- The weather has finally gotten warm in Amsterdam, and we were so excited to get outside and enjoy sun! We eat our way through Amsterdam (pastries and pizza) and then take you to what may be... the BEST view in the city.

We are Nate and Katrina, two Americans living in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and traveling as much as we can to see what there is to see! Call us expats, immigrants, whatever... just call us already.
We balance work life with travel... as best we can! We would love to visit every country in Europe while we live here, and definitely keep a list of our global “must visit” destinations.

I wish I lived in bigger cities like Amsterdam, to be able to find that kind of bakery, I miss French bakery and pastries 😢
The name of the place is actually a play on words with a French pastry called “éclair” and that’s how you prononce “Et claire” (“And Claire”)
Frosting on cinnamon rolls should be mandatory 😁
Nemo seems nice! I’ve never been yet. From the “things” (can’t think of the word sorry 😅) that are displayed outside, it reminds me of a science museum there is in Paris.

Her name must be Clair. You can read it as @ clair but in French it sounds like éclair.
An éclair contains everything to please your taste: choux pastry in a long shape topped with pastry cream. Chocolate, coffee, vanilla: these are the most common flavors of this creamy delicacy created by the famous pastry chef Marie-Antoine Carême.

Nemo is Hell when you dont like children so much. It is loud, crowded, chaos. The view from the top is nice, but the best? Not sure. I'm also not sure if I've seen that romcom movie. Whenever I need some feel good videos I watch Julia Roberts with David Letterman. That was magical tv. Pizzas look good. Not sure about the location though. They will have a lot of competition from bad pizza places at better locations. This icecream place should sponsor you. Have fun in Poland! 🥳
