Jehovah’s Witnesses has no way around this. Try this when you meet them on the streets. Edit: you might see some JWs going to damage control in the comments below. Notice none of them will answer why Jesus says he’s the Alpha and the Omega, a title belonging to Jehovah alone.
I’ve used Rev 22:13 before on JWs. Once I was told that it was Jehovah speaking in 13. They said it changed voices before and after 13, only 13 was Jehovah speaking, no context, no logic, nothing, just going by what they’ve been told without thinking. The people who act like that are very hardened in their heart. Another group of JWs admitted it’s Jesus speaking in verse 13, but said that all those titles, Alpha and Omega, First and Last, Beginning and End, all refer to the resurrection. They said Jesus is saying He is the first one resurrected by Jehovah and last one, the Alpha resurrection and Omega resurrection, Beginning of resurrection and end. Again, no context, no logic, no real thought, just them trying to make sense of Jesus being called titles that only YHWH is called. They say the titles don’t mean the same thing for Jehovah and for Jesus, but have nothing to support this egregious nonsense. Keep in mind I normally ask if there’s two Alpha and Omega, two First and Last, two Beginning and End, before I get into the scriptures. They say no, there’s only one, Jehovah, then I take them to the scriptures to show Jesus is those titles. I’m only sharing this so you are ready for some of the responses you might get. Using any logic or reason you will see these responses are nonsensical. But it’s typically how they respond to a huge problem like this.

What about … Matthew 16:27 (NWT) For the Son of man is to come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will repay each one according to his behavior. Revelation 22:12 (NWT) 'Look! I am coming quickly, and the reward I give is with me, to repay each one according to his work. God and Jesus are both said to be coming quickly together. Rev 1: 4-5 ; 7-8. God and Jesus are both said to be Judging 2 Timothy 4:1. In Revelation 22:12-13 it is not speaking about Jesus for the simple fact it shows when the speaker switches from God to then talking about Jesus in verse 4-13 it is talking about God ,then starting in verse 16 it states” I Jesus “ it is to show the reader when the revelation then speaks about Jesus .

It could be talking about the father, El, and his son, Yahweh, as described in Deuteronomy. It's in the Septuagint, so as a Jew, Jesus would have known that Yeshuah was the Son, and El was the Father. The Jews know God had a father, and had siblings, but the Christians tried to erase that part. They even erased Yahweh's mother, Asherah.

My parents raised me & my 6 siblings as JW’s. I was gloriously saved from false religion on 04-28-84. I tried to show my parents THE TRUTH about Jesus but they rejected my efforts & we went our separate ways. I shared the truth about Christ’s identity with my brothers & sisters. Some believed & received Jesus as Lord & Savior; some did not. My mom was a JW from 1960 until her death in November 2019. God bless your ministry!!
JW's need Jesus? 1. Jesus instructed his True followers to pray: "OUR Father in the heavens let YOUR NAME be sanctified..." Jesus also stated: "My food is to do the will of him who sent me..." (John 4:32, 34). There are TOO many, too many Scriptures identifying it is God, Jehovah (that enunciation has been made clear more recently as accurate, not Yahweh). Gods name appears close to seven thousand times in the Hebrew Scriptures, all in praiseworthy ways. God is first. Jesus is second, as he is Gods only begotten son. Jesus put God first, so did his followers (1 Cor 11:3). But the first Christians' job was to make the ransom believable and so Jesus was mentioned many times, but they never ignored that God was the reason for life. JW's acknowledge Jesus' Memorial is the most important gathering day of the year, and every prayer is in Jesus' name. 2. "own material." First century Christians, the first Christians, didn't only quote Jesus nor the Hebrew Scriptures, but they use illustrations, parables, examples, the power of reason, to reach and find those with the right heart condition (Phi 4:5; Titus 3:2; Jam 3:17; Acts 17:2 and many more). Since today's Christians can't add more books to the Bible, REASON says to follow the path of Jesus's disciples and Reason with everyone, and with themselves, "from the Scripture," as they did from Jesus and the Hebrew Scriptures. JW's use their publications as sources to reason with others, as today's world has many, many differences and problems than the times of Jesus and the ancient Hebrews. "Their" Bible is simply another translation and transliteration, the ONLY way to see who has the correct version is up to the honest hearted humble individuals to examine. Without God, there is no creation, no life, and Gods name was found some seven thousand times in the Hebrew Scriptures. His name was never meant to be removed. 3. I don't mean any offense, I I wont use belittling words, but as you guys went about Rev 21:22-24, where is your power of reason? It is very clear the Lamb and God are two separate beings working together. :22 states God and the Lamb are the temple but it says ALSO the Lamb is (two separate beings), much the same as a CEO and a GM are both the same in goal and purpose but are two different beings. "The glory of God illuminated it..." Is it really not clear to you guys that it is Gods power and glory that has given the Lamb his light, since all authority in all creation (God was not created so he can't be under this authority) was GIVEN to Jesus? The CEO's guidance (or light) comes or shines through the GM, it is that simple and obvious. Jesus is the light, but God is the ultimate source. It is really that simple, and your twisting of Gods word is why so many people turn away from God and even hate God. You confuse the masses. 4. I wont keep watching because in just three (3) minutes I have proven through the power of reason and Scripture your points wrong but I will finish with this. Unity. And again, I mean no offense and will stick with the evidence and reason. You guys don't have a unified body of "ministerial servants," no "overseers," or "elders" or "disciples" world wide, do you? Unless I missed it somehow? Because God has always had a unified "people for his name" (Acts 15:14-18), Starting with ancient Israel (even starting with Abraham) all the way to first century (and somewhat into the second) Christians. Unity is a requirement from God, and we READ about it and know of it in Gods written word. Only "in the last days" would true worship of God return (Isaiah 2:2-4; Daniel 12:7-10; Acts 15:14-18...). First century Christians (as I said above also somewhat into the second) did not posses any idols to assist them in prayer nor for any reason, they prayed Only to God (not to saints or angels) and in Jesus' name, they abstained from blood, they remained neutral politically and never supported war in any way, they did NOT believe Jesus was God (unless you twist Gods word and stick with false traditions) and made it clear (Philippians 2:6; Col 1:5; Heb 1:3; John 1:4 and throughout all the Christian Scriptures), and in in the face of powerful apposition they kept preaching the good news of Gods kingdom. They were hated, persecuted and tortured for their beliefs, for their righteous acts ("faith without works is dead" stated James). They were ALL unified throughout the Roman empire where they had built/made/settled congregations. 5. You see, the evidence of Gods holy spirit is evident in JW's, and it is Not their own doing, it is Gods word that must be fulfilled, it is Gods prophesy that must be fulfilled. You guys spite JW's, but simultaneously are working against God. Jehovah is his name, do some research, and I mean honest research. Humble yourselves. "The Great Tribulation" will soon come, just take a look around the wicked and disastrous world for the evidence. And, "unless those days were cut short, no one would live...but on account of the holy ones" they will be cut short. That means, Gods people must also live through that tribulation. The verse goes onto say 'to the glory of God'. Showing that Jesus' appointment to a higher position by God and all creation acknowledging it, was to God's glory. Not to Jesus' glory. That Jesus is Lord over his followers lives is all over the NT. However, Jesus being God is not. Paul wrote clearly differentiating God from Jesus in the lives of True Christians. Twisting and doing what not to some scripture cannot override and nullify this TRUTH. Jesus was SEEN. The Trinity was a RCC concept. People who believe in it should be Roman Catholics. Breaking away and yet borrowing the RCC false teachings won't make it different.

Some friends of mine introduced Quran to me years ago and I read it and some parts had confused me but your interpretations have me centered more narrowly towards Jesus. You are also helping others to follow message of the Gospels and not the other false religions to true God. Also I encountered a Jehovah’s witness at my door weeks ago and I didn’t know it’s a unitarian religion until recently then you disclosed their fallacious belief from their own translation. Blinded some are.

Additionally, the term “the First [pro’tos, not alpha] and the Last [e’skha·tos, not omega]” occurs at Revelation 1:17, 18 and Revelation 2:8. In these verses, the context shows that the one referred to died and later returned to life. Thus, these verses cannot refer to God because he has never died. (Habakkuk 1:12) However, Jesus died and was resurrected. (Acts 3:13-15) He was the first human to be resurrected to immortal spirit life in heaven, where he now lives “forever and ever.” (Revelation 1:18; Colossians 1:18) Jesus is the one who performs all resurrections thereafter. (John 6:40, 44) Therefore, he was the last one to be resurrected directly by Jehovah. JWs wouldn't be deterred. They are sent out by God to witness (Matthew 24:14). Not to argue or convert. They would know what the churches teach. Many were one members of those churches until God set them free (John 8:32). Ezekiel 2:7 You must speak my words to them, whether they listen OR NOT, for they are a rebellious people.
Great way of presenting the truth about Jesus being the Judge that is to come. I looked up 2 Cor 5:10 in their NWT translation. Followers of this false god will have to face the judgment seat of Christ and to give an account. I always thought pointing JW to John 1:1 and their false translation was the best starting point to share the true Gospel. This is a better way! Thanks brother.

What is important to realize is that scripture confirms it by identifying Gods attributes and His actions. These multiple scriptures quoted in the video has proven it it me. If a JW knocks on your door. Immediately ask for their Bible and ask them to bear with you. Go to Revelation 1:8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End says the Lord, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty". Then ask them who is this talking about? They will say God. Then take them to Rev 22:13 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last" and ask them who is this talking about? They will say God. Then take them to Rev 1:17 - 18 "...do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last, I am He who lives, AND WAS DEAD... wait what??? When did God die?? They are stumped. Their go to answer is either, " I have never seen it" or they will make up an excuse why they must leave. Only ever had on JW said, she doesn't know and she will go find out and come back. That was like 10 years ago. Never seen a JW at my door again.
First show them Rev 1:1 which clearly shows that Jesus was NOT God. Jesus had no idea what the future held. God does. That is why God GAVE Jesus the Revelation. Then explain to the JW how someone who was NOT God at the beginning of Revelation suddenly managed to become God later. That should stump them.

Yahweh "created me" according to the Septuagint. The context of prov 8 dictates the correct understanding and translation. Jesus prophetically spoken of as wisdom is described as been born or "brought forth as with labour pains" hence many translations even tritiarian ones favour the more accurate rendering of created or formed even tho it doesn't help their cause.

For years, I have somehow been around them. Even though I completely disagree with much of their beliefs, I really wish Christians would go door to door more. Not for glory, not fame, but a desire to save people from bandage with their testimony and planting that seed in them. I lost my mama back in 2010. I received a condolence letter from someone in South Carolina. This is where my mama was from. I didn't recognize the writing but figured it was someone older. So, I opened it. To my surprise, it was a JW writing to me about my mother's passing! I couldn't tell you what it said. I saw red. I felt violated because this person may have thought she was trying to save me, but it made me feel disgusted by it. I am older and a little more humble now. I really can't stop people from doing things. I should have prayed for that woman. I should be praying for her now. Thank you for giving us helpful tools to speak to them.

Before you get to Rev 20,13 you can bring in Rev 1,8 “I am the Alʹpha and the O·meʹga,”* says Jehovah* God, “the One who is and who was and who is coming, the Almighty.” (NWT). So it is even clearer
Start with Rev 1. Verse 8 says he is “the one who is and who was and is coming.” Now back peddle and read 4-5. What do we see? It speaks of the one who is and was and is coming and then it says AND Jesus Christ. What does that make us think?
@ScottJackson. Granted, there are bible translations out there that actually insert Jesus as I said previously. It is not there in Greek. Some translations like the King James Version have the text in red in their red letter editions. And because of this it may appear it is speaking about Jesus here even more so. But does it? In examining Revelation 22 verses 12 and 13 we find a reference to Isaiah 40 verse 10 that proves to be extremely enlightening. Looking to this text we find a clear parallel to Revelation 22 verse 12, which we find fulfilled in Revelation 22. In Isaiah 40 verse 10, "Behold, the Lord Jehovah will come as a mighty one, and his arm will rule for him: Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him." This text is extremely significant, for it can be in reference to none other than the Father. The text speaks of Jehovah and "his arm" a reference to God's power, which the Messiah is identified as. 1 Corinthians 1 verse 24. So we see that it is the Messiah, Isaiah 53 verse 1, who of course is his Son that is ruling for him. 1 Corinthians 15 verse 27. This in itself is not conclusive for showing that the speaker of Revelation 22 verses 12 and 13 is not Jesus, but this is only the first line of evidence. The second line of evidence comes in noting that God the Father finds himself identified as "the Alpha and Omega" shortly prior to the passage in question, at Revelation 21:6. That this is the Father can be determined by two clear points. First, the speaker is identified as "the one sitting on the throne," which is a reference used exclusively for the Father (Revelation 4:9; 5:1; 6:16). Second, we observe that verse 7 speaks of ones being the speaker's "son," which men are never spoken of as in relation to Christ. Rather, they are deemed Christ's brothers (John 20:17). In fact, this text alludes back to the terminology used of the Father to Solomon (2 Samuel 7:14) and later to Christ himself (Hebrews 1:5). Next we note that Revelation 22:16 seems to introduce Christ as speaking, eliminating the possibility of him being the speaker in the previous verses. Looking to verse 16 we find that Christ begins speaking with the words "I, Jesus." This first person pronoun, proper name construction is used but only three times in the book of Revelation, the other two being for John himself. The first occurrence of this construction is found in Revelation 1:9. Here John uses it to introduce a speaker change. In verse 8 we noted that the Father had been speaking and 9 finds John introducing himself to indicate that it is no longer God but he who is speaking. We find a similar occurrence then in Revelation 22:8, just a few verses prior to 22:16, also pointing to a speaker change. While it is admittedly true that only two other occurrences are not a significant number, the fact that John makes use of this in such close proximity to Jesus' own use of the expression is telling.

There are several speakers in rev 22, many scholars agree that it is difficult to know who speaks when. Revelation 1:18 clearly says that Jehovah God is the Alpha and Omega. Now, if you want to play this game, tell me who YWHW refers to in the Bible? Once you answer me I’ll demolish the doctrine of Trinity, which by the way was adopted by the same people who adopted all other pagan doctrines, traditions and celebrations in the 3rd and 4th century AD including the doctrine of Trinity which the first century Christian’s never believed in order to unify the Roman Catholic empire. What you are postulating is that God is three entirely separate beings when God is one essence represented in three persons thus making Him omnipresent. I suggest you get an understanding of scripture before quoting scripture. 1. John 1:1-3: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made." 2. John 1:14: "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." 3. Revelation 19:13: "He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God." These verses highlight the concept that Jesus is the Word of God who existed from the beginning and took on human form to dwell among us. Jesus is described as being with God and being God Himself, and through Him, all things were created. The verse in Revelation emphasizes Jesus' identity as the Word of God.

You have to look at where else the word is used and the context it’s being used. The word Elohim is used for God, but also to mean “heavenly beings/gods”. Look to Psalm 82 to see it used in both contexts and the difference in how the word is written. In John 10, Jesus is calling himself a heavenly being of God’s divine congregation as in Psalm 82.

The expression "the first and the last" also appears in Revelation 1:17, 18 and 2:8 . But here the Greek words prọ̄tos and ẹschatos are used , not alpha and omega. In these verses, the context shows that the one in question died and then came back to life. Here, then, it cannot be about God, because he can never die. ( Habakkuk 1:12 ) Jesus, on the other hand, died and was resurrected. ( Acts 3:13-15 ) He was the first to be raised to immortal life as a spirit being in heaven, and there he now lives in "eternity of ages." Our founder is Jesus, not Russell. I’m not sure what Russell meant in that short quote. But he could have meant that we pray to God and address him through Jesus. But the opinion of Russell ~100 years ago is not really relevant to us. He had all kinds of interesting ideas that we don't agree with. We follow the direction of our founder when it comes to prayer. And he was pretty clear. "Jesus urged his listeners to pray. He said: “Pray to your Father.” He also reassured them by saying: “Your Father knows what you need even before you ask him.” (Matthew 6:6, 8) On his final night as a human, Jesus told his disciples: “If you ask the Father for anything, he will give it to you in my name.” (John 16:23)" And as for worship most have a western view or PROSKUNEO instead of a biblical one. He said this in a roundabout kind of way by showing that he is equal to God, for this reason on several occassions the Jews tried to stone him. I think the greatest refutation of JW’s is by using their own fake translation of John 1:1. The NWT Has it as: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a God” So by their own fake translation, either they are worshipping two Gods making them polytheists which is blasphemous, or they will have to admit that the Word (Christ) is fully God. The use of "god" here referring to Jesus is not saying he was a God equal to Jehovah. Rather implying he was of a "Godly nature". We see another example of this in: - Psalms 82:1
Fake translations defy logic. The Word was WITH God and also WAS God doesn't sound logical. Ref John 1:1. I cannot be WITH my mother and also be my mother. Plus, WAS God shows a past event. Jesus lost his godship somehow by that translation. Just as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him who sent me. God and Jesus are both said to be coming quickly together. Rev 1: 4-5 ; 7-8. God and Jesus are both said to be Judging 2 Timothy 4:1. I’ve used Rev 22:13 before on JWs. Once I was told that it was Jehovah speaking in 13. They said it changed voices before and after 13, only 13 was Jehovah speaking, no context, no logic, nothing, just going by what they’ve been told without thinking. The people who act like that are very hardened in their heart. Another group of JWs admitted it’s Jesus speaking in verse 13, but said that all those titles, Alpha and Omega, First and Last, Beginning and End, all refer to the resurrection. They said Jesus is saying He is the first one resurrected by Jehovah and last one, the Alpha resurrection and Omega resurrection, Beginning of resurrection and end. Again, no context, no logic, no real thought, just them trying to make sense of Jesus being called titles that only YHWH is called. They say the titles don’t mean the same thing for Jehovah and for Jesus, but have nothing to support this egregious nonsense. Keep in mind I normally ask if there’s two Alpha and Omega, two First and Last, two Beginning and End, before I get into the scriptures. They say no, there’s only one, Jehovah, then I take them to the scriptures to show Jesus is those titles.
I’m only sharing this so you are ready for some of the responses you might get. Using any logic or reason you will see these responses are nonsensical. But it’s typically how they respond to a huge problem like this.

It could be talking about the father, El, and his son, Yahweh, as described in Deuteronomy. It's in the Septuagint, so as a Jew, Jesus would have known that Yeshuah was the Son, and El was the Father.

(John 4:32, 34). There are TOO many, too many Scriptures identifying it is God, Jehovah (that enunciation has been made clear more recently as accurate, not Yahweh). Gods name appears close to seven thousand times in the Hebrew Scriptures, all in praiseworthy ways. God is first. Jesus is second, as he is Gods only begotten son. Jesus put God first, so did his followers (1 Cor 11:3). But the first Christians' job was to make the ransom believable and so Jesus was mentioned many times, but they never ignored that God was the reason for life. JW's acknowledge Jesus' Memorial is the most important gathering day of the year, and every prayer is in Jesus' name. 2. "own material." First century Christians, the first Christians, didn't only quote Jesus nor the Hebrew Scriptures, but they use illustrations, parables, examples, the power of reason, to reach and find those with the right heart condition (Phi 4:5; Titus 3:2; Jam 3:17; Acts 17:2 and many more). Since today's Christians can't add more books to the Bible, REASON says to follow the path of Jesus's disciples and Reason with everyone, and with themselves, "from the Scripture," as they did from Jesus and the Hebrew Scriptures. I don't mean any offense, I I wont use belittling words, but as you guys went about Rev 21:22-24, where is your power of reason? It is very clear the Lamb and God are two separate beings working together. :22 states God and the Lamb are the temple but it says ALSO the Lamb is (two separate beings), much the same as a CEO and a GM are both the same in goal and purpose but are two different beings. "The glory of God illuminated it..." Is it really not clear to you guys that it is Gods power and glory that has given the Lamb his light, since all authority in all creation (God was not created so he can't be under this authority) was GIVEN to Jesus? First century Christians (as I said above also somewhat into the second) did not posses any idols to assist them in prayer nor for any reason, they prayed Only to God (not to saints or angels) and in Jesus' name, they abstained from blood, they remained neutral politically and never supported war in any way, they did NOT believe Jesus was God (unless you twist Gods word and stick with false traditions) and made it clear (Philippians 2:6; Col 1:5; Heb 1:3; John 1:4 and throughout all the Christian Scriptures), and in in the face of powerful apposition they kept preaching the good news of Gods kingdom. They were hated, persecuted and tortured for their beliefs, for their righteous acts ("faith without works is dead" stated James). They were ALL unified throughout the Roman empire where they had built/made/settled congregations. 5. You see, the evidence of Gods holy spirit is evident in JW's, and it is Not their own doing, it is Gods word that must be fulfilled, it is Gods prophesy that must be fulfilled. You guys spite JW's, but simultaneously are working against God. Jehovah is his name, do some research, and I mean honest research. Humble yourselves. "The Great Tribulation" will soon come, just take a look around the wicked and disastrous world for the evidence. And, "unless those days were cut short, no one would live...but on account of the holy ones" they will be cut short. That means, Gods people must also live through that tribulation. JWs wouldn't be deterred. They are sent out by God to witness (Matthew 24:14). Not to argue or convert. They would know what the churches teach. Many were one members of those churches until God set them free (John 8:32).

Great way of presenting the truth about Jesus being the Judge that is to come. I looked up 2 Cor 5:10 in their NWT translation. Followers of this false god will have to face the judgment seat of Christ and to give an account. Then take them to Rev 1:17 - 18 "...do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last, I am He who lives, AND WAS DEAD... wait what??? When did God die?? They are stumped. Their go to answer is either, " I have never seen it" or they will make up an excuse why they must leave. Only ever had on JW said, she doesn't know and she will go find out and come back. That was like 10 years ago. Never seen a JW at my door again.
First show them Rev 1:1 which clearly shows that Jesus was NOT God. Jesus had no idea what the future held. God does. That is why God GAVE Jesus the Revelation. Then explain to the JW how someone who was NOT God at the beginning of Revelation suddenly managed to become God later.

For years, I have somehow been around them. Even though I completely disagree with much of their beliefs, I really wish Christians would go door to door more. Not for glory, not fame, but a desire to save people from bandage with their testimony and planting that seed in them.
I lost my mama back in 2010. I received a condolence letter from someone in South Carolina. This is where my mama was from. I didn't recognize the writing but figured it was someone older. So, I opened it. To my surprise, it was a JW writing to me about my mother's passing! I couldn't tell you what it said. I saw red. I felt violated because this person may have thought she was trying to save me, but it made me feel disgusted by it.
I am older and a little more humble now. I really can't stop people from doing things. I should have prayed for that woman. I should be praying for her now.

Before you get to Rev 20,13 you can bring in Rev 1,8 “I am the Alʹpha and the O·meʹga,”* says Jehovah* God, “the One who is and who was and who is coming, the Almighty.” (NWT).
So it is even clearer
Start with Rev 1. Verse 8 says he is “the one who is and who was and is coming.” Now back peddle and read 4-5. What do we see? It speaks of the one who is and was and is coming and then it says AND Jesus Christ. What does that make us think?
@ScottJackson. Granted, there are bible translations out there that actually insert Jesus as I said previously. It is not there in Greek. Some translations like the King James Version have the text in red in their red letter editions. And because of this it may appear it is speaking about Jesus here even more so. But does it? In examining Revelation 22 verses 12 and 13 we find a reference to Isaiah 40 verse 10 that proves to be extremely enlightening. Looking to this text we find a clear parallel to Revelation 22 verse 12, which we find fulfilled in Revelation 22.
In Isaiah 40 verse 10, "Behold, the Lord Jehovah will come as a mighty one, and his arm will rule for him: Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him." This text is extremely significant, for it can be in reference to none other than the Father. The text speaks of Jehovah and "his arm" a reference to God's power, which the Messiah is identified as. 1 Corinthians 1 verse 24. So we see that it is the Messiah, Isaiah 53 verse 1, who of course is his Son that is ruling for him. 1 Corinthians 15 verse 27. This in itself is not conclusive for showing that the speaker of Revelation 22 verses 12 and 13 is not Jesus, but this is only the first line of evidence.
The second line of evidence comes in noting that God the Father finds himself identified as "the Alpha and Omega" shortly prior to the passage in question, at Revelation 21:6. That this is the Father can be determined by two clear points. First, the speaker is identified as "the one sitting on the throne," which is a reference used exclusively for the Father (Revelation 4:9; 5:1; 6:16). Second, we observe that verse 7 speaks of ones being the speaker's "son," which men are never spoken of as in relation to Christ. Rather, they are deemed Christ's brothers (John 20:17). In fact, this text alludes back to the terminology used of the Father to Solomon (2 Samuel 7:14) and later to Christ himself (Hebrews 1:5).
Next we note that Revelation 22:16 seems to introduce Christ as speaking, eliminating the possibility of him being the speaker in the previous verses. Looking to verse 16 we find that Christ begins speaking with the words "I, Jesus." This first person pronoun, proper name construction is used but only three times in the book of Revelation, the other two being for John himself. The first occurrence of this construction is found in Revelation 1:9. Here John uses it to introduce a speaker change. In verse 8 we noted that the Father had been speaking and 9 finds John introducing himself to indicate that it is no longer God but he who is speaking. We find a similar occurrence then in Revelation 22:8, just a few verses prior to 22:16, also pointing to a speaker change. While it is admittedly true that only two other occurrences are not a significant number, the fact that John makes use of this in such close proximity to Jesus' own use of the expression is telling.

You have to look at where else the word is used and the context it’s being used. The word Elohim is used for God, but also to mean “heavenly beings/gods”. Look to Psalm 82 to see it used in both contexts and the difference in how the word is written. In John 10, Jesus is calling himself a heavenly being of God’s divine congregation as in Psalm 82.

The expression "the first and the last" also appears in Revelation 1:17, 18 and 2:8 . But here the Greek words prọ̄tos and ẹschatos are used , not alpha and omega. In these verses, the context shows that the one in question died and then came back to life. Here, then, it cannot be about God, because he can never die. ( Habakkuk 1:12 ) Jesus, on the other hand, died and was resurrected. ( Acts 3:13-15 ) He was the first to be raised to immortal life as a spirit being in heaven, and there he now lives in "eternity of ages." ( Revelation 1:18; Colossians 1:18 ) All who were raised after Jesus were raised through him. ( John 6:40, 44 ) Therefore, he was the last to be resurrected directly by Jehovah. ( Acts 10:40 ) So in this respect Jesus can be called "the first and the last".

In the 1950's, Watchtower changed it's teachings regarding Jesus. This coincided with the release of it's own Bible translation, the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. Contrary to most translations, the New World Translation translated the word proskuneō as obeisance rather than worship whenever it referred to Jesus. This is despite translating proskuneō as worship for almost every other occurrence.
Proskuneō occurs 60 times in the Greek Scriptures. Of the 17 times it applies to Jesus, all 17 occurrences were translated by the New World Translation as obeisance. (In the 2013 revision, 2 of these times have been changed to "bow".) The only other instance where prokuneō is translated as 'obeisance' is when Cornelius bows to Peter. (Worship would be correct here as well. Peter interprets this act as a form of worship, as he rejects it immediately.) Our founder is Jesus, not Russell. I’m not sure what Russell meant in that short quote. But he could have meant that we pray to God and address him through Jesus. But the opinion of Russell ~100 years ago is not really relevant to us. He had all kinds of interesting ideas that we don't agree with.

The question is, who is really speaking in Revelation 22:12 and 13? Many say it is Jesus, and if you have a red-letter Bible, these words will be in red. But is this the truth?
In the very first chapter, it is clear who the Alpha and Omega is. (Revelation 1:8) "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says Jehovah [Lord] God, "the One who is and who was and who is coming, the Almighty."
So, in the very first chapter, we learn that it is the Lord God or Jehovah who is the Alpha and Omega and not Jesus.
(Revelation 21:5, 6) "And the One seated on the throne said, 'Look! I am making all things new.' Also, he says, 'Write, for these words are faithful and true.' And he said to me, 'They have come to pass! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. . . .'" Again, in chapter 21, we are told that it is God, the One seated upon the throne, who is the Alpha and the Omega.
Therefore, the correct understanding of who is speaking in Revelation 22:12 and 13 is Jehovah, the Lord God, and not Jesus. How does God come quickly? The same way he came in the first century.
(Matthew 21:9) "'Save, we pray, the Son of David! Blessed is the one who comes in Jehovah's name! Save him, we pray, in the heights above!'" Jesus, God's anointed King, comes in his God's name to do God's will.

(Acts 3:13-15) He was the first human to be resurrected to immortal spirit life in heaven, where he now lives “forever and ever.” (Revelation 1:18; Colossians 1:18) Jesus is the one who performs all resurrections thereafter. (John 6:40, 44) Therefore, he was the last one to be resurrected directly by Jehovah. (Acts 10:40) In this sense, Jesus can properly be called “the First and the Last.”

There are three speakers in Revelation 1:8-20:

Jesus Christ: The description in verses 11-16 matches descriptions of Jesus elsewhere in the New Testament.
The details about his appearance and his words in verses 17-18 ("I am the First and the Last... I became dead, but look! I am living forever and ever") confirm that it is Jesus speaking.

John the apostle: verse 12 to 16 John describes Jesus appearance.

To help you with your prayers, you need to pray for their salvation in context. Believing that Yeshua is The Lord Jehovah the Son isn't the Gospel. The Gospel is that Yeshua died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins and through His Death, Burial and ressurection unto eternal life for the forgiveness of your sins you have been forgiven.
If anyone believes that by conviction through Spiritual Baptism they will clearly see that Christ is God The Second person of The Triune Godhead.

HEN is one in purpose, will, work, activity. Not same being.

Very good biblical content. Esp the Trinity references. They will say Jesus never said he was God. I refer them to Jesus' response to the religious leaders, " Before Abraham was I am" But calling them Satanic perverts vs initiating dialogue on the doorstep will not win anyone.
