The blind is always the best, as it reflects the artists (rather than the coach's) choice and real personality
Actually, I believe the blind musicians are mostly the best musicians in the world. They don't have vision of their surroundings to taint what's in their heart, mind and ears. Their pure conception of key is phenomenal. They hit the notes or play the notes with right on key clarity.
I've known blind piano players. One young man had never had classical piano training. His piano education was simply as what key is what letter, what octave. He played unerringly any music score requested of him. Another young blind piano musician, did have fine music conservatory training. He is presently play in Europe in and with various symphonies. He's also soloed there as well. I haven't heard from him in a long time. Suppose he's kept busy.

When a voice can bring you to tears you are witnessing something incredible. Even when singing a foreign language the words don't matter ... I cried through this whole video. Amazing woman.

Her voice is SO well-suited for the 'broken-hearted woman' ballads of the 60s. Simply stunning. I want to hear her sing "I (Who Have Nothing)" and "Love Story (Where Do I Begin?)" and "Je Ne Regrette Rien" ... basically I could listen to Ms. Erkinheimo anything and everything all day.
She is magnificent.
She just grabs your soul.

I watch this video of Sussu's performances on The Voice of Finland at least twice a day. When I first came across her audition about a month ago, it was like; one of those moments in time....Sussu's unique voice....it transported me back to 1978, to when I was a teenager and heard the unique Kate Bush for the first time singing "Wuthering Heights" and became an instant fan. Now I am in my early 60's I have become a new fan of Sussu, her voice is pure gold, and like Kate Bush, she has stage presence, it's kind of hypnotic. It draws you in, you listen to every single word she sings and her interpretation of each song is special. Please, Please, Please....DO NOT let this young lady 'fall through the cracks' and forgotten about after a few months, she deserves to become a world wide artist and I look forward to Sussu's new album.

Sussu Erkinheimo is utterly magical and why isn't it already super famous.
At the beginning she reminded me of the beloved Cilla Black, who was a fabulous belter, great power at the top and a vibrato that extracted huge excitement from those great tune we associate her with. Then Sussu sings You're My World and makes it her own. Wow. What a talent.

Did you know, that singer Vera Lynn who sang the original song 'It hurts to say goodbye' in 1967 died 18th of June 2020 and she was 103 y.o. By the time of her death in 2020 she had been active in the music industry for 96 years.

When my son was a young violin performer, practicing, practicing until the piece was perfect, he understood that in the moment of time of the performance, he 'owned' that music, the notes, the phraseology, the timing for the time the notes linger in the ear of the hearer, but this singer will always 'own' "It hurts to say good-bye". Whenever I hear someone else sing it, I will be remembering this woman and this music. And, when I'm passing on and these notes flit through my memory, it will be this rendition that I will recall.

I would like to add to the commendations already commented upon her voice and talent...it has become clear to me over the years that the judges/mentors have a lot to do with who succeeds on the Voice.
