I saw David Campbell at Odette’s cabaret in New Hope, PA way back in 1997. I have been a huge fan since. He is a sensational live performer. If you ever have the chance, see him. Plus he is a sweetheart !

Some of the folks commenting here, dissing David C., should know that (although I think he did pretty well here) rock is not really his forte as a singer. He has a beautiful voice and a real way with classic songs, cabaret, musical theater, and such. I'm going to look for his new cd, which apparently has quite a different tone from his song here. I do love the video of him with his dad, singing "You've Lost That Loving Feeling"--great stuff!

David Campbell is doing very well as A Television Presenter on the Morning "9" Show. I like his show, "Great". As for his singing talents, well I'd suggest He sticks to his Day Job. My Wife bought some tickets to see him perform at Souths Juniors. I then suggested that she take a girlfriend along rather than taking me.
It WAS a joke but they genuinely did not know, beforehand, that he was gonna be on the show. This performance stemmed from a behind the scenes story, his morning program he hosted, was doing.

It's pretty clear that David got his amazing singing talent from his father after all his father is none other than Aussie rock legend Jimmy Barnes.
