This was an epic race for the 100th year of LeMans. The adversity so many of the teams had to overcome, especially the Ferrari and Toyota LMDh teams. For Ferrari to win after not even being at LeMans with a prototype team in 50 years says a lot about their dedication. Funny that the only mention of the lone Corvette is that it won the GTE class, when it had the fastest q time of the class, and at one point was 2 laps down, then comes back to win. A shame they did not mention the garage 56 entry at all. A lot of fans loved that a NASCAR style Chevy Camaro was the garage 56 invite. They did very well, at one point running mid pack with the LMP2 cars and ahead of the entire GTE class. They pulled a Ford GT move and replaced their brakes, and then had a gearbox failure with less than 4 hours to go. They did finish though, being allowed by WEC to replace it so the car could continue to run. Since it was not in competition with anything else, no harm done in allowing that.
Yes definitely. Took 3/4 additional laps to sort the order. Fans were turning off. Plus need improved barriers. We can't loose so much time fixing barriers. Seems like more each year
