I can not tell you how many times I’ve seen this videos, re watching it every now and then when I feel like my skills have evolved enough. Well I finally got some 3mm stones in and some 21 gauge in copper to practice. Anyways I set my first two stones. I’m happy. Thank you
You are an awesome instructor. You make every step so easy to see and clear. I’m new to wire wrapping so learning the style I like. Will rejoin you in Patreon when I have more skills. Thank You.
I have to say that you are such an awesome teacher! I like the way you show it on paper and then show us actually doing the wire wrapping of each technique! You really have to be the best teacher out of the ones that I've seen doing wire tutorials. On the more complicated waves it really does help me to see it on paper not just in practice so when you put the two together it's perfect! Thank you so much for the time that you take to Plan out and execute these tutorials step by step!
This is a really nice technique. I'm an experienced wire wrapper but could never succeed at channel settings. Imma gonna try this. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Great video, as always. I am having a hell of a time attaching these to pieces, though; specifically, do you have any tips for how to reset a stone if it pops out of the middle of the setting, without damaging the weave or the top wires? Or tricks for knowing how tightly to weave the wire to both hold the stones in and prevent the base wire from warping when pulling the weaving wire tight?
Out of curiosity, what is the smallest stone you have done this with? I have some 1mm vintage rhinestones I saved off an old broken pendant and I'd like to incorporate them into a new piece... but they are so very small... I'm trying ro figure out a good way to securely wrap them so that I can use them.

can you interchange wires, like using 20 gauge or 22 gauge with 3mm facets, or best to use 21 gauge? thank you
❤
whats the name of thing you use to hold the wire in place while wrapping ?
masterful, ty
👏👏👏
