Mogwai performing I Love You, I'm Going To Blow Up Your School, live at Enmore Theatre in Sydney on 4 March 2009
Mogwai are a Scottish rock band from Glasgow. Formed by Stuart Braithwaite and Dominic Aitchison in 1995, Mogwai has since become one of the most influential and best known names in post-rock. They typically compose instrumental, sometimes lengthy guitar-based pieces in the post-rock tradition. They are usually focused around the elaboration of a single theme and are known for dynamic contrast, melodic bass guitar riffs, their use of guitar distortion and effects.

MOGWAİ!
Ahora a volar todo el mundo
pero que sonido.
Mogwai is nice and atmospheric background music for me, I can't imagine going to a concert for it though. What are those people in the audience even doing? Standing there in trance? Seems kind of boring to me. If anyone has a different perspective on this feel free to tell me off
Etylenediaminetetraacetic acid I guess it all comes down to personal preference. I would personally love to see them live, the songs would be much louder and I feel like I’d get a different feeling than listening to it normally at home. And I’d have to say yes, they would be standing there in trance, I personally would love to be standing there but to each his own. Cheers!
Dying the Rave Tapes tour they had a nice electrical light show to go along with the music, it was really great. If you go live most songs by most artist are going to sound noticeably different than the studio version. That being said their live show is awesome, I saw like 7-10 people from my local record store there attending.
What should you even do at a bloody concert if not listening to the bloody music?
I went to see them last year and it was an experience in and of itself-because they're playing live and because they improvise gigs can be very different to listening to them at home. Also if you think Mogwai is nice background music then I suppose that's why youd find a Mogwai concert boring, and like the commenter above said, I went to listen to the music
why people find listening to music so rewarding? People enjoy their show for the same reason people enjoy listening to classic music... If for you it is just background music, sure you do not find it worth going to concert, but some people like it...
