This is a good thing for members because it reduces time waiting in line. I’m not a member, but worked next to a costco for a short while and sometimes ate at their food court as a matter of convenience. If I was a member I would be upset that others got a free benefit that I was paying for and had to wait longer in line because of them.
*Indoor food courts was always like this. Now applying rule to outdoor food courts, particularly those that are mall-adjacent is logical and 'way overdue.*
I specifically remember them years ago refusing to serve me because I didn't have my card on me. I was there with my wife, she had it and was walking around shopping. The line was long. They wanted me to go find her, then come back and get in line again.... nah, Im good.
Never will affect me. I think there is a Costco in Omaha, but that is 130 miles away. I am not aware that I have even seen a Costco. I will never ever pay for the "privilege" of shopping in a store.
They won’t loose anything because the people mad are not their members anyway, and the food court has artificially low subsidized prices. This should be a privilege for members.
I hate Costco now. Ridiculous to do this. They will loose tons of revenue over this; but my quess is they don't care. To cut out people this way over a hot dog / soda or a slice of pizza ...? Truly; a low class move. Thanks Costco; now I definitely will never consider a lame membership. Money saved ! whooo hoo
how about for the kids or the less fortunate that want to get a $1.50 hotdog or slice from the food court???? Didn't think about that huh whittey@@blackrifle6736
@@blackrifle6736 oh I guess you don’t care about the poor and homeless I am a member but I understand poor families but pizza there for cheap. Are you one of those democrats that play pretend to have a bleeding heart?

The outdoor facing food courts were the problem. Glad they resolved it.
Good it gets too crowded sometimes
*Agreed. Crowded and rowdy.*
Agreed.

Great idea! I thought it was already for members lol
It was already for most Costco's, not all.
This is literally how it always was

Good
I want my hotdog and soda to remain 1.50. Scum buyers need to stay out.
Japan did that since 2022.
Ima stop by Costco😊

And?
I get into Costco by walking in backwards, an looking like I'm leaving.
That’s ridiculous. Watch how many costumer they will lose
And they will save more money. Costco is smart.
How will they lose money when the majority of the money they make comes from memberships?

BOYCOTT COSTCO IF THEY DO THIS.
ok do it where else you gonma get bulk food
@@viakion2125trust me i'll survive. Besides, who says i need to buy bulk food anyway?
I’m going to shop there more in support.
You’re not even a member so boycotting them isn’t going to hurt their wallet. 😂
I'm an executive black card holder 😊
You're special 😆
This is the stupidest thing I’ve heard about I guess Costco likes loosing money .
*Naw. Just no more free-loading. Join, show card or go elsewhere. Costco DGAS and neither do I.*
How are they losing money when the majority of the money they make comes from memberships?
Ya don’t really understand economics, do ya.
Bidenomics 😂
No it is Trumpidiotnics😃😃😃

@@Liberalcali That’s not Costco’s problem. If you’re homeless or want to feed your family cheap food then go to Aldi or McDonald’s.
@@seabojospeph2480 I bet you are a democrat
They clearly don't want money
They clearly don’t want to loose money selling $1.50 hot dogs to non members who don’t shop there.
