14:43-14:53 OH NO SHE'S FALLEN INTO THE BOTTOMLESS PIT!!! Actually its The Catacombs of The Orgul Monster, luckily for Frances he's away at the moment!
@@JungleReRun I remember very very exciting being 12 and on the tv. We were all very hyper. Took it all very seriously though during the filming. Lol. We were given a video recording but through the years one of us lost it!! So this is absolutely amazing to have this. Can’t wait to show my kids it! They won’t believe it’s me. Lol. Thanks again.
@@smartin4779 I have to wonder in between challenges there would have been some downtime, right? Makes me wonder if you chatted to the people in the Sid and Elvis costumes!
This is probably because they were all given one prize (with the Gold prize being a bonus) instead of all the previous prizes, thus allowing for better prizes.
I felt the prizes in Jungle Run were at their best in this era with the exception of some Underwood episodes, maybe that's why they were only allowing THE HIGHEST VALUED MONKEY to be given away in each show and The Golden Monkey was often A Holiday to enjoy as a team bit like The Crystal Maze
22:12 They actually completed the puzzle at that point so the door should've opened, but I get the feeling if someone tried to get The Silver Monkey they would've been trapped in The Temple and the entire team would win NOTHING but The Jungle Run T-Shirt & Bag! Also makes you wonder if that Extra 15 Seconds they could've had for Not Buying-Out Frances out of The Tomb would've been enough to win The Silver Monkey!
@@davidfearis7335 yeah but the team had to make a dilemma which means that you must leave 50 bananas for Sid and Elvis and then boom you got your teammate back simple
I remember this one well, oh to be 11-12 again watching this haha.

Sacrificing the 15 second time that COSTED the chance for a silver monkey!
Oh my god this is me. I’m Shelley. This was 24 years ago. How on earth did you find this?? Amazing. Thanks.
That's amazing! How was it on the show?

No problem! It's a great show.

The Sacrifice of 50 BANANAS:-15 SECONDS In The Temple Costed The Team THE SILVER MONKEY
Oh no she fell into the pit
22:44 I have one, which I got sometime in 2001.
Jungle Run Capture Replay!
7:40 - 7:44
18:20 Very Cleverly Hidden That GOLDEN BANANA!
Nintendo 64 and SM64 for bronze? Prizes aren't usually even that good for gold in other episodes

What a worse place to hid a golden banana.
To be quiet honest that Tomb was the most difficult challenge I have ever seen
The Planks really slowed them down & then with The Rope Swing she had neither the grip nor the upper-body strength to make the crossing

random question, has anyone figured out what the maximum time in the temple of the Dominic Wood era could have been?
David Fearis mentioned in another comment that it was 3:15. 30 base seconds, plus 15 seconds for every 50 bananas, 550 bananas means 3:15
It's 500 bananas. The golden banana is a boost to the total. You don't exceed 500
