Meat Loaf has been my favorite artist since I was 9 years old, 26 years ago. That was when I first heard "I'd Do Anything For Love". Everyone else was listening to BSB and I was blasting "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights". He had some hard times and so many health issues but despite it all he really left his mark. I'm so happy I saw him in concert in 2016. His voice wasn't as strong any more but he was still iconic and he put on one helluva show. Rest easy Meat. ❤🦇
Wow I'm jealous, you really saw him in concert live? I only saw him on tv your so lucky.
I was 14 yeara old when I heard and seen the video I would do anything for love. It's my favorite.
@@quadirbrown3800 I live in Newfoundland and I flew to Ottawa to see him. I had a feeling with his health history that he would retire soon.
@@chrissimpson6701 It's so good. The best.
Remembering A Legend - Super Bowl Rockin' Meatloaf tribute ua-cam.com/video/jzpwZddcf6Y/v-deo.html
I first heard about Meat Loaf in 1993 when “Bat Out of Hell II” came out. I was immediately hooked by “I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That), and when I bought the CD, I found the entire album a thrilling, wonderful odyssey that I couldn’t stop listening to. His music was part of the soundtrack of my young life, and it still resonates with me today.
When I heard that he had passed away, my instinct was to play my personal favorite Meat Loaf song, “Where Angels Sing”. I’m listening to it right now and the lyrics are hitting me hard, thinking of him and his entrance into eternity.
Meat Loaf, I pray that you are now in paradise, and it is everything you hoped it was and infinitely more, a place…
“Where time means nothing,
No hustle, no one rushing,
No dark of night, no hate or spite,
No wrong or right, no day or night,
No towns and no cities, no pain and no pity,
Where hunger is no longer,
And a good man just gets stronger.”
May you rest in the eternal peace of Paradise where angels sing forevermore, Marvin Lee “Meat Loaf” Aday, and from the bottom of all our hearts, we thank you.

One word: "Legendary"
He was one of my favorite artists of all time. If I could say anything I'd say " thank you for pulling me some of the hardest times of my life, I appreciate it" I hope your in peace wherever that may be. What a legend!!!!! RIP Meatloaf
Reunited with Jim steinman now singing with the angels
...or with the demons. Ya never know, right? RIP gentlemen
@@kchara7078 who knows but yes rip
Yeah jim steinman was the beating heart of all meats work. The best songwriter for me. Total Eclipse of the heart was huge. And the under rated Pandoras box was good. And his work on streets of fire Album. Air supply. Celine dion. Andrew Lloyd Webber. Sisters of mercy. Take that.
This song and "two Out of Three Ain't Bad" were my favorites!! Such a voice! RIP Meatloaf!
Those lyrics help me get past those roadblocks I've encounter. Thank you! Mr. Meatloaf....
one of my streamer friends had this story posted in his discord and i didn't want to believe it but Dang, R.I.P Great Singer Legend in every word Thank You Meatloaf For The Awesome Music And Your Talent.
N95 MASK SMOTHERED HIM TO DEATH
God be with you and family RIP

Thanks GMA, that was a real deep dive and personal...why did you even bother, you numpties...? He defied all the Rock Star stereotypes, from Dallas, overweight, ex-football player, talked like an average man, connected on a personal level with his fans, really loved his fans and was sincerely appreciative! RIP Dude ++++
That laughter at the end. Was that really fkn necessary? Disrespectful as hell
@@michelewalburn4376 Who TF are you talking to? what fkn laughter, those are crosses...you dumb numpite!
Rest In Peace Meat Loaf. Thank you for your powerful voice and music ❤️🎶
I saw him in October at motor city comic con and was one of the last one to get an autograph for my dad that day. I even got him to sing to me. I might be young but I loved his music and he will be missed.
Absolutely heartbreaking 💔 😢 Rest well Meatloaf, you are loved by millions, God has you in his care now.
My heart is broken ! He was so much a part of my life poor so long . May sound dumb but it's true. Love his music.

My hart is broken💔 R.I.P. meatloaf!
I am still in chok. I have been a fan since 1992 and i Adored Meat Loaf ever since..
When i heard that he had died i spend 3 hours driving home because i had to pull over to cry.
He left behind amazing music and deserves The Legend status more than anyone Else.
Here's to a one of a kind rock musician and actor, Marvin Lee Aday, better known to the public eye as Meat Loaf. The guy just sang and performed his heart out at virtually all of this concerts. Plus, he acted well in movies. My condolences to his family members and close friends. Rest in peace Marvin, and I hope to meet you in the afterlife.
Obviously mainly remembered for his Fight Club role in his acting career, but even though it was brief, I liked him playing Jack Black's strict christian dad in "The Pick Of Destiny".
God bless his soul and his family's souls .😪
This is heartbreaking. Meatloaf...May you fly 🕊️ high in peace without pain, only absolute Euphoria & Bliss🙏🏼💙😥

So sad. I really liked him in interviews. God bless his family as they get through this grief. 🙏💕
gran pops rock and roll..never ever ever stop rocking
I once met Meatloaf at his home in my hometown in CT. I repaired appliances at that time and I thought when I knocked on the door that some ghoulish figure from Rocky Horror might open the door and I would see a wild bash of who-knows-what. Of course not. The housekeeper let me in and there he was in the living room with his wife and children all perfectly normal. No drugs, alcohol or half-naked ladies, .... darn it. I didn't say anything about who he was or gush and he was very cordial.
I heard the news of his death on the radio this afternoon and remembered that day instantly. I loved the Rocky Horror Show and his music. We played those tunes over and over back in the day. I was very upset when the radio station made some political comments about his "cause of death" and his "attitude" about the possibility of averting the cause as if they know his entire medical history. They could not wait to exploit his death for their purposes. That is disgusting. He was 74 years old and I'm sure there were other issues at hand. RIP Mr. Aday, I won't forget you.
Agreed 100%. I saw the hermancainaward on reddit and they were trashing and making fun of him. Sickening. What the fuck is wrong with our world today. Can’t even make your own choices for your life without someone hating you cause they believe something different.
@@michaelchiello1946 They have an agenda.
So sad to hear that one of the greatest performer/singer in rock and roll isn't among us anymore.. listened to him when I was in high school and now my daughter's listen to him still to this day I'll always listen never will be sick of his music..RIP you're now singing for the Angels 💜 thanks for your music
Wow his music was really special I would play it loud late at night driving home Rock in heaven prayers for his family Miss him already
Meat loaf you left us ,20 January 2022 so nearly 3 years still miss still listening to your music still wearing your t, shirt s and you will be rocking in heaven eith your friend jim ❤❤
Two Out of Three Ain't Bad. One of my favorite songs and at a very young age I understood the lyrics. He wants and needs her but will never love her and he explains why and never understood why she was so mad. It's not you it's me. I loved once, got heartbroken and can't ever do it again.
heartbroken over his death , rest in peace
There are so many celebrities dying these days that I don’t even feel Meat Loaf is getting all the coverage he deserves to honour his passing.
He will be forever missed by all of his fans around the world and I think it's just a shame that we lost him this year
On your iPod 📱 u need meatloaf. His voice is crystal clear . Get it on iTunes. Rip meatloaf
We wanted you, we needed you, we loved you. Two out of three ant bad Meatloaf. Rest well. 1947-2022. #Devastated
It's really sad that more of these musicians who made real, meaningful music die every year while these talentless "artists" today continue on. BRING BACK ROCK AND ROLL.
A sad, sad, loss. A great talent. He will be sorely missed.
maybe in the next life I will be able to get to one of his concerts. Thanks for your hard work and dedication, Meat! You made a lot of us happy as hell.
Shades of my past youth. RIP
Rest In Peace to Meat Loaf 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️❤️😔😔😔😔😔😔
My heart is broken. He wasn't just a rockstar, or rock legend, but a true ROCK GOD!!! R.I.P 😭❤️😿❤️😇
His music will live on
We lost another great one so sad
34K+ views only?!?! Are you freakin’ serious?!?! This guy is an icon!!! I grew up listening to Meatloaf. What a strong rock operatic voice. Paired with Jim Steinman; quite a magical duo. Bat Out of Hell has got to be one of the top classic albums... God speed Michael. Now, you can join Jim and make beautiful music together again.
Around late 1999, I entered a obsession phase with Meat Loaf. Somewhere on an OLD VHS tape, I have his VH1 movie, 'Meat Loaf: To Hell and Back' and his edition of 'Storytellers' (I think.... could be just a VH1 concert). I think it's time I find the tape and pop the little 'recordable' tab off.
Rip Meat Loaf😥💔🙏😭
We are missing so many this year.
He was a major player on the Soundtrack Of My Life.
Jim. What I love about you is wrote from your heart and not from what everyone says is Rock N Roll. You rewrote Rock N Roll and I thank you. I love this Rock N Roll better. Meat. What I love about you is you wrote songs to see what we got out of it. It makes me feel like you have us your heirloom or something. It's was also like we had a part in writing the song and I thank you. GREATEST DUO EVER. I saw this comment somewhere and I LOVE it. They said: Sweet dreams. I'm using that. But is that too insensitive? I ask that because sweet dreams, sweet dreams means your asleep, asleep is when you're Dead. So is this insensitive? Guys I got OCD and I need someone's opinion because I would like to say sweet dreams in my post of Meat when his birthday comes. Can someone get back to me as soon as you can? Pretty please 🙏
Thank you Meatloaf for an amazing amount of talent....that made our days better just listening to you...the curtain has closed...And I can't help being sad...
I love Meatloaf music. It’s a beautiful music. In beautiful memory of Meatloaf.
I wore out so many bat out of hell albums and cassette tapes. I'm in shock today. Damn.
