- It's Christmas day! A big storm kept most of our family from coming to celebrate but we still had a nice day exchanging gifts, trying the Beanboozled jelly beans and enjoying our gifts with each other.

I'm rewatching the Cihristmas videos and this one had me so emotional when Andrea opened the copper mugs from Tom and said I'm happy with just this gift. She was the most caring, sweetest, loving wife and mother who was taken way too soon. Andrea, you are greatly missed! ❤❤

Your children are so humble ❤❤ it warms my heart. All the kids nowadays just want expensive things for Christmas like phones laptops etc. and Thomas was so happy just to get thumbtacks, that really just warmed my heart.

I've only just stumbled across your vlogs and just wanted to say how refreshing it is to see a large family which hasn't compromised quality of life. It is expensive to raise one child well yet you do it with 8 and if I'm not wrong would welcome even more. Also, Judah's expression whenever he opens a gift is I'm sure one almost every parent would want to see during these happy family moments.

Love your idea of each of the children have a basket to put their goodies in from their stocking!!
We use those baskets for putting away laundry, but they're also perfect for containing Christmas morning abundance.

I really enjoyed this Christmas vid. Just watched toms video of your present opening, well done girl for fighting through it, #girlpower and I'd just like to say, I've not been watching you for long but since I have you have been a big inspiration to me, I have 4 kids that I homeschool, 2 boys 2 girls, we are in a 3 bed house and I was starting to think it was too small for us cos the kids are growing, but since watching you I've realised that it's not, it's just me thinking it is cos of everything we have in it, so now I'm in the process of decluttering so I want to say Thankyou and don't listen to the hate you are amazing 😊

I enjoy plain chocolate like a Hershey bar, but I don't eat a lot. I don't really like all the sour stuff they do. Last night Tom asked all the kids to stop buying him stuff for awhile (we went to the grocery store and several of them came home with things for him) because his candy stash is getting much too large and he'll never eat it all. He was feeling a little depressed by too much candy! :)

We got the boys each a computer game. Since we bought them on-line there wasn't anything tangible for them to open so we printed pictures of them and wrapped them.

If you search around there is diy mixes for the easy bake ovens ... that use cake mixes etc ..
A lot cheaper to use those boxed Jiffy mixes. That's what my sisters and I used waaaaaay back in the early 70s (the olden days lol) when we got an Easy Bake.

It looks like you guys had a great christmas!!! I know that you guys love games too. Have you ever heard of Telastrantion. I think that is what it is called. They make one where u can have up to 12 players. It is like a mix of the old game telephone and pictionary. It is super fun. :)

Merry Christmas! We had horrible weather. On Christmas Day we had a thunderstorm and then it froze over night. I am not sure I ever remember having a thunderstorm in the winter here in Minnesota.
Someone said there was lightning here, too. I thought I saw some on Christmas Eve when we were out driving and looking at Christmas lights. I thought I was imagining things, but maybe I wasn't!
We had really loud thunder along with rain after we were all home and tucked in Christmas night. I know we've had this in northern Michigan but it certainly is rare.
Just visiting a Mills' Christmas 🎄, again, it's so nice. I ran across the comments about the thunderstorm in winter. I was stationed in northern Germany in the early 80's. We were having one heck of a snow storm, and I mentioned to my roommate that I saw what seemed to be lightning and the heard thunder. I'm from central Texas, we have our fair share of thunderstorms. I had never knew that you could have thunder, lightning, and a snowstorm at the same time. I was in my early twenties and I had a lot more to learn.
Michigan just had another series of winter thunderstorms this past week although it was a combination of snow and rain. One horrible mess! No school in our entire region yesterday (NW corner of the lower peninsula).
I wish we had snow on Christmas. I live in a place where we usually have a lot of snow during the winter but this year we didn't have any.
It doesn't feel very Christmas-y on those brown years, does it.

It wasn't in a mean way tho, idk why I said annoying,but loud was the right word. Don't get me wrong I live with four other kids at my dads house, I know what loud is. It's just that I can't handle loud noises all at once, sorry if my last comment sounded like a hate comment, I was kind of just trying to relate to it.
