- A great weekend out to some of our favourite weekend places near Kitimat ! Not much luck catching any crabs or getting any halibut but a few prawns made us smile!
We met some new boaters, Rob and Nicole and her uncle Neil 🍤🦐, and enjoyed having a nice steak dinner with them on the dock at Bishop Bay. A fun hot tub always feels good as well! A fire in the evening made things so nice too!

At the 7:10 mark I see that you have Mustang inflatable life vests. ... I used mine when ever I left my 4588 in the row boat or the Bullfrog. Taking pooch ashore...Mustang was always worn.
Yes we do! We love them. Nice and light too. Not big and bulky 👍
When we had our camp in kitsaway there was a spot that we caught these rather large crabs that looked like king crabs
And last time at bishop bay the tub was just snider block house with a few windows
Yes King Crabs are around Kitseway! The hot springs has changed so much. A nice wooden boardwalk now the tub is open and nice !

I have a lot of yellow cedar to mill the first 2 days there, for my sister's memorial bench, so I wanna get that out of the way before I take a run to Kitimat

@@MVSKOOKUM1 Food from heaven, love all seafood with scallops at the top. Like nothing better as a snack ( when she's not here ) as scallops fried in butter on toasted sunflower and poppy seed bread. Just cant beat it.

I'm very envious of the kayak! I'd like to get one for our trip this summer. I'd like to be able to take Kestrel ashore on one. She loves the dinghy and we have a new to us Polaris RIB. We are circumnavigating Vancouver Island. Is your kayak a folding inflatable?
Our Kayak is an Advanced Elements Convertible tandem inflatable. We love it so much. Our last one lasted us 10 years. Very steady in the water. Perfect for taking your pets to shore. Thanks for watching our videos.

Oh it’s an Advanced Elements Tandum kayak. It’s amazing. Our last one we had for like 10 years. It’s so stable too! We were rough on the last one. Paddle up currents and small rivers and in shallows lol
