Bruhhh this is calming to watch plus the music makes it tranquil. I like the quality of this video. I got the basic Kindle on August 28, 2022 and I’m happy with it I got it in white. Kindles are beautiful, light, and compact.
My kindle comes in 4 days (the same day as my birthday 🥳) so I’m literally radiating excitement. I have waited for this kindle for so long and finally it’s on its way!!!!
How odd.. I got my Kindle (same model) a few years ago as did my roommate who got a more expensive one and we didn't get charging cables with ours.. glad to see they are supplying them now.
Hello, thank you for your clear review. I can even hear the sound of screen swiping, did ai misheard it? Or it's just an edited sound effect? The screen is textured? Is it on the paperwhite version only or the basic kindle also has it?
it’s not an edited sound! the screen has a matte texture, so it makes a nice sound which you can hear (if it’s quiet) when you swipe it 😊 i’m not quite sure about the basic kindle because i only have the paper white!
hello, i actually had a screen protector come free so i put it on! but i took it off after a week because i just didn’t like the look or the feel :o the original screen is beautiful to look at and touch, while i’m afraid to scratch it, i think it’s a worthy risk to take! ☺️ i haven’t put on another screen protector since and i haven’t had a scratch on my screen either even tho i bring it out quite a fair bit in my big bag with lotsa other stuff!
yes it is! other than the fact that it’s a living dust magnet and not offered in white, i love my kindle to bits!!😍 it really encourages me to read, and allows me to do so snuggled up in bed in the dark before i sleep (which i couldn’t do before with physical books). I also really enjoy hoarding less books and ‘collecting’ them in a more eco-friendly way!
@@sqtgc Keep wifi off, it drains a lot of battery . Also, turning on Data will deplete you battery like crazy. In general flight mode will save a lot of juice. I came from reddit btw.🙂

Good video, but why are these devices so slow!!! Too slow... A friend gave me an old one before and I didn't have the patience for it. Every click is so long .. but I saw a few other devices that are a lot faster now. I would just spend the extra money for a faster one. Also, there are other devices now that do more than just reading with this type of display. Taking s pen notes, browsing the web, even watching videos. And they are even in color now. The onyx boox nova 3 is one example, then the TCL nxtpaper and that type of reflective display. but there are others. Kindle is way behind. Every time I use it, it just frustrates me and makes me want so much more from a device. I end up just reading on my iPad or phone, which is sad.
it stood out to me the first time i used it, i was tapping so fast it wasn’t registering some of the taps, but i kind of got used to it and even like it a little now😅 it feels more like a book and less like an iPad for me i guess? but i totally feel you on how slow the kindles are🙌🏻 i’ll look into the newer devices!! thanks for the recommendation
kindles were made merely for reading, that’s why you cant use it like an ipad/tablet and browse the web or watch videos. a kindle minimizes distractions since it’s a gadget for the sole purpose of reading. im pretty sure most people who buy kindles are very much aware of that and want its simplicity in functionality for more motivation and less distractions while reading.

Hi! How many times did you have to charge it if youve read 10 books in 2 weeks?
at light 15 setting in the day and 8 at night, wifi on most of the time, reading about 6 hours a day i charge every 2 to 3 days :)
