It's nice on two levels. It's cute that the monkeys are comforting the trapped girl in-universe. In real life, while she's not in danger, she is likely disappointed and upset for getting trapped, which not only would put her team at a disadvantage, but means she can't participate in the fun challenges. It's like the actors in the monkey suits are trying to comfort her as well.
The Demolicious Girls were Diabolical throughout Jungle Run!
The Monkey Traps challenge: The most awful thing about it is making a very difficult decision to choose one of two friends in the traps. It's just harsh that they can't all be together.
It could've been a bit like that other challenge involving the cages in the Dominic Wood series
they way he looks and speaks to the camera
I feel bad for Aaliyah. She spent the whole challenge in the traps, and was never released at any point, and to top it all off, they left her behind!
And she didn't get the prize lol
Yeah but then again she kinda deserved it after what she did to Sid & Elvis in Angel Falls
If I faced two team members being trapped in the monkey traps at the Temple Wall, I would be crying if I could only release one of them when time runs out and I had to leave one of them behind....
The girls begging to get her to bail one of them out is just heart breaking and stressful
On the monkey traps challenge, I was also like, “Rachel, HURRY!” and moving my body to the fast music but time was up and it was too late. When time was up I was like, “TIME’S UP!!!!! ALREADY!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! THEY LOST BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO SLOW!!!!” 😂😂😂😂😂
10:35-12:20 I've seen a number of nasty injuries on Takeshi's Castle!
But watch Aaliyah & Laura begging for Rachel to chose them to be freed was The Most Painful Moments I ever witnessed in Jungle Run!
In the Temple Wall challenge, it would have been better if they could free one player for nothing, and buy the other player out with the Master Key, a bit like in the Cabinet of Chance.
Also it would've depended on whether the girls would've been allowed to keep the statue the released during the challenge if yes then they would have 40 Seconds, no would only leave them with 30 Seconds
And at the cost of 2 Silver Monkey Statues buying her the girl back with statues would've only left the girls with 10-20 Seconds with 2 Challenges Left
So there was the chance they might've done what The Cackling Hyenas did & left her behind
What if Rachel decided to leave BOTH of her teammates locked in, took the monkey statue, and did the rest of the Jungle Run as a solo act? Selfish, yes. But would’ve been interesting to see.
I wonder about that as well. If she went to the Old Fort, how would she have been able to play? Would Michael have had to guide her around, or would they have selected another challenge?

@@HafeezUrRehman916 If she got locked in The Maze she might've been able to use 2 Statues to get herself out as well as losing all the statues she collected in the maze, although if that happened she would be in a worse situation than THE WOLF SPIDERS, by going to The Temple on her own & only having a few seconds to complete The Marble Maze all by herself
@@davidfearis7335 I always thought if Rachel got locked in the maze, that would have been the end of it because all 3 would be locked in and Rachel couldn’t get out the maze because there would be no teammates above to give up 2 statues I thought that.
I remember watching this episode when it first aired and I nearly cried for Aaliyah, she was nearly in tears

On the monkey traps challenge, they only had 1 minute 30 seconds and I guess they were moving far too slow and so she couldn’t get them out. They were shouting too, “GET US OUT! GET US OUT!” but time was up and it was too late.
Doesn't help one of them entered the traps when there was TEN SECONDS left.

I don’t think she should.

The girls performed so poorly they weren’t really fit for anything!
I always wondered why anyone couldn’t hold the trap up while the others were in them. Yeah its cheating but did nobody ever think to do that? When me and my friends played Jungle Run we never had to do this challenge (Thank god) but if we did that’s what I would’ve done.
or did they not think to stick their leg out and hold it up from the inside?

@@seapea127 It was a lot of fun and challenging for me and my friends. It was one of the best experiences of my life. We also managed to win the golden monkey. I don’t remember what challenges we did other than the maze

Rachel was too focused on The Statues in the chest rather than freeing her teammates, mind you they were all pretty much to blame for that Diabolical Performance

@@davidfearis7335 I guess the 1st key doesn’t open the first 2 monkey traps, but does open monkey trap 3 and releases the 1st set of statues. The 2nd key opens the 2nd monkey trap and releases the 2nd set of statues. And the 3rd key opens monkey trap 1 and releases the 3rd set of statues. And there you go. But I'm not sure really.

@@davidfearis7335 I know she should have freed her team first to avoid getting lock ins, and then release the statues. But time was up and it was too late and I was like, “Too late now. They got a double lock in.”
