All the combi attachments for the petrol motors fit on the battery, The hedger, Pole saw, trimmer, broom, cultivator and edger. Even a blower! In my opinion, Husqvarna is now the industry leader. I own several husqvarna gear. It's very well made. Switch quality or build quality is subjective and a matter of opinion. They are lighter than EGO and that means more workload and less arthritis and muscle pain. Better run time. I do this commercially. Husky is what stood up the rigours of commercial use no problem.
You're right. The combi system was definitely the best tool we tested from them and it was lighter than ego. I wish they had better blowers and mowers to go with it. Thanks for sharing.
I thank you for your feedback. I am a solo operator lady and I am debating Stihl or Husky for a battery combi system. I'm a Stihl gas girl now but I'm thinking of going to battery?
Great review and definitely agree with you. I personally will but another 325iLK to use as a trimmer because I'mm not feeling their battery trimmer, thanks!
Great video. I just received my Husqvarna battery line I purchased. I was impressed with their products after demoing the whole line for a few months. The battery efficiency and results were hard to beat by the other brand I demonstrated.
Awesome! I really did like the battery efficiency and light weight. I think Ego and Husqvarna are leading the pack right now. Either are a great choice.
Did you also demo EGO and if so, what are the reasons you decided to go with Husqvarna. What model Husqvarna are you using for your main string trimmer the 520ilx or the 325ilx? Thanks
@@BWCA-vy2pi I only demo’d Ego’s mower, the second time i used it, it had a failure and wouldn't come back on, so i lost confidence quickly. Husqvarna had the best weight, run time and the capability to be used without the backpack batteries. Thats big for us because we’re in and out of the truck a lot as we do all residential.
thanks for the review, here in europe they offer plethora of attachments. basically you can use all the same combi accessories as with their gas units. they have string trimmer, brush cutter, edger, 2 different powerbrooms, 2 hedge trimmers, blower, clutivator, 2 pole saws, detatcher, extension pole and scissor attachment. thats just from the top of my head, they offer provably more...
Hello. A successful clip full of information. I have a question that I don't know if it has been asked by anyone. Can the tools from Stihl combi be used for Husqvarna? Thank you
Looking forward to seeing which company you end up going with. It's probably hard to switch once you commit to a certain brand because you already own so many batteries and chargers.
You are right about that. If I switch, I want to sell off everything to use one system. But, I did decide to stick with Ego at this time. I don't think there is anything out there yet that compares.
Are you still using the machine? So you have a pole saw or hedge trimmer attachment? I'm in the UK and have a fair bit of Ego tools.. currently looking at the Husqvarna stuff as my Ego batteries and chargers are proving unreliable... It's a really shame because I like the tools in general.
where do I buy and how is battery separate and charger separate too? will chainsaw pole attach? and is straight or curve edger better big price difference?
Hey Brent, I mean that we seemed to have gotten longer run times from the Husqvarna equipment compared to the same battery size and Ego equipment. I didn't get a ton of time to test it. But, it did seem that way. The sacrifice was power.
Make sure you look at how the battery cools. Ego’s batteries have a lot of cooling holes in the pack. Do husky’s batteries have the same amount of cooling? Remember heat kills batteries.
@@QuietLawn nice I can get behind this model. Lol. Next year I'll go over to Husqvarna battery or sooner.. I don't like the moter on the head its to heavy.
@@thecuttingforce I totally agree. I also don't like how trimmers with the motor in the head run either. They seem to be a lot more sensitive with the trigger and don't run as smoothly. Good luck to you.
@@QuietLawn What would be your pick as far as outdoor battery powered equipment Ego or Husqvarna if your wanting something for a lot of residential use??? Money isn't a issue and I want good commercial equipment that will last. I need a good solid hedge trimmer more then anything cause i have over 60 circle medium size hedges to round off?! Would the Husky battery be better then the Ego battery???
No dice. Husky isn't a big enough improvement over your Ego gear.....most likely not even as good. I too bad a run of battery problems with my Ego gear at about year two....mainly with my 5 ah batteries. The sting has subsided and back to bulletproof reliability. I also run the power Head with and without guard battery on and sometimes battery on backpack link. Thousands of hours of use on pretty much everything but their mowers. Really you must just be bored. That being said Makitas 18 volt trimmers have impressive specs and their soon to be released extended length beasts trimmers look to be a winner.
I agree. Ego has fantastic tools. But, we're starting to have way too many batteries failures within the first year or two. Something has definitely changed in the manufacturing.

Absolutely Johnny. This is much better than their stand alone string trimmer and I could definitely see purchasing one.

That's great Peter. I was looking at all of the attachments as well. Very similar to Ego, but a bit lighter. It's a good option for sure.
You can get a full range of attachments including brush and cultivator. Batteries are half the size of the EGO for the same power output.

Try Makita and Milwaukee
U cant beat the 325 ilk imo it's a beast
I did like it.

No sir. We just demoed this equipment for a few days. We just posted a video on the stuff we currently use. I agree about the Ego battery problems.
@@QuietLawn yes I just watched it today actually! Good stuff.

You can Google your local Husqvarna dealer. They'll know all of those details. I'm not sure
What's your thought on curved vs straight stick edger?
Which has more power the ego power head or the 325i?
Battery life: you suggest the battery or the efficiency is better on the husky. That is comparing what battery to what battery? Thank you

I would say the ones supplied.

they have fans built into the battery so air moves in and out easier.
?is the moter in the handel or on the head.?
This is a rear motor model. I like them much better than the dedicated string trimmer with the motor in the head.

What ego trimmer do you use?
Check out our other videos. Ego Power Head system
getting 3 years out of a GEN 1 power head is a good deal considdering how cheap they are.
Absolutely. The tools themselves have been amazing.
The next couple generations of electric equipment will be a slug fest!
And we the consumers will benefit! Competition just makes companies push harder to MD better product.
I hope so. Great for us
