When Momo asked the Strawhats is he truly their friend, their response is like 'of course you are'. Very heartwarming after all the time they've had together and building up their bonds and friendship.
Even taking away the fact that forcibly aged himself two decades, Momo's tears is understandable. Its hard to say goodbye to amazing people you owe so much of your life to. Actually come to think of it, doesn't everyone of royalty always cry when they are forced to see off the crew? Specifically Luffy?
Well I think this is because when a person or persons that we shared a lot of great things with have to go, we feel it because they leave a void in us. Sometimes it takes a long time to get over it, but it's temporary.
Zoro respects men who discard their pride and confess their true feelings. It's why he respects Usopp and secretly Sanji so much. Sanji at Baratie confessed his true gratitude to Zeff that he normally hid and Usopp confessed his true regret for the way he treated Luffy out of his insecurity for being weak which he always hid. They both revealed their vulnerabilities that they were hiding which earned Zoro's trust and respect. Zoro did the same thing except not with Luffy but rather Mihawk. When he lost his duel with Mihawk he didn't reveal his true feelings. It was only after his devestating loss to Admiral Kizaru that he discarded his pride and begged Mihawk to train him to become stronger in order to protect his friends which had become more important than being the world's strongest swordsman. Ironically enough that's what will make him the world's strongest swordsman.
I love seeing takes from Zoro fans. Mosshead isn't that complicated but he doesn't need to be, I look to him on how to become a better man overall. Him and Franky are absolutely wonderful role models on what being a man means.
When you think about it, Momonosuke and Yamato are literally close to the same age. But Momonosuke had to lose out of the entire rest of his childhood.
Momo at least knows whose his parents are. Yamato has either a random Mother Kaido forgot or ... Oh NO... It would explain everything why Kaido is the way he is.. Let's just say Yamato was adopted so she won't know the truth 💀

You totally forget that this poor 8 year old kid was saddled with so much responsibility whilst never having the time to properly grieve his lost childhood and his father's murder. Luffy and his whole crew are honestly probably the first friends and closest support network he's ever had in his life and I absolutely cried my eyes out in this scene because of all that.

It's clear to me that the reason Luffy called Momo his brother is because at one point Luffy was in Momo's position; begging Ace and Sabo not to leave him alone. He sees himself in Momo, and because of that he extended the same kindness Ace and Sabo extended to him.
Momo's story mirrors his father's. Joining the future Pirate King, learning how to face adversity and lead his people, and gaining the power to defend Wano. I hope the difference is that there is no Kaido type villain for Momo and that he can keep Wano safe. This has to be some of the best storytelling I've ever experienced.
For all New Fans and Watchers, in one piece when a nation or Town or Area has a Jolly Roger of a Crew it means that area is backed by that Crew its Territory and Family to it. White beard after Roger kept the world calm Because a lot of Lands and territory held the Whitebeards Flag as well as someone like Shanks Jolly Roger as well this is how they kept the Seas calm and in order for Years Luffy is now doing the Same with his Fleet and territory just like Wano here :)

I love how this scene perfectly encapsulates Luffy’s worthiness of being a Yonko. A true emperor of the sea is a righteous and strong individual who always fights for what’s theirs no matter what and takes on the responsibilities of occupying numerous territories. Whitebeard, Shanks, and even Big Mom possess these qualities. Kaido may have been strong, but this alone makes Luffy a better Yonko than he ever was

Giving the One Piece audience an actual glimpse of a pirate crew giving their flag to a territory, all while indicating that Luffy is now allied with Wano, was the perfect choice.

I really liked this scene,especially since I really like to see Luffy's dynamics eith evryone whether its confimed by Luffy himself or not(what I mean is if someone claims to be his sister or brother but he never said anything about it like that). after years of being the younger brother and being looked out for(especially when he needed it) I guess in a sense or even with Tama he began to accept his role as a brother figure or even just decided on his own he was ready,he already feels like an older brother to them for me but no matter what he sees a person as they are his friends and he will protect them all equally. I just kinda like to imagine Ace's spirit sort of living on it either Luffy or those he meets or maybe even just watching over him,I was especially happy when he gave momo his roger. now Luffy doesn't just go around claiming people as his family,in a way its sort of earned,like having a cat and eventually being able to pet it or something like that,he's still healing from his brother's death in some way so Luffy calling momo his little brother was most likely a big step for him,it means a lot to him with the whole brother thing so it warmed my heart to see.

Thanks man for reminding me that there is a huge possibility of Blackbeard being aware of the fact that shirahoshi is the incarnation of Poseidon. It's clear to me that the reason Luffy called Momo his brother is because at one point Luffy was in Momo's position; begging Ace and Sabo not to leave him alone. He sees himself in Momo, and because of that he extended the same kindness Ace and Sabo extended to him.

This was actually way more wholesome and heartwarming than I expected it to be.
Momo's story mirrors his father's. Joining the future Pirate King, learning how to face adversity and lead his people, and gaining the power to defend Wano. I hope the difference is that there is no Kaido type villain for Momo and that he can keep Wano safe.
This has to be some of the best storytelling I've ever experienced.

For all New Fans and Watchers, in one piece when a nation or Town or Area has a Jolly Roger of a Crew it means that area is backed by that Crew its Territory and Family to it. White beard after Roger kept the world calm Because a lot of Lands and territory held the Whitebeards Flag as well as someone like Shanks Jolly Roger as well this is how they kept the Seas calm and in order for Years Luffy is now doing the Same with his Fleet and territory just like Wano here :)

I love how this scene perfectly encapsulates Luffy’s worthiness of being a Yonko. A true emperor of the sea is a righteous and strong individual who always fights for what’s theirs no matter what and takes on the responsibilities of occupying numerous territories. Whitebeard, Shanks, and even Big Mom possess these qualities. Kaido may have been strong, but this alone makes Luffy a better Yonko than he ever was

I really liked this scene,especially since I really like to see Luffy's dynamics eith evryone whether its confimed by Luffy himself or not(what I mean is if someone claims to be his sister or brother but he never said anything about it like that). after years of being the younger brother and being looked out for(especially when he needed it) I guess in a sense or even with Tama he began to accept his role as a brother figure or even just decided on his own he was ready,he already feels like an older brother to them for me but no matter what he sees a person as they are his friends and he will protect them all equally. I just kinda like to imagine Ace's spirit sort of living on it either Luffy or those he meets or maybe even just watching over him,I was especially happy when he gave momo his roger. now Luffy doesn't just go around claiming people as his family,in a way its sort of earned,like having a cat and eventually being able to pet it or something like that,he's still healing from his brother's death in some way so Luffy calling momo his little brother was most likely a big step for him,it means a lot to him with the whole brother thing so it warmed my heart to see.
