- Hello and welcome to the very new @classonglass UA-cam channel, I hope you like what you see and consider subscribing and joining me on this journey.
In this video I will be walking you through the process of engraving a picture onto glass. There are a few steps I need to follow before the actual lasering begins.
In this step by step video I will explain the process of changing the image getting it ready to laser.
I will be using my XTOOL P2 55 watt CO2 laser for this.

Thank you for taking he time... John Sweden
Excellent video thank you
Thanks for the demo! I've been struggling with glass engraving with my P2. I will try the dish soap trick. Also, I wish you the best of success with your new channel!! :)
Thank you😊
That's a really nice job! Lovely clear finish! 👍
Thank you 😊
Thanks for the video. I’m just getting into glass myself. I noticed you set the image to 318 DPI in ImagR but left XCS set to 100 LPC (254 LPI). From what I can tell, I think these should match. Have you played with that as well?
That's amazing. Thanks for sharing
You’re welcome 😊
Great video. I’m trying this with my p2 this week.
How did you get on 😊
@@classonglass Its been trial and error getting the settings dialed in. I've noticed different thickness of glass requires different settings. Still a very impressive machine.
@@InsomniacReviews yes it sure is….massive learning curve for me…but fun 😊
Wow neat . Cool so no more painting on the glass . Just use dish soap
I have an x tool P2 and my settings are different. I don't have an option for glass. What software are you using?
Nice video. I am not quite sure why you are putting dish soap on the glass?
The one thing I find annoying with the RA2 is that positioning something exactly where you want it is difficult, because you have to start with the edge, but usually want to align the center…
Hey 👋 I use the dish soap because I feel the result is better 😁
Reading through comments about xtool a lot of people mentioned that they wished the p2 could frame the object like the F1 does…that would come in very handy.
