    This electric bike was already on my radar and watching your review made me finally buy it. EXCELLENT and very thorough review! I'm excited to get mine and start riding!

    I got mine a week ago and so far, I have put 25 miles on it (limited riding due to weather conditions) and I absolutely LOVE IT. Doesn't matter if I use the pedal assist or the throttle, this bad boy FLIES. It may only be 20 MPH max speed, but it feels fast on a bike. I'm extremely satisfied with this bike. I may have to look into getting another battery though because it doesn't seem like mine is holding a full charge. But nonetheless, it does what I need it to do.

    Thank you for this review! I bought this and I'm excited to receive it so much. I live in Missoula, MT and will be using this bike for my daily commute to work. What I really also like are the fat tires which make it easy to ride on snow as well! What I'm looking forward to is saving money from riding a bike to work instead of driving! I only want to use my car for recreational purposes.

    The battery meter or gauge behaves the same way as with the F1. Right bars drop very quickly in few minutes exactly as in this video.
    Weird but nothing to worry about because the remaining bars drop very slowly.

    Hey there, thank you for the review! I am considering buying this bike but am wondering if you could give me a sense of how bad an idea that might be for someone on the heavier side (~270 pounds)? Would mostly be using it to commute around my small city/college town, pick up groceries, maybe go for a ride in a local arboretum (on road). Thanks!

    • @scotthardesty
      @scotthardesty  6 місяців тому

      Considering I am 225 naked, then add clothes and camera equipment, that put me around 235-240lbs. I had no issues with this bike. Will hold up with that kind of weight for long haul? I'm not sure it would with that kind of weight.

    Good review. I finally decide to pull the trigger and order it in Canada. My main concern is that I don't have a garage and live on the fourth floor of an appartement building. I think the bike weight in about 60 pounds but can you tell me please, If I remove the battery before , how much weight do I remove ? Is it even worth it ? Thanks

    • @scotthardesty
      @scotthardesty  2 місяці тому

      Batteries this size weight about 6-8lbs. I don't have the bike anymore to actually weight it for you but I have reviewed enough of these that I feel my guess is pretty close.

    • @armagedon515
      @armagedon515 2 місяці тому

      @@scotthardesty Thanks. Yes it's about 8 pounds. The bike is way too heavy to climb stairs even without the battery. I gave up. So I can't see woman lifting this into their car trunk. Beside that, it is a very enjoyable and solid e-bike.

    Love the bike but that key location is awkward location for powering up the bike if making frequent stops. Seems like water / dirt on road would fly off front tire and eventually destroy key mechanism.

    I have an issue with the battery I think. The bike is brand new. I recharge the battery fully. After re-installation, the battery show fully charge on the display but after a minute or so of riding, I loose about 4 "energy bars" (~25%) in a shot. Have you experience anything like that ? Thanks.

    • @scotthardesty
      @scotthardesty  2 місяці тому

      I agree in the fact that you have a bad battery. I hope you can get it switched out.

      @@scotthardesty I found that the bike is IPX4 rated meaning that they are "water resistant", resistant to water splashes. They cannot be submerge of course so better keep it clear of water puddles.😀

    Thanks for the detailed review! I'm moving to a large city where I will use the commuter train regularly, and this looks like it's just the ticket to get to/from stations.
    Do you know if there is an option to use the handlebars essentially as a luggage handle so that the tires can be used to assist with transporting the bike while folded?

    • @scotthardesty
      @scotthardesty  9 місяців тому +1

      You can fold the bike without folding down the handlebars. I believe that would be the answer you were asking about.

    Does the screen have a way to show current or voltage or both? Do you have to leave the key in the bike when riding it? Any way to unlock it to use it as a class 3 bike?

    • @scotthardesty
      @scotthardesty  5 місяців тому

      All of those questions were actually answered in the video. 1. No, there is no way to see voltage. That was covered in cockpit operations. 2. Yes, you have to have the key in when riding it. I covered that when I talked about the battery. 3. No, you cannot unlock it to class 3 speeds.
