You can emote cancel the heavy btw, So for a combo it's highly recommended (if you also know where the hit starts for each heavy hit, believe it goes left side, right side, left side, so you can technically aim it for quicker hits) if using heavy that you slide in, heavy left, right, emote cancel, basic attackx2 and quick melee Also, due to a bug with spear heavies (don't know if it has been fixed yet), I would not recommend the goo gun because for some reason if there are a lot of obstacles in the way the heavy damage can sometimes just not happen. Like your spear hits a wall and a some goo and does no damage to the actual player
Be it as it may about original ideas, but I'm going to say, as much as 'Truce' is the father of all Heavy grenade launcher tips, you now are to the spear :D Other than the momentum preservation, ALL of the tips were new and things I would've not even dream in a million years!
Nah as an original spear main myself this video was Incomparable to other spear tip guides. This is such huge knowledge drops for spears so auto sub and like for the vid! Keep doing your thing bro!
Do u know the 1st swing actually dealt less damage than the 2nd & 3rd. So, hitting lights with the last 2 swings will not require a melee to get a kill. A tip of mine is to constantly swing during battle. Great vid btw!
Yo Zin, so glad you're back!! That gravity slide is so sick, awesome find!! Flash tip is cool, in testing I found you can just look upwards too during the flash and you'll still heavy attack forward. I saw some crazy tech in a video by another finals youtuber sharkball that is an absolute gamechanger - ua-cam.com/video/HdQpegKFXQs/v-deo.htmlsi=ksJ3xQXzyLCcuiSB He goes through a few neat things over the 3 part series but the biggest is emote canceling - you can actually cancel the heavy animation at any point by bringing up the emote wheel. If you do it during the first or second swing it locks you out of some actions for a second but you can still slide and quick melee + move around as normal, as well as charge&slam! If you cancel during the 3rd swing though (even at the very start) you are fully actionable and can sprint and do light attacks straight out of it! I love hook for flamethrower and sledge but since charge&slam gives you the destruction capability you're missing, extra mobility and synergizes so well with canceling I reckon it's the best pair for the spear, especially since I find hooked enemies often just immediately move out of range Additional tip of you're not going to watch the source video but have read this far: if you make the emote whole wheel gestures only you won't risk accidentally emoting when canceling your heavy ❤

The emote cancel no longer works as it makes you wait for the of the heavy attack before you can strike again.
