That's exactly what I want here in Portugal ...not a lot of C & R here, the waters are clear, so the few big ones are very wary. And I can get Z-man stuff here!! 👍
Nice! I watched the World Bass Fishing Championships this year, and WOW. Portugal had some nice bass! Looked like they were very smart in those deeper clear waters. You need something when the topwater and jerkbait game isn't firing. This technique could work.
It's going to. Started fishing the free rig in the fall and have put in a lot of time learning what it can do ... ...it's so versatile!!!.. my favorite bait is baby brush hogs...great search bait...hop it hard, drag it like a jig, better than a drop shot in wood cover, bite is like a mojo c-rig, slow-roll crankbait it...even finesse small creature baits on spinning gear...I just ordered two packs of the razor shad!! ...@@BrianGaberFishing
You are welcome. I use Reaction Tackle's skinny tie on drop shot weight for rocky situations. It hangs up less. Then for near brush I'll use Woo Tungsten's tear drop tie on drop shot weight. In both cases the line tie rotates. The tear drop shape are made in heavier weights and stay in place better.
Ok....now you need to take this video down! Wow ....this technique is INSANE. In open water, hopping/dragging parallel to shore on a long cast ....as soon as it's near a bed ...they can't resist it. I had one follow it from a bed, then a second one as it approached and they both rushed it! I got the one, then a few minutes later the other one. I fish a small lake with weeds and hydrilla lining the banks - they bed up in there but sometimes they just won't hit a pitched bait ....rigged on braid, this sits there...that rise and fall gets 'em!!!!
Great tips I have both those razer shad colors just ordered free rig weights on Amazon can't wait to try it thanks
Excellent! Thanks. Let me know how you do
