LFF BFI Clint Mansell Masterclass Highlights

Composer Clint Mansell on how he made the transition from his early career with the band Pop Will Eat Itself to composing for film. After leaving the band, Mansell moved to New York, where he met director Darren Aronofsky and wrote the music for his debut feature Pi.

Oh so late to the party but remembering LOVING the soundtrack to Pi. Good times.

We got given the script to Pi to score and passed it up because we were on tour in the states and our record label edged us away from what was not a good thing to do at the time.......If only eh ! what a dumb move ! big respects to Clint....what a great job xx

love mr mansell, such a talent, I don't think there are enough interviews out there with him, but then, maybe he doesn't court it.
