Bro its mostly kids and NEETs who will support anything thats unpopular to seem edgy and interesting (in their minds). If Ukraine was ruled by actual swastika armband wearing nazis and Russia was supported by the west, govs and populous, i can guaranteeeeeee you theyd be supporting Ukraine and shitting on Russia 24/7. But since everyone supports Ukraine because duh, a nation has a right to exist and make decisions on its own, they have to support Russia instead.
The funniest ones are eastern or central europeans (as a Pole i see it a lot) who parrot russian propaganda like "NATO expansionism" even tho we LITERALLY BEGGED NATO to take us because we knew Russia wont be in such chaos like in the 90s for long (our government seriously threatened NATO to buy nukes and point them westward, and then threatened Clinton to call all Poles living in US, like 20 million of them, to vote republican - and democrats shat their pants and allowed Poland to join).
So we literally threatened nuclear war to be saved from Russia and now some Polish kids criticise Ukraine for trying to follow the same path we did.
Then again ive never met any Pole who actually thinks that in real life, and we know very well how ABSURD russian troll farms can be, im talking thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people working 9-5 pushing their agenda so it might not even be real Poles at all...

I think it is obvious that Putin is a great politician and manipulator.
If he had stayed in the political arena, he would have ruled until a ripe old age, and then died peacefully.
Too bad for him, that he started a war.
He did not know how bad Russia's army had become through his kleptocratic rule.
Worse, he delusionally thinks he is a military genius, and has made disastrous decisions.
Not understanding the need for training is absurdly incompetent.
Anyone managing people knows the need for training.
    Sales people need sales training.
    Janitors need training.
    Truck drivers need training.
Almost anything that people do, they need to be trained.
Sending conscripts to battle without training is incomprehensively STUPID.
How could Putin be THAT stupid???
I think we can all start the office pool on when we think Putin's rule will end.
    My bet is 6/9/2022.

Since by definition, a government is an organized group controlling the legislature, executive, and judiciary functions of a state, and the Taliban does just that.), the USA still lost, and whether the Taliban is an insurgency or not doesn't change this fact.
I also wouldn't use the term "just lost", as despite the method of achieving victory or how legitimate you would consider the victory, the Vietcong and their allies did secure victory by holding until US popular support significantly declined.

Yeah thats the sad part often when a country doesn't have a strong enough military, they have to relay on militias, which are often radicals, that use there popularity to take over the country, that happened in afghanistan and something similar almost happened in Weimar Germany with the Freikorps.

Schamil Basaev and Zelimhan Yanderbiev were Islamists. And Maskhadov democrat. Maskhadow won the elections by far. Some districts in chechnya elected islamists into the public offices. The army was shrunk to 2000 men after the war.(it couldnt afford to pay the army at 12k) The problem for the Chechen government was more of a funding problem. After the war, all taxes were decreased and income taxes halted. Russia signed to pay 160 bio$ (but never did) as war reperations. The FSB payed thugs and drug dealers to cause as much reputation damage as they could.
The Wahabist movement gave the rest to the Ichkerian reputations with their stupid dump idiocy.
