To be honest I like them both. I go thru spurts where only use VR and now I havent used it for months. Nice to have them both and the Quest 2 is so cheap why not.
@@sundaymoney4583 Ok thanks for the clarification. That's a reasonably priced GPU. Never considered myself a gamer but want to get into iRacing, so I'm planning on migrating over from a console once I piece out a pc build. Cheers!

@@sundaymoney4583 no no not that, forgive English mine. I meant to say of iracing was a little bit less expensive, People would be more in number, and more lobby/stints would be there. Like that, I couldn't express in English.
How are you playing iracing on the oculus?
Is this a real question....? The same way tons of others are. On a PC.
You don't know if I need any programs on the Quest 2 and/or on the PC?
No I just plug the quest in to my pc and play.
Do you like the vr setup better than monitors?
To be honest I like them both. I go thru spurts where only use VR and now I havent used it for months. Nice to have them both and the Quest 2 is so cheap why not.
Did you just connect your link to your headset and hopped in a race or did you do anything special?
Yeah nothing special. Connected my vr thru cable and virtual desktop and started a race.
@@sundaymoney4583 Does this go through your graphics card? Is a good gpu needed?
@@NolanGerald In this vid I was using 1660TI. Yes I connected my Quest to my cpu. The air link is not good enough to run iracing competitively.

@@sundaymoney4583 so the wired and virtual desktop has virtually no lag now?
Imagine if I racing wasn’t expensive
It’s really not that bad
Imagine if food, water and rent werent expensive.
If I racing was cheap to buy, then it would be full lobbies and more events. Sadly it's not the case 😞.

Did you run this thru virtual desktop
Yup sure did. The wireless sucks.
