Don, good reaction. One point to note...the "her" you hear come in is most likely Jimmy Fortune of the group members. He actually replaced an original member many years into the group's time together. In my opinion, he makes them even better. I was fortunate enough to see the Statler Brothers on their farewell tour as a child. My uncle bought our whole family tickets. I think I slept through the concert but oh what would I give to have that time back!
The Statler Brothers sing in such beautiful harmony. This is a great song by them. The video of this song is real good also. Thanks for the request, Ed and great reaction by them, Don!
You need to hear their song "More Than a Name on a Wall" about a mother visiting the Vietnam Memorial. There are over 58,000 names on that wall, and every one of them was more than just a name to the people who loved them.
Yeeeeeeeeeeeees! Great song! Like you I have them all and there are so many wonderful songs that never were played on the radio that many people have probably never heard!
We need you to do more of the Statler Brothers.🎉
Thank you Don, great reaction. Ed, I had never heard this song before, and it's beautiful. Brings back memories that I had almost forgotten.
Never heard this one but it's beautiful thanks Ed. Thanks Don for the awesome reaction

I think you would love their song "I'll Take Care of You." That's definitely a very sweet song!

I have all their albums. There are some great songs on them that never got air time and it is a shame. Check out "That Summer".
Oh, how I love "That Summer", always makes me cry

The album version is preceded by a prequel track called “our Street”. Together they are perfect
