I have kept that Diamond Painting Shoppe box due to the dimensions making that so easy and have used it for multiple canvases. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I really wish I knew about this hack. I just finished a 90x120 canvas and it was so rough!!!!! Working on another one so this is going to save my back and having it hanging almost too the floor
You are so welcome! I have the Diamond Painting Summer School Series currently running that's going over everything I wish I would have known my first few months before I wasted my money and time lol if you want to check that out it's rubbing through the end of July, 2 videos a week. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Alice, I'm so happy I could help you! I kept hearing people mention pool noodles, but hadn't seen anyone demonstrate. So I started playing around until I figured it out. Then thought that if I was confused by the idea, others might be too, thus the video. I really need to refilm it now that I have better equipment and editing software lol. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! I just love to interact with viewers!
You're very welcome! I used the technique with Autumn 1900 by Alphonse Mucha from Diamond Painting Shoppe, and can say it definitely works and made it so much more manageable. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Hi Summer! New to your channel and I'm so glad I found you. I'm also new to Diamond Painting. I just purchase my first painting and it's 60x90cm (what the hell was I thinking). I love Alice and Wonderland and this sucker is long. It falls off both edges of my craft table. This is exactly what I wanting to do so, I went got me pool noodle ( although my husband asked if I was going swimming). LOl! Thank you so much for the video.
I'm so glad you're here! I have a definite bias for larger paintings, so I'm trying to add to my stash in the smaller "snack sized" kits... Then I went and ordered two panels lol oops!
Sorry I've been away from UA-cam and Diamond Painting for awhile. I've tried it both ways and Prefer the canvas to be wider than the noodle myself, makes it much easier to use the clips to hold the canvas.
Not to rain on your parade but you can go to a hardware store like lowes or home depot and get a pipe cover for less then dollar tree and they all ready have the slits. That's what I do and save money.. But this is ok... Nice job in showing every one this idea...
Thanks for the info! I immediately went over to Lowes and Home Depot's websites to check on this so I could include this in Diamond Painting Summer School. I'm not sure if it's due to location, I'm in California and the cost of everything is higher here, but I couldn't find pipe covers/insulation for less than $1.98. I'm wondering if the local hardware store might carry it for less and will check next time I get into town. Thanks for watching, and commenting. I'm definitely going to investigate!
Sorry for the late reply, but they had held your comment for review for some unknown reason. I saw that it was for 6 feet. So you'd only have to cut it down to whatever length you wanted. Right now I have a couple of colors of pool noodles running around on panels and I instantly know which kit it is based on what color pool noodle lol. I'm hoping to do a shopping vlog soon because we have a Dollar Tree next door to a Home Depot here, so though I could do a comparison.
Oh the scrolling that up and putting it back in a box so that you can come back to it is a game changer

Should the noodle be shorter than the Diamond Painting?

@@SummerSparkles thank you for getting back to me! That's how I've been doing it as well! GAME CHANGER!!!!

@@SummerSparklesI also just checked - same $1.98 - but it's for 6 ft!! I think I'm going to get one, worth it to me to not have to cut the slit myself
