    Firstly i need To apologies for the sound of the vid my Canon 70D I normally use decided to stop working right before filming 😩😭and I’m using a back up camera which isn’t as good (and couldn’t use an external mic either) but I figured as long as all the workouts are clear visually its better than nothing. I have written all the workouts and tempo in the Video when the various exercises occur so please look out for that and also a few tips during the video. Hope you find the workout useful and as always any questions regarding the workout I’ll be happy to clarify or give alternatives too 😀

    I don't think you need to go that slow unless you're practicising your mind muscle connection. For me, 2 seconds (as a rule of thumb) is enough for the eccentric so long as you slower the weight in a controlled manner. It's very fatiguing and requires a lot of concentration to do 3 seconds eccentric movements. And it also probably means the weight isn't heavy enough since you can "resist" the weight for a longer duration. Imo, your advice might steer natural newbie lifters into opting for a lighter load that is not heavy enough to produce the intended results.
    I don't agree with doing lighter Banded face pulls too. The range of motion is the same as the cable face pulls. And on top of that, you are going lighter. Is this a fluff and pump session?
    Also, is it necessary to do lateral raises and cable lateral raises in a single workout? They basically do the same thing.

  • @pikachupowers
    @pikachupowers 4 роки тому +1

    Hey Obi thank you for the excellent content as always your workouts are very well structured and the way you control the weight especially during the eccentrics is inspirational to say the least. This is the basis of discipline for how everyone should be training and your physique shows. Do you tend to focus on incorporating isometrics into your routine? Say a full body isometric workout? Also, have you tried doing supinated or neutral grip lateral raises? By going neutral and driving with my elbows I feel like I'm able to feel my shoulders far better by keeping them more external rotated. Also, for chest, do you incorporate supinated dumbbell press? My upper pecs immediately started to develop far more effectively after I tried them for the very first time. Lately I've been training with almost exclusively bands and I just keep gaining muscle. That's all I have access to right now other than a pair of 20lb kettlebells which also work super well. They feel more challenging and effective than similarly weighted dumbbells. I have to admit, if there was one thing I miss most about the gym, it would have to be the t bar rowing machine .. I feel my lats incredibly well with that thing. Thanks again for the awesome content!
