You're all very skilled but I must say that I don't get prog metal drums. Like there's almost zero dynamics? During the intro part, the drums are super agressive compared to the soothing bass melodies, with a really tight, triggered sound. Like why is the default mode just pounding quarternotes on the china/crash while following the riff exactly with the kick drums?
just a little less double kick and this becomes perfection...

Just found you guys thanks to your featuring Simon Grove. Really refreshing stuff. Glad I stumbled upon you,; will be re listening for sure. I think you could do better for a name tho. You guys have a pretty unique set up with just bass/drums and your music is beautiful; but your name gives the impression that you play mediocre death metal.
I just spend a bunch of money buying new cds from browsing youtube...make it stop :(
The only thing that could make this better is to rip the frets out of those basses

Yeah the kick is a little deep and papery, could be snappier. But I think that's what they're going for since the bass would drown the kick unless it rung out like it does here.
