Before you measure the distance from the concrete slab. You need to shoot the slab with a transit to check the slab. The slab is going to not be level. We had pads we used in our shop that were level points. You really need a frame table, a slab of steel
you have a great piece at a great price , i have mustangs but i would like to do something like this to my 1961 falcon , would the 65 mustang one possibly fit ? thanks mike
Wow real nice work, I'm glad I found your page, got a question, is the front frame rails level to the rocker panels. I have my front frame rails out and have levels on my rocker panels, should I level the frame rails with the rockers. Thanks Tom
I like the product. I have a 66 Fairlane. By chance will this subframe kit work on it? If not, do you know of anyone that makes a comparable kit for the Fairlane?
This is Rich Smith former founder and owner of Mustangs to Fear, Michele and I sold MTF last August and will no longer be answering questions. That's up to the new owner now. We started a new company called Patriot Classic 4x4 building and producing parts for the 66-77 Bronco.
Since we've never done one, the best we could do would be to furnish you with the pedestals that we use for the motor mounts. You would have to make them fit your motor.
Correct me if I am wrong, but you are removing the front floor supports on both sides before installing the sub frame correct? The sub frame is taking the place of the floor supports.
He is relying on his shop floor being level which it is not I have done some concert work the slabs are not completely level over the length of the car there can be a qarter of a inch or more depending on the age how well the poor was he should have used a actual level or a chassis table a small patch that works not on the hole car and the sound have been cross bracing before the old floor was removed he is tacking short cuts lots of shops do that hacks
If they are measuring from the same place on the shop floor where they measured before removing the original frame rails the measurements would be the same even if the concert floor was a dirt floor. Any dope can pour concert but not all dopes can weld in a neat high tech frame rails on an old Mustang
George Humphrey said it correct. But I need to add. If the car is 100 % straight when you start and you don't move the vehicle from where you start then when you are complete and use the exact locations for your measurements you'll be fine. My "Fear" is my 50 yr old car that has had some damage isn't perfect when I start.
Choose the correct areas of the card, use a spirit level, you don't have to write anything down, that I would probably loose, anyway. Almost to the end of the clip, and haven't seen anything relating to the word "fear", that is in the title. Expected some dire warnings to take into account on these model years.

I'd love to see this done on a complete car
There are pics on our website.
assuming the floor is level within 1/4".
I am really liking this set up!! Will this still allow me to put a 4 link in the back without causing any issues?
It's no problem.
Another question. Can I use the stock fender aprons with this?
@@kennethgilmore5269 You need to take out the shock towers and put in our shock tower cover or use our full engine panels.

Sorry it won't fit.
Hi Guys. Could you still add the torque boxes after the subframe is back in? thanks.

Is it possible to install (convert) the rear/roof of a 1969 fastback frame into a 1967 coupe? Not sure if it’s the same chassis
It is a different body
Is it possible to order this with LSX engine mounts? That's a ridiculously nice setup!

How much does your full sub-frame and front suspension cost?
I have a 68 GT 390 convertible BTW
Call them. Or check their website
Will it fit a 63 falcon
Where is the cross bracing?? You're relying on that floor to be leveled
hi ,, when will you guys upload the engine comparment panels video
Ali Abbas
that's one of our next video's to do.

Brannon Gragg. Yes it is.
Ever considered making a full frame?
We now have a brand new Watt Link with rear rails. Installed with our sub-frame this will almost make a full frame.
Unless you're using mandrel bent 2x4 tubing front to back, you really can't consider
attaching the Watts link to the front subframe, a full frame.
How much

Actually our floor is perfectly level, but we still always use a level. You must be horrible at your concrete work.

Fear people like you commenting on the video
Could you possibly be that dumb, that the name of the company is Mustangs To Fear 😂
