I used to work downtown Minneapolis years ago, when people still dressed beautifully, but many of the classic boutiques were going out of business. One in particular, Albrech’s and they were selling all their beautiful cashmere sweaters, I so wanted to get one, even so I still couldn’t afford it, I felt chic just even to walk through it’s doors. Thank you for bringing these timeless styles back.
I love that you don't style super tight sexy look. Your looks are so chic and effortless! I love it! You are gorgeous and I love your videos! Thank you!
I love Lily Silk. Haven't gotten anything from them in a while but definitely will be for fall and winter. I have the Cos leather tie belt and love how it enhances different looks❤🎉
I love Lydia's videos as inspiration! I am 70 and have a very different figure than Lydia, but I can adapt her ideas in ways that are flattering to me. BTW stop criticizing her choices!!!
Everybody can have an opinion! Nothing wrong with that. They like her style and that’s why write to her! Tell her when something doesn’t sit well. It’s not personal here, it’s business! Lydia doesn’t require brown nosing, she knows what she does!
I have honestly never really liked the oversized look and I am glad to see you trying to tie in the extra bulk of your massive blazer with a unique choice for a belt.😊
Gorgeous outfits Lydia. I'm trying to emulate something similar to smarten up my look on a budget! I'm trying to educate myself more on colours/tones. Would you consider yourself warm or cool toned?
I think the cord belt would look better if it were shortened, a lot. Then, the bow could be smaller, as well as the ends shorter, so it wouldn’t be so dominant.
I will be 50 next month. To me overall I like this classical style. I dress in average maybe more youthfull than my age however not showing skin. I believe in effortless, classical chique clothing that showsless truely expresses more. I enjoy neutral tones with a drop of color such as red/blue or pink/light blue is nice. Love stripes and small floral prints. Thesw Lydias videos give me a hint of how to refresh my outfits or whst new I could add. Here I really loved the white silk skirt. So elegant and flowey. Wow, what a new stapel peace!
Would you consider sharing your seasonal color analysis and how it plays into your selections? I'm almost your opposite as a fair winter brunette. And while you look lovely in all those light neutrals, I look like a corpse unless I wear more saturated colors near my face.
I love the pieces that you have showcased. May I make a personal request? Rather than using the term 'old money' could you consider 'quiet luxury' instead. I have heard you use that term before and it is more palatable. Thanks.
Lily Silk is my favorite clothing brand, their items are first on my to-buy list each month. I have several of these new-season items already and several more wish-listed for next month. I got the beautiful beige wool pleated midi skirt, too, with a silk lining. I thought clothes of this high quality were gone forever, I haven’t seen silk-lined wool garments since the 80s, but LS has brought them back! I also love the taupe cashmere Polo knit, but I know I need a long-sleeve version. If it’s cool enough for cashmere, I know my arms will need coverage, too.
Everything is beautiful on you! I wonder, can the off-the shoulder dress be worn on the shoulders too? Sometimes pieces like that can and sometimes not.
Oh Lydia, please tell me what brands are these white wide leg trousers that you are finding too long 🙏. I’m tall and can’t find any! Thank you (maybe an idea for a video, advising people what retailers clothes come up long/short/large/small to help us with our choices x
Same! I feel like I have tried on basically every pair of trousers Lydia has used in videos over the years and they have all been too short even with flats. I’m 5’10
The dense silk are dry clean only and for white trousers it’s not so practical for me. I could use my dry cleaning sheets and tumble dry but not sure at £245 if that’s worth the money?
I tried to buy the white silk trousers and they came up with only brown. Not sure as I have searched the site and can only see white in dense wide leg pleated silk. Am I going mad or what ? No discount codes available when I tried ordering the dense silk at £245 😢
11:15 I am not going to wear pleated trousers ever again, no matter if every designer on planet Earth says I must. There is nothing flattering about excess fabric in the tummy area unless you are a rail thin, tall model.
You can’t knock it out of the park every time. That rope around your waist throughout your video was a huge distraction and not in a good way. The dress won best look.
For real. I typically love her style but that rope… girl looked like she wrapped it there so she wouldn’t lose it and forgot to take it off before the vid. I liked most of the other outfits tho.
Your styles are always perfect. But today I cannot get over the rope, or whatever, around your blazer. It feels sloppy and like, trying too hard to find a unique style. But, I'm no style connoisseur!
One great piece with some less expensive items works for me. Eg., I bought one beautiful bra...cost £100 in the sale ! I feel fabulous in it and wear it every day until it needs a wash. Saves me a fortune on buying loads of cheap bras 😊
The clothes look beautiful but the checked wool/silk blend trousers were pulling at the upper thighs on you. You are very thin and well proportioned which makes me feel that whoever is designing the pants have done with a very straight body style. I will not be purchasing from this company but the styling and colours are great.
Cord belt nooooo❤
Dear Lydia, could you make a video about styling midi skirts in autumn and winter 🫶🏻 love to watch your videos for inspiration ✨

I love how you styled your blazer with the robe belt 😍
Thank you so much for sharing your professionally put- together style choices; these are lovely!
Lovely outfits! Minus the rope belt, kinda a miss for me.
Love the looks, timeless materials, cashmere, etc
I never thought of wearing a USB cable as a belt.
I love the way you put together ,out fit I'm learning a lot.
❤ You have STYLE ladybug!! All the outfits were made for you! Beautiful clothes and the neutral tones are definitely timeless!! I love them all!🎉🎉🎉🎉
The wool silk trousers fit so well 🎉 LOVE LOVE LOVE them 💕
You look absolutely beautiful in the off the shoulder dress,
I love Lily Silk. Haven't gotten anything from them in a while but definitely will be for fall and winter. I have the Cos leather tie belt and love how it enhances different looks❤🎉
Lovely outfits, Lydia. I love this transitional time, and these are very elegant looks.
I've been eyeing Lilysilk but I'd never seen their clothes face to face. This video was very helpful!
I love lily silk 😍 also your new flattered pieces are gorgeous
I love Lydia's videos as inspiration! I am 70 and have a very different figure than Lydia, but I can adapt her ideas in ways that are flattering to me.

Love the pleated off shoulder dress😍
I have honestly never really liked the oversized look and I am glad to see you trying to tie in the extra bulk of your massive blazer with a unique choice for a belt.😊
I love the tie-belt detail
Gorgeous outfits Lydia. I'm trying to emulate something similar to smarten up my look on a budget! I'm trying to educate myself more on colours/tones. Would you consider yourself warm or cool toned?
Awesome as always love your style thank you from Canada 🇨🇦
All beautiful!!! 😊
All beautiful on you, especially the dress, the only thing I didn’t like was the cord belt. Not a good luck
I think the cord belt would look better if it were shortened, a lot. Then, the bow could be smaller, as well as the ends shorter, so it wouldn’t be so dominant.
I was thinking exactly the same!
Love the snake shoes also. I have my eyes on barrel style jeans but mid rise as I'm 5'2".
You are such a beautiful lady. Love your class, style and presentation. You are exquisite!! Lily Silk dress is the stunner!

beautiful selections
Just fabulous

Fab, Lydia! 😊
How tall are you Lydia, I’m 5’10 and find it hard to get pants long enough to fit properly
908K....keep going girl!!
Hi Lydia, if you were styling brown tones would you use leopard accessories instead of snake? I love leopard print in its natural colours.
Everything looks great on you Lydia. What size did you wear with the trousers please? (The silk/wool pair)
I love the pieces that you have showcased. May I make a personal request? Rather than using the term 'old money' could you consider 'quiet luxury' instead. I have heard you use that term before and it is more palatable. Thanks.

I’m so ready for the end of summer, let’s be honest it never really began! Bring on clothes we can actually get the use out of 😂
I love them all, wow !
Thanks ❤❤❤❤❤
I love that snake print bag of yours. What brand is it?
I really like the brown suede bag from Flattered! Seeing as it's so dark, does it contribute to colour transfer onto your clothes?
All dat kislux bags sssssoooooooo gorgeous
Love your style and incredibly helpful videos. How long is the Lily Silk Lydia discount available?
Everything is beautiful on you! I wonder, can the off-the shoulder dress be worn on the shoulders too? Sometimes pieces like that can and sometimes not.

@@emilyscott1237 Yes if they are the right length for Lydia they won’t be for anyone over 5ft6in as they’ll fall at the wrong point of the leg 😔
Do you find that any trousers that contain viscose shrink even when washing in cold water?
The midi beige dress is way too chic I love it !
Hi Lydia are you wearing the S or XS lily silk off shoulder dress? Thank you
The off the shoulder dress is absolutely beautiful. You look good in everything you presented. Do you actually keep all of the items from Lily Silk?
Great❤❤
Lydia so stylish. I LOVE the belt that you're wearing 😍
sorry but I think it looks like a bit of old electrical cable, 😆
@@sammyclegg That is exactly what I thought !
The dense silk are dry clean only and for white trousers it’s not so practical for me. I could use my dry cleaning sheets and tumble dry but not sure at £245 if that’s worth the money?
All Uniqlo's links do not work
Where is the silver metallic bag from? 😍
Beautiful outfits! Can you please remind me how tall you are?
Her description says she’s 5’6
Hi,
Sorry, just a promotion video!
I tried to buy the white silk trousers and they came up with only brown. Not sure as I have searched the site and can only see white in dense wide leg pleated silk. Am I going mad or what ? No discount codes available when I tried ordering the dense silk at £245 😢
Forget the brown. I got it wrong
11:15 I am not going to wear pleated trousers ever again, no matter if every designer on planet Earth says I must. There is nothing flattering about excess fabric in the tummy area unless you are a rail thin, tall model.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍
Lovely but I cannot keep anything white clean for any length of time
You can’t knock it out of the park every time. That rope around your waist throughout your video was a huge distraction and not in a good way. The dress won best look.
You beat me to it. Bad look.
For real. I typically love her style but that rope… girl looked like she wrapped it there so she wouldn’t lose it and forgot to take it off before the vid. I liked most of the other outfits tho.
I LOVE the tie round your waist Lydia. Very stylish 💕 and you pull it off well.
Ohhh I laughed. The rope wrapped around an ill fitting blazer, so funny.
It's not a favorite, but there is a better way to give an opinion without saying you laughed at it.
I'm so over Lilysilk & Goelia😩
It seems that nearly all influencers are currently working for Lily Silk. No originality anymore.
I like the belt. Y’all are trippin
Can’t unsee Colleen Hoover!
Your styles are always perfect. But today I cannot get over the rope, or whatever, around your blazer. It feels sloppy and like, trying too hard to find a unique style. But, I'm no style connoisseur!
Love the first look, white trousers and polo, as well as the dress. But honestly, that cord belt around the huge blazer looks so frumpy. Sorry.
Love all the outfits...but please know Arket doesn't ship to US...
I so agree with the belt comment. Not at all attractive. Jacket has way too much volume to belt.
Love your style but this cable belt is slightly ridiculous😢sorry!Love your channel though❤
👍❤️👍
Você fala muito
The blazer is way too baggy to put the rope around it, really bad look :(
Cos belt reminds me of electrical wire, not something I would try
Lilly Silk👎
And Goelia
Hi Lydia - I love your content but finding the new closet back drop distracting. It is hard to see the outfit silhouettes as well. Thank you ❤
Loved everything but all too much money for me. I try to do the look for less, but often quality and fit are not there 🤷♀️
One great piece with some less expensive items works for me. Eg., I bought one beautiful bra...cost £100 in the sale ! I feel fabulous in it and wear it every day until it needs a wash. Saves me a fortune on buying loads of cheap bras 😊

Most of the outfits are fine, but, at 5’3”, I’d drown. Also, I can’t imagine spending $150-200 on one pair of pants. I could, but I won’t.
