Hey, it's been awhile.
You're so talented!
Vsauce3 henlo
Vsauce3 so it has
Vsauce3 it's been too long
I miss you Z A D D Y
The music that jake chooses for his videos is brilliant
He starts with the music and the rest falls into place!
Sean Barry
Agreed... O.O
true indeed
Sean Barry not better than michaels... because that can turn into any meme, I swear
Or is it?
Imagine falling down those stairs
Hi
Rip
You fall down, at most, 9 steps then go off the side and then you just drop however far off from the ground it is.
MParty111
Probably infinite; more of the staircase will just spawn under the unloaded space, therefore making it, well, infinite.
yea oooof
Vsauce: math, learning, just all around chaotic energy
Vsauce2:
Vsauce 3: production value and interesting things
How don’t diss my boy vsause 2
How you gonna talk about Vsauce2 like that son
That time when vsauce3 is more vsauce than vsauce.
Muh BaTa true
Muh BaTa We live in a society.
No
Vsauce forgot his password
@@xenstudio vsauce finally clicked "forgot password?"
Jake, I absolutely love the nostalgic 80s graphics and music in your videos.
Blade Runner vibes
Is it possible to be nostalgic for something you never experienced? Because I think I'm actually nostalgic for the 80s.
Earven yes it is, I'm nostalgic but I was born in 2000...
its so... stranger things ish
I agree that the 80s feel was great. Sort of like Stranger Things.
0:19 This Music is just INCREDIBLE

What has happened to Vsauce1, 2, and 3? is it all just DONG now, or Vsauce on premium youtube? Really miss checking in and watching these videos....
kyle kelevera but somehow i still find vsauce videos i haven't seen from the first channel
The answer is simple - money.
@@Vitaliuz that's a sad answer
the actual answer is that they have been doing the same thing for ten years and they like the format of dong. i dont get why people like to be all edgy and shout "they sold out" when burn out is a much more probable answer.
not calling them sell outs at all. just say i really enjoyed these videos, and the format here, and miss them.
Did all the Vsauce hosts take a training course to talk with the same inflection?
eclipse right?
Hmmmmmmmmmm..........
I had that thought at 6:52 lol
Thats what im wondering but the og will always be Michael
Yes
We just need a video from Michael on Vsauce now to complete the trinity.
You guys always manage to convey your content in ways nobody else does. I love it.
Yup
Do you mean H O W T O B A S I C?
Michael sold his soul to UA-cam Red long ago.
SnoopyDoo nooooooo!!!!
What is the second video?
Why did you guys stop? You were the best on youtube. Seriously the best.
Our world is amazing
People are amazing
Digital worlds are amazing
rip
They're back
Well, Kevin never stopped, but still
Yes they're best
They didnt and they will not
Vsauce 3 in a nutshell:
*delivers reality shattering realization that makes you question your very being and consciousness* "And as always, thanks for watching"
From a cinematography and editing perspective your videos are incredible!
Seriously keep it up Jake and everyone on the Vsauce3 team! 👍👍
Five seconds after starting this video, I thought back to his other videos and I wanted to say the same thing. All his videos feel like a little short film. Go watch the one called 'Causal Loop' if you haven't yet.
he is the best of "the vsauces" at cinematography by far, if you noticed every object in a shot has a reason to be there, highly rewatchable.
Felt like stranger things.
I saw "A Jake Roper Picture" and paused to make popcorn before coming back
I already had it on hand.
Update: as always, the wait between productions was well worth it
I paused, scrolled down to see this comment, am presently commenting about how I am about to get up and fetch some brownies before resuming the video
I dimmed the lights and turned up the video resolution before watching.
I made mac and cheese because I didn't have popcorn
Jake: I decided to 3D print some impossible objects
Physics: Dude, thats my 3D printer
👀
The Verge so that's where I've seen this before
The Verge. You too?!
I make slow motion videos of everyday day life recently I've uploaded a helicopter flying over my trailer and butterflies fluttering if anyones interested
Great job on that PC build video!
Hey Vsauce Verge here
That outro was awesome, Jake. Truly creative
The outro was kinda creepy
I too love skillshare.
Literally started noping at the outro. It was great though, it's a lovely hatred I feel for mindfoolery
i mean , everyone gets sposored by skillshare these days
i had to replay it to understand what i just saw
can I say that the visuals and soundtrack are absolutely on point??
I pride myself on being able to draw Penrose polygons and the impossible cube from memory
Gru is the most powerful being in the universe, and here’s why: according to the height of a Minion (which is 3.5 feet on average) Gru is 4 minions tall, which means he is a godly size of 14 feet tall. Second if any of you remember the original Despicable Me, you Know there is a scene when Vector kidnaps the three girls and shoots a series of heat-seeking misses at Gru, he then dodge them all. According to the speed of an average ballistic missile (1900 mph) and the size of the missile according to his ankle size, Gru can perceive and move at such a speed that the missiles only move 9.5 miles per hour, 0.5% of their original speed. Plus after this Gru punches a shark and it is paralyzed meaning its spine is probably shattered, to remind you it would require a force greater than 3,000 newtons to fracture the spine. That’s equal to the impact created by a 500-pound car crashing into a wall at 30 miles per hour. I rest my case.
Edit:didn’t steal it from SLAZO I stole it from a copy pasta but I do watch SLAZO
Reuben Tautua wow
Reuben Tautua I srsly want Jake to make a video about this, like, RIGHT NOW!
Reuben Tautua fun fact
Stolen from slazo F
Give credit to big slaz you thief
Awesome Jake. Here's hoping you make a Use Your Illusion II
MinuteEarth hi there i like your videos
Hey MinuteEarth! You're great! And you've got a great community, can't wait for the next video!
:O
Quality > quantity.
I like you jake roper.
Music Fruit
Agreed!!!

GENERAL KENOBI
Your move
This is deep and one of the best videos I've seen on UA-cam.
Alex & Erika new to the tube aye ?
@@club.Sceniicc when it comes to educational videos, it is tho
I always love the synth music in your videos, I wish you credited it just so we could find it
it's usually music by Jake Chudnow.
Oh we assumed it was actually written for the episodes themselves?
I don't think the music from printing shots is Chudnow's, very interested to know the author
I think some of them are from Audio Network. Not sure, though.
I can't find the track on youtube. But if you go to Audio Network and search "80's", it will be the track named 'Sheer Drop'.
I thought it's a The Verge video :o
Lxender same broski
Lxender ok
Same, but I'm honestly I'm glad that it's vSauce instead
same
me too
Some of these short movies should be nominated for an oscar
So glad you mentioned the great MC Escher, the king (imo) of these type drawings.
I love how artistic your videos are compared to the other VSauce channels. Thank you for making science so fun!
he makes science visually interesting and pretty
Jake are you sure you aren’t a god? These videos are better quality than a lot of tv shows now
Jambr0 Good quality video ---> God??
Jambr0 apparently creating videos with better quality than « a lot of tv shows » is only possible if you are a god lmao
And also apparently just Jake is responsible for these videos, he does everything by himself.
No, he’s a superhero. Neckbeard man!
You mean good not god
I always love your closes. You said thanks for watching and I nearly left from habit cause other vids but then i remembered you do that and I was not disappointed.
I’ve missed these videos! It’s the perfect thing to watch for a study break. So relaxing and yet very entertaining.
That ending wins my award for the best ending (the bit before skillshare)
AGREED! Twas' sweeeeet
I was learning something from a *ILLUSION???*
*HOW CAN I KNOW IF IT IS REAL INFORMATION???*
My life is a lie.
everything becomes information in your mind / everything in your mind is information derived from your senses by interpreting the signals / everything in your mind is information you created yourself.
This "text" is just light from the screen beeing blocked - you made text out of it
the lie is a cake 🤪
... no, I'm not on drugs .. just got my mind f** recently
But
*Is That A Information That I Can Use In Real Life?*
*Can It Be Applied In Real Life?*
You cant. Even heard of solipsism?
Nigrum Quercu Reality is overrated. Real or not, it is all you got.
These objects will appear on facebook's stolen videos with a different music lol
As always.
This channel has the best production value of any youtube channel. 1000% awesome.
This video is impossibly good.
We see what you did there ;) and yes, yes they are! Hoping to up our quality ever closer to how damn tasty this is to the eyes!
Yes!
nice
Antoine Petitjean it’s the simple things :)
Lewex also, it’s so good to come across other people on UA-cam stoked about sciency stuff! UA-cam is becoming a gold mine for that sort of thing!
7:03 OH HI MARK
listen clearly to his voice. you can hear it gets deeper as he is tries to keep his muscles in sitting pose while laying on his back. i noticed his voice was weird in that shot but it wasn't untill eric passed above him that i realised he got me good with that. good job jake
#1 its eric, not mark, #2, its 7:02
Ashton Minden wow u don’t get it don’t u 😂
Yu want to break laws of physics?
I did not hit her
Now all we need is for vsauce 1 to upload
dong/ding now has michael doing vsauce but better? on it. go look at that.
This and your paradox video is my favorite video. Love this channel!
YES
Cellbit go away mate
Cellbit? vc por aqui?

Vou admitir que sua presença não é tão inesperada
De fato não é kkkkk
The end blew my mind...
What a fantastic episode. Thanks as always for making them!
You have some of the best videos on UA-cam, always enjoy watching them.
*I think my brain just threw up.*
John Dough why
Watching this video feels like the highest drug trip evar bro !
It's the paradox week in the office
This has been one of my most favorite videos posted on this channel since I’ve been subscribed and I don’t know how many years that’s been. Great job Jake!!
All of Vsauce's content is fantastic, but Jake's productions are definitely my favorite.
Really great job dude, it's always a blast to watch a new video by you.
Vsauce: Here's Another Video
Me: 👽➡👾
I’ve seen all these impossible objects before but the way you presented them gave the shapes a whole new light, great video 👍
My grandparents have a few of Esher's paintings in their house and I remember way back when I was little, just staring at those pictures, trying to comprehend them
Jake. I love the content you're putting out lately. I will literally pause the video, walk into my living room and put it on the big screen. Keep up the good work.
*Antichamber* and the upcoming *Manifold Garden* are two video games inspired by M.C. Echer's work.
Check them out.
Hemang Chauhan also maybe miegakure which makes no sense in 3d but all the sense in 4d
Yeah, Antichamber is great and Manifold Garden's been looking great forever! Let's hope it's released soon.
There's also a free game called Fragments of Euclid based around Escher's work and non-euclidean geometry. Be sure to check it out!
Isn’t it called Antechamber?
ossi_ fragments of Euclid is a different game from anti chamber both are really good
Exactly my thought.
Itachi Uchiha: “Each of us lives depended and bound by our individual knowledge and are awareness. All that is what we call reality. However, both knowledge and awareness are equivocal. One's reality might be another's illusion. We all live inside our own fantasies.”
KennyCool619 wow
KennyCool619 you gonna get a PhD in philosophy as a doctor in philosophy but why ?
representing anime nice
OMG this channel is perfect. I wish Vsauce3 had at LEAST half of the subscribers Vsauce had.
Jake, I feel that your channel provides videos that allow people to think in a deeper way. The video quality and information is always a treat. Waiting for the next video is worth it. I appreciate what you and Vsauce as a whole does. Thank you.
Monument valley is an amazing game
Everyone should play it.
Anika Maynard only game I ever ended in one session. Too magic but short :(
It's an Android game, right?
I love that game
Absolutely amazing, thanks man
That ending was amazing. And, as always, thanks for the video!
This is one of my favorite videos on the internet, Ive always been amazed by optical illusions.
FINALLY! JAKE IS ALIVE!
This video is artistic, informative, gripping truly quality.
I love your videos, Jake
Give ya credit. You explain things in a simple understandable way. Mad Props.
OMG THAT ENDING WAS INCREDIBLE
Who else gets nostalgia from 80s graphics and music yet was born after the 80s.
Christian D I do
I think that might be called Anemoia
wow, this video's editing and storytelling are out of this world
Jake: So i decided to 3D print some
Universe: WAIT THAT'S ILLIGAL
That triangle cube structure formed a Star of David
Nein
So awsome, best vid of this year so far !
C'est sur ! L'une des meilleurs chaînes du UA-cam international !
Gotta love that synthwave, great video.
God I love your videos. They are so well done, and you’ve got a very distinct style that I just love. The way you set up some videos is so interesting, and I love how you incorporate the topic into the scenarios you create, and how you basically tell a story based on the information you’re talking about
Hey man,
are you ok¿
we miss you
yes
6:50 his voice sounds a bit weird. Probably because he’s trying to talk while lying on a hard floor.
One of the best channels in YT ) And Jake is also amazing
Love the eighties style opening.
Love your style man keep it up.
Vsauce is too good to be true...plus there is a star of David in the middle of the cubes illusion at 9:03 at first I thought that's the illusion lol.
6:59 That is clever!
7:00 I love how the papers and the soda can *make* the illusion! I mean, anyone can do the thing with the chair and the bucket, but placing the papers and can. Nice touch!
As always, thanks for making such wonderful and fascinating videos!
6:39 Considering you lead the question that there are two shapes, you exclude the possibility that there are more. Hence one should not expect to hear "one rectangle and two squares" because that sum is three.
10:10 Okay, now you're just showing off.
So dramatique.. The presentation... Stunning
Your editing is so good like the end the bulging out illusion nice!
Omg vsauce3 posted yes!
Pierre, the regular uploads have begun :) we're stoked!
*that plottwist at the end :o*
This channel continues to amaze me. Keep doing what you are doing!
Now that was something really stunning, I love the way our brain forces us too see things through our perspective even when they are not the way they are.
Great after waiting for over 4 months for a new video
i am kinda done with looking for new videos.
Shame that these really good youtubers just seem to stop and do other stuff.
I wonder if impossible shapes could be included in video games. Of course, tricks would be necessary in order to make the impossible shapes interactive, that is, they'd have to change shape in order to continue looking like the same impossible shape with the same impossibilities, regardless of what angle you look at it from. So then, to create sameness from different angles, you'd have to make it different from different angles. You'd also have to make use of false space, wherein moving from one position to another would put your avatar/character somewhere they shouldn't be, all to maintain the illusion of the impossible shape. This would also have to apply to projectiles and, somehow, hit-scan, if said impossible shape is put into a first person shooter. Now, with the staircase, gravity would remain consistent, which should make it somewhat easier, but with the triangle, wherein common depictions of it with a character would have the character running along it and change their direction of gravity when they run off the shorter edges, that might be a bit more complex.
tl;dr: Put these shapes into custom Team Fortress 2 maps.
He shown a game that had something like this in the video...
James Kindrick but that is a topic for another time
No, in that game, the impossible shapes would lose their shape with a change in angle, much like they would in real life. What I'm suggesting would have them keep their impossible shape.
AntiChamber is the game you are looking for
it's weird...
Hey Jake!! Thanks for always saying, "I love you" at the end of your videos. It really means something concrete when you say it to your audience, especially after the cancer battle you had a while back and seeing how far you have come on this channel and in your life!! Thank you for sharing so of yourself with us and letting us peek into your world. Love you too man!!!!
If nothing else, I really enjoy letting my mind work as it gets blown every time Vsauce makes a video
6:15 Kinda looks like my stovetop
I just want to mention all the effects in his video’s and how much effort it takes. Keep it up dude
I love everything with this video ! Stranger Things like visuals, Escher's drawings, optical illusions and impossible constructions 😍 (and you of course)
That ending tho 😱
"Oh hey Eric." is Vsauce's take on "Oh hi Mark."
Thanks Vsauce3 team for such cool videos.
Quality at its finest
Woah the intro was so *CooOOoOoOl*
