If you don’t ‘know’ cats, Jaq, that Rascal is a great and mellow example. He loves Harlow. And you can tell by his tail carried straight up and vertical!!! Also, head-bumping and rubbing are all signs of a wonderful kitty 🐱!

Gosh y’all… Subpar editing today! 😂 Forgot the audio during the driving time lapse, weird ending, no sign off, late upload. Sheesh! 🤦♀️ I’m just not with it, really do not feel well today. Perhaps the repercussions from our trip, but I am home and taking it easy! Anyways, sorry if the vlog seems “weird.” 😅 Regardless, we had a GREAT time with family! Rascal eventually warmed up to Harlow and Kilo remained hidden most of the weekend. Saw our fam, got our “cat fill” for the rest of the year and now we are happily back in Tampa Bay! 💜

Kitties will usually more likely come to you if you hold your hand out to them and softly coo at them or make kissy noises (: they appreciate calm and quiet! It's a much different body language than dogs which is why it can be hard for dog people to understand them. Rascal seemed very curious about Harlow though a little startled at times 🤣
Cats are the lazy person's dog. I don't have the energy to walk a dog, play with a dog, chase a dog. But I am single and get lonely so I have a cat. Easy to clean up after, she doesn't make messes, and she sleeps most of the time. Good for a cuddle, a reminder when I need to take my meds, and just plain sweet. I had to take her to the vet last week, she got really sick, and she was so patient, didn't hiss or hide.
Litter boxes, both for cats and rabbits (more so rabbits), are the biggest mess of all. Nasty job.
Rachel Martin I think of them as an introverts pet, because I love dogs but they’re too needy, I need space too, cats drop in to see you in small bits throughout the day.

I love my cats. We had 5 but one died a few weeks ago. They are all rescue kitties.

Just is amazing I have an amazing boyfriend too. He doesn't coddle me either and understands. It's truly amazing to feel that way. When we go out and I'm having issues with my vision or Ballance he offers his elbow and if I'm off balance he locks my arm to his body so I don't fall. He walks slower with me when I need it and has offered to help me recover from some of the surgeries I've had. It's amazing when you find that type of person. 🙂

I'm so glad you got to see family you don't get to see often! I laughed when I saw Harlow with the cat toys! It reminded me when my father-in-law's dog came to the house and was playing with our cat toys!

Cats are entirely different from dogs in temperament, personality, and behavior. Once you understand those things, there is no better companion than a cat. My two Siamese are beside me constantly. Nothing standoffish about them at all.

I used to be extremely allergic to cats, but after my roommate got one years ago I built up an immunity. 10+ years later I'm happily owned by 5 amazing rescue kitties and a self proclaimed cat lady haha 😻😻 Fun vlog!!
I just remembered the video in which a cat accidentally entered in your house and you were kinda freaking out! I was very afraid of cats when I was little but then I fell in love with them, they're wonderful ❤

Awesome video is it weird that during the time lapse of you guys going down the interstate I was expecting Judd to barge in with a mocking tone “time_lapse” 😂 I will never forget that, seeing Harlow play with the cat toys was funny and I don’t know if I said this before but Harlow has the best facial expressions I’ve ever seen on a dog. Judd, Jaquie, Harlow. I love you guys so much, you are so lucky to have such a great husband who understands you and who loves you no matter what
I feel bad too. I deliver food for a living but i can barely make it up high rises because i am out of breath but i am carrying a delivery bag up stairs too. Sometimes the stairs are steep. Lot of high rises in Tampa. It kills my arthritis. I have to take a week off work resting as I am dizzy and almost faint or my legs collapse under me.
I hate driving I-10. I think it needs to be expanded to 3 lane. I drive up us 19 to Tallahassee on my way to Pensacola and onto mobile when I visit my mom. a 12 hour drive with stops for me and my service dog from Tampa Bay.
According to HP tradition when you are given an article of clothing, yes even your dog brings a sock you are free-no longer a house slave says my dd-lol. Yes Judd and all of you are blessings. Glad you got to travel. Blessings

I live in Tallahassee!! I wish I would’ve gotten to meet you! And yes, I-10 is boring..not as bad when you’re going through the bayou in Louisiana heading to Texas. I remember living on the top floor of a 3 floor apartment building. With my chronic illnesses and zero elevator, I empathize and sympathize with you. Rascal is adorable!! He’s a beautiful red and white tabby. Hippo is being hilarious with the cat and the new space!! I wish I would’ve been able to meet you guys. I’ll be moving to Kansas City in about 3 months’. Funny thing? My husbands name is Steven!! I hope you guys have a good trip and when you head back to Tampa, your trip is safe. 💜

I often help take care of my brothers cat, definitely a typical cat but with a few dog-like qualities. She knows her name, and is super playful and enjoys attention when she isn’t napping. Generally though cat behavior is very different so if you go in thinking in terms of dog behavior, you’re not going to have the results you expect. If you’re looking for something more chill, cats are A+

I was just in Tallahassee twice in the past two weeks. We drove down from St. Louis to Miami for a cruise and Tallahassee was one of our overnight stops. We drove down the gulf side of Florida and weren't to far away from you on the way down and on the way back. Talk about a long trip. I don't think I'll ever do that again lol. I'm still recovering and dealing with pain. The trip was awesome because I was with my brother, sister and brother in law. We had a great time on the cruise. I will definitely fly if I ever go out of Miami again!

Wow, you are very brave and patient to go some place where there are so many stairs. I’d be like no. I’m a wheelchair user, so I have no choice in that matter. But just, no.🚫 I’m a 42 year old wheelchair user so there’s just some things I don’t even deal with anymore 😁. They’d have to come visit me. And bring their cats cause I ♥️ cats. My cats would not be on board with that.

I just remember walking my orange cat on a leash when I had to stay at a hotel 6 for about two weeks he’s literally just a rag doll and a dog some people are scared of cats and I was walking my baby cause he was getting bored and this one lady screamed she acted like I was walking a literal demon when he’s actually the sweetest baby he’s talkative but he is a good boy hell meow and that’s literally it
Hi um I'm thinking of buying mask to wear to school as most people love wearing strong sents and spray stuff constantly which I can not handle and they will do so even tho I ask politly not to. So I was wonder if you have any recomendations? I would be wearing it at school manily and whenever I'm taken to the city to avoid smoke. Thanks to anyone who responds in advance.

I was wondering - when did you decide to get Harlow and be a team? I have a special needs son who has cerebral palsy and seizures. I’ve been thinking about looking into a dog for him that could help with his balance, alert to seizures, and help with daily living skills but I don’t know when I should look into this or if I should wait. Curious to know your thoughts.
My husband knows my limitations, but as far as being with guests or family I am apparently not allowed to rest. Next weekend we are going to Myrtle Beach to visit his sister and husband. I'm a bit scared to go, but luckily it is just for one over night. I can't even get off the toilet myself. Mostly people visit us but my husband needs a break from doing everything.

I remember hearing a vet say that burping was a good sign because it makes the dog less prone to bloat. My Chinese Crested burps after eating, but it's cute when she does it.

Rachel Raybould “here, Kitty, Kitty” or calling their name works better. My cats come immediately (not to the word “come” though lol). My cats actually come a whole lot quicker than my service dog did, but my service dog had a much bigger body lol.
8:45 I had a well trained labrador for years before I got my first cat, and I had the same problem, the cat doesn't listen to anything you say. Not that they don't understand, but they just don't do it unless they want to. It felt so weird for a while because you thought your pets supposed to listen.
