She vocalizes the song as a soprano for the first time. And singing with Guy she starts the song in the same tone of voice as him, totally different. That's a pure and rare talent.

And then on top of that, she's funny and super charming. With an adorable husband. I don't live in Australia, but she has my vote.
This one hits me every time. When her husband started crying that set me off too....every time.
She has it all - amazing vocals, control, range, personality, wit, humbleness. And of course our man Guy is King of vocals.
I love Rita as a judge. She just seems so genuine and it's not just a front. Jess is awesome too in that aspect. But Rita is amazing. This audition was a real tear jerker. Julie-Anne's voice sounds like a Disney Princess. And she's hilarious to boot!

That should have been an album. I’d buy it immediately. They were sensational, yet despite watching numerous clips I’ve never seen this before

Oh my goodness. What a lovely episode. And the subtle change to Julie-Ann's voice & style when singing wth Guy. They really should record that. Also how sweet is Keith Urban's delight in this.
Wow, Wow & Wow-Keith remarked that a Fifth chair would turned too was remarkable.All of them gave a hearty honest warm remarks - Keith, Jesse, Rita & Guy. Guy sang beautifully too & 1st time hearing him sang. He somehow gave a soul beat to "Climb Every Mountain" Brought me beautiful tearful jerky memories of 1960s & my late Mom. Guy led me to google what songs he sang. Both he & Julie blended in so harmoniously . A Beautiful piece like a master Art piece from Leonardo Da Vince .God Bless Them All.❤
@carsam1839 if you've never heard Guy sing before now, you should search him on UA-cam and hear him sing. Black And Gold, and Before I Go are both great. And don't forget his Australian Idol audition singing Stevie Wonder. His brother Chris won The Voice AU a few seasons back.
Very poetic use of that particular song in her case: she did climb her mountain. She stands victorious on the peak. And all that before she came on The Voice.

I watched this quite some time ago and was so moved by this that I searched this out to hear it again. The clarity in her voice, the control in her voice, and the range...WOW...when he hit the ending again, the tears were streaming down my cheeks in joy. I have ALWAYS taken such great pleasure in singing. I have gotten so many comments and compliments on my voice and have been asked to sing in the choir of every church I have attended. But it goes without saying, there is no comparison in the quality of our voices, she wins from the first to the very last note. Thank you so much Julie-Anne Bell for blessing us with this great song and sharing your enormous talent with us. Your vocal students are exceedingly lucky to have you as their teacher.

she was cut from the show the very next performance during the cut episodes. her audition was on aug 16th, she was cut on aug 24th. the judges could only take 5 people to knockouts and she wasn't one of them.
@@neamhcridhe6475 what?? that is just awful after the judges building her up like that. I was hoping that she dropped out after perhaps maybe recording companies are knocking on her door to sign her.
This lady is magnificent.
I end up on this tearjerker UA-cam video rabbit hole every now and then, but this is the first time I actually shed a tear. I always imagine the worst case scenario and tend to use humor as a defense mechanism for that possibility. The moment she learns all 4 judges turned around and her reaction to it got me. It got me good. I completely understand that genuine feeling of relief and happiness when all you were expecting and bracing yourself for was the worst.
This reminds me of when Susan Boyle was first introduced to the world. It doesn't matter whether she wins the voice or not ... well, a million bucks matters ..... but I do hope she will record at least one album, so her beautiful voice can literally be available to the world. I know Guy will do his utter best for her, and I can see her working with the other contestants to improve their performance and perhaps a judge or two. It's for times like this these shows are made. Beyond heavenly! Julie Andrews would pop a cork to hear when Julie-Anne sings that song! I wonder if Julie Andrews can still sing that song with the same tone when she was young. Wouldn't it be interesting to have the trio of them sing together. It was especially grand when Guy sang with her WOW WOW WOW!!
Unfortunately, Julie Andrew’s has been unable to sing for a number of years. She had a botched vocal surgery. As a result of that, she will no longer be able to sing again.
An absolutely beautiful audition. I love this woman’s voice . I love the respectful manner in which she is treated by the coaches. Also the effort Guy made to really showcase her voice. A true gentleman.
What a stunning singer this lady is! My goodness l was moved to tears because she was unaware that the judges had all turned...she lifted my heart so high ..it'll take a while to come back down to earth. She also has a wicked sense of fun and humour...it's the best audition l have had the pleasure to view ..l am so proud of that MargUlies Anne Bell.
