I felt you on the freestyle nails! I am a press-on nail artist and most of the types of sets I wanna do which is hand-painted nail art people aren't as interested in. Most people want french, marbles, or whatever style is currently trending. I appreciate it when I do get customers who want a freestyle set.
Your placement of gems, charms, and crystals is so amazing. I mean all of your work is amazing but the way you place your add ons just blows my mind.

Venalisa has a pretty nice top coat. I have their tempered top coat, but their regular no wipe top coat is supposed to be pretty good as well. Only other brand that I've tried from amazon, is iMethod Beauty, and it's pretty nice as well.
I just want to say… don’t worry about the way you talk ( saying “um” etc) you are awesome and if someone doesn’t like it … they can move on. There are some people that want to complain about everything… and they are just unhappy people. Keep being you. You are AMAZING. I always use Modelones topcoat from Amazon and I run through bottles so much to the point where I started ordering 5 bottles at a time lol.
Make sure it's the 15ml bottles. Mine last for a month or 2 depending on the amount of nails

@@Brianasharay congratulations girl cause business is slow for me. 😆 I still created nails no matter what tho randomly. They eventually sell. Mainly older women buy mine and they want short/medium when I love decorating long nails

idk why anytime i’ve used their top coat it makes my nails so foggy :/ i use morovan top & base my absolute fav , for matte i use beetles. sooo velvety and pretty

Beetles has been my go to top coat. Its a bit thick so I feel like I run out a bot faster but since its only $6 on amazon and I can get it in a few days I just stick with their brand of top coat and base coat. I like Igel as well but I do not like how long shipping is.
Aimelei and modelones are pretty solid; you can also restock your beetles & Makartt topcoats on prime in a pinch

Hello! These greens are😍 ugh....I agree with unique nails! I watch marketing ppl and they say find your niche, so that's why I don't do trending, and keep to designing what I like ( especially cuz I always get compliments on my own nails) but it's hard.😭 I have a custom set biz, 10 pcs, but I'm really thinking to try and do 20pcs one day soon.🤔 I don't cuz, I don't want to have them just throw away the nails that don't fit (since we hand paint, its still work😩)plus to differentiate from box store nails. Anywho, you always come through with helpful tips so thanks for what you do! Oh, I have those rock/crystals too and NEVER use😆

Hi Val, I have recently discovered you and love your posts, and you have given me the inspiration to follow my dream of doing press on nails, you asked which top coats we recommended, I personally would recommend WobBao Nails for all nail products, their top goats are so shiny and last a life time, their gel polishes are to die for, they are so pigmented you generally only need one coat, their products are such great value and would highly recommend trying them if you want professional well made products xx
The details you shared on sizing and the designs you choose for a 20 piece set and why is EXACTLY what I was looking for Val. I want to do the 20 piece sets because the custom sizing method just stresses me out too much. Thank you for the information! I wasn’t sure how to ensure everyone gets a decent set out of a 20 piece set.

Hey mamas! I hope you’re doing well 💖. Love the designs you come up with. Yes! I like doing freestyle designs and abstract line art but most don’t like those designs. So I get where you’re coming from trying to target an audience that likes what you love to create.
I have a question, where do you get your boxes from? I’m thinking of switching to boxes to put my press ons in but the ones I see on Amazon only come in a 25 pack. I’d appreciate any suggestions you may have. 😊

Maybe change up the tags on your insta post something like #extranails or even #trendynails to get people to atleast view your page to see what you offer. Also I like modelones but I’m not obsessed I feel like it catches marks from random things really easily. I recently ordered not polish gloss it and I like it so far. Also beautiful set the all green is different and can be scary but I think you pulled it off well.
I can’t buy 20 piece sets because either they don’t go small enough or I don’t have enough of the correct sizes and a lot of times the designs will be on the nails that don’t fit me
Yes in that case it would be best for you to do a custom order
I would suggest you use ads for your freestyle sets so you can reach a larger audience and people who like them will gravitate towards you much easier
How do you remove the sticky feeling from the gel polish
