When it comes to audio recording, it's important to record your tracks at an optimal level. Too loud, and you risk distortion; too quiet, and you might end up with a noisy recording. In today's video, I'll guide you through the factors involved in setting that perfect recording level. I'll also share my personal go-to level, ensuring you get the best recording right from the start.

Thumbs up! Can you please do a video on how to create a local Pro Tools session showing how to choose my session parameters like file type bit depth sample rate interleave file format and I/O settings. How to save my session on my external hard drive into a folder on my external hard drive. Thank you from a new Pro Tools user.

Hey, thanks for your comment, and I'll keep this in mind for a forthcoming video.
To give you a bit of guidance, if you're setting up a new session to record, I'd recommend the following settings:
      File Type: WAV
      Sample Rate: 48kHz
      Bit Depth: 24 bit
Also, check 'Interleaved', and use the location button at the bottom to select where you're saving the session to.
      I hope this helps!
