our office when we don't have to dress our feet each time. I know some people think it's almost a sin to wear shoes indoors :), but I find it works much better for us that way! It's also super annoying to always be trying to find shoes for the little ones who don't keep them on their feet. I'm working on them teaching them to stay shod all day. Even if I think the shoes are put away safe in the closet, inevitably they've disappeared when we need them!

    I agree with you on clothing. I live in CT and besides Once Upon a time (expensive thrift store) the rest are junky or sell home items. I buy all our clothing on Clearance in store and online. While pregnant I bought my son's wardrobe until 4T for a total of $400 including coats and shoes until size 10(name brand at that at a store closing). And he has more than enough to the point he out grows them before I pop the tag which I save for the next. It's how you spend not how much you spend your hard earned money.

    Enjoy all your videos. These hauls are interesting for your big family. Kids are so helpful and kind to one another, it is sweet. Solomon and Claudia are so adorable. All the kids are but these two are so funny. Love the color coding you use, you have such good ideals . You don't shop at Sam's, but they sale chips in a case of 50 for around $11, lots of varieties. I am hoping they get the online ordering soon.Thanks for sharing.

  • @hearsthewater
    @hearsthewater 7 років тому +5

    I know that you try really hard to not have super full carts, but if you find yourself in a pinch again like this time, you could always start off with the non-perishable items and then ask at the front if they could hold the cart for you so you can shop for the rest of the items. You might also be able to ask an associate to take it to the front for you. Just a thought.
    It was funny, I sat down to work on my grocery list for August as I turned your video on, and several things you bought online reminded me of items I needed to put in my online cart. We are blessed that we can also buy our groceries online and then just go pick them up already paid for and bagged. Such a time saver!

    We have a very small grocery store in town and I buy whatever I can there too to support local business. Recently they opened a bigger box grocery store across town and I thought it would be the demise of our little store but it's had the opposite effect! The 'big' store is always PACKED with tourists, to the point you can't find a parking space... All the locals now shop at the little store just to avoid the chaos!

    Hi Andrea. I Love watching your channel. I have spent the last week sitting with you as you homeschool your kids and live your life. You have inspired me so much over this last week.
    We are just about to take the plunge into A.C.E. for homeschool, here in Australia for our 2 Autistic kids. I have learned so much from you and want to thank you for your openness to share the journey. It has given me more confidence to use this program, as I had heard so many negative things about ACE in Australia. I am really excited to get started in our 4th term (Oct-Dec) this year. So much of what you do and say resonates with me and my husband. I hear him giggle at some of the things when I am watching an episode in the evening. He is our Computer man and Mr fix it too.
    God's blessings to your family.

    I dont know if this would work for you, cause Im not sure what the kids are doing while you shop, but just once in a while when its such a big trip like this one since you had to get birthday stuff too, and bulkier stuff, you could ask one of the older kids to come with you and push a second buggy. I'm sure you enjoy your monthly alone time too, but it's just an idea for when the Haul is as large as this one :3

I thought it was funny because I had one on my last monthly list as well and I thought it was a pain maneuvering it through the rest of the trip. Now I know I had it easy!! Thanks for taking along again. You're such a wonderful person. 😍😍😍

    Hey Andrea! I don't know much about your culture (that's why I love your channel so much!!) and I recently saw a documentary about Quiverfull families. I was wondering if you share the same philosophy as them? Thanks anyway for uploading videos for us :)

      Samantha Marie... I love them. They are super easy for them to get on and off. Very comfortable and go with pretty much everything. I am really wanting the red pair but can't find them anywhere ):

    I loved shopping with Andrea glad to watch it 2 years later! I can just imagine if Tom was with, him laying on top of the polyfill bag to flatten it to make it fit under the cart!!

    Love, love, LOVE your channel and family! Buying shoes is a crap shoot anyway. When my boys were growing up, I could spend $50 on shoes and they last for 6 months, but then a $12 pair from Walmart may last 2 years. Go figure!

    I am considering following your method, not only you will save money on grocery, but on gasoline and even your car tires. Thank you, Karen

    I would have cashed out with all your non food items put that in the car then do your grocery shopping. Just a thought when you have a lot to buy 😉

    The Arby's employee was so nice!! Looks like you got some good prizes for the treasure chest! I was watching you with the polyfill having to keep readjusting it in your cart I bet you were like ugh too bulky! That's a great deal on shoes glad you found them! I was wondering if you would stock up on back to school supplies from Office Depot and Walmart great time to get them! I like to buy ahead on Christmas presents when I find a good deal too! I hope Eden didn't see them while you were van! That was nice of the Walmart employee pushing your extra cart out for you don't think that would happen where I live!
