I've known someone with that phobia (needles), and the way theyre able to memorize what caused it too. A nurse kept sticking needles in because they kept getting the wrong spot. Its unfortunately incidents like this, that won't make anyones lives any better.
At least Chopper obtained informed consent before jabbing Zoro that makes him better than 90% doctors in real life and he even knows all the side effects. SAD!

To be fair, the problem isn't the needle, but the Doc. Can you remain calm, when someone stabs you to the point of going in and out of your arm then he says ''sorry, wrong move'' and stabs you again as if hitting you with a head finisher?
I mean zoro himself said it, he stabbed just flesh and pushed the needle too deep (maybe reaching the bones or muscles?) And personally i was slightly stabbed in the arm by mistake and it is one hell of a pain so i can't imagine how much pain it is to be broken in 2 and be stabbed with a needle that big.

@@caspdwd Can I just say 1- I'm literally 15 2- I've had a phobia of needles for almost my whole life And 3- I have very bad and uncontrollable anxiety including health anxiety P.s I only had slight tears in my eyes which is quite a good achievement for me and I just wanted to say that my favorite character has made me feel better for my phobia that I feel is so pathetic. P.S.S I forgot to mention that I have ASD which makes me more emotionally attached to things I enjoy adding a higher chance of me crying.

You'd think I would be annoyed and tell people they're babies. But I don't feel that way at all because it's not hard to understand what a phobia is and that it doesn't work that way. If "manning up" was so easy, nobody would be afraid of needles and there would be no phobias. honestly it was a good idea wrapping up zoro with that many bandages due to how much bones he broke, sanji may have some knowladge in the medical field.
