I've really likes Beyeke since the 2011 NY Pro when he was robbed of 2nd place, the dude has great lines, just those damn hamstrings and glutes!! And Kucklo always in great shape, I think the difference here was that he was a tad bigger and fuller and in just as good of condition.
Man, I was so happy for Lionel and Kuclo! Beyeke looked phenomenal, round af, great proportions, striated quads! If he nails lower rear body conditioning it's gonna be game over for many of these guys! He has the genetic advantage. And Kuclo! Tbh judging by his training progress, I wrote him off weeks ago. He seemed to be a guy who's having too much fun. But as time passed by, he became very well conditioned and the final package was really pleasing to the eye, I love that the judges gave him a high ranking, because from a natural standpoint he actually looked believeably muscular with great conditioning. And he still seemed to have a lot of fun, great charisma and energy on the stage, I loved to see it - many of these guys are lukewarm dudes doing these mandatories like it was a 9 to 5 for them. He seemed so passionate and looked really great. Justin has insane back genetics, if he brings up his legs, he'll do a lot of harm in those important back poses!
Lionel Beyeke is my champion any given day. This guy is simply blessed! The only thing I can say would be that he doesn t have big calves. But that has nothing to do with his work ethic.. just that genetic thing.. chest.. arms.. abs.. thighs.. upper back.. he has it.

Justin placed 4th at the NY Pro in 2017 and could've placed 2nd in my opinion. He's got a world class upper body with those arms and huge back. Once he brings up his legs and dials in the conditioning he can easily win Pro shows. He's a rookie still hasn't even been a pro for more than a year but he's gonna be Victor Martinez 2.0 no question.
Yeah that's a great comparison I can see it for sure... albeit more of an old Victor Martinez as opposed to the version that was finishing runner up in '07
Yeah he looked better than John de la rosa imo too. He has a really good back. Front and back double bicep are on point too. I feel John dela rosa placed 2nd because he's been doing it longer. Also Sergio has a really ugly front double bicep, his long head triceps is so long that it throws off his sweep when doing a front double biceps. So not a fan of his physique. His biceps are also so long, making'em look flat.
Beyeke has the best genetics out there. Just needs to bring up his back a bit and come in dryer. Also needs to hold his poses longer. Future Mr. O no doubt.

The best of all was he had the best V Taper. I know he wasn't as conditioned as others, or didn't have the best set of legs, however he looked healthy. He looks like an athlete not like a peron who went through mutation like Roelly, or Dexter. Look at Dexter's mid section. Looks like Mutated Ninja Turtle. Bonac was good but very short.
Society Is Misguided. Very true. Public always blame BB for having gut but the problem is actually due to Judges and Sponsors. BB are just the products. If judges change the selection criteria then all will be sorted. Luimarco keeps hammering Phil Heath for bubble gut. I find it very disrespectful. Phil is a small guy and to win he has to put lots of muscles. How can he do that and keep the gut in check.

He blow away the whole competition, even Justin Rodriguez. He has amazing shape and amazing delts. He works with Chris aceto. After the NY Pro luimarco was talking about how good both of these guys are and Justin wound up going over o Kuwait after a conversation luimarco had with the trainer Abdullah who trains Roelly and Ramy. It's so frustrating seeing Beyeke and all that potential not being exploited to its full potential. I wish he had the right team behind him like Charles Glass. Then we could really see him push himself beyond that barrier that's holding him back. Why even compete if your not going to give 100%? Just seem like he is half assing his career. Doesn't come in the best condition and his posing is poor. Doesn't even seem like he is contracting the muscles when he poses to make everything pop! Just hard to see him waste this damn talent!

This year's Arnold classic was better than last year's Olympia IMO. There were tons of surprises!
