Because, by giving him the chance to act in their movies, they have only improved the quality of their own movies. If Balachander didn't, somebody else would have. I, personally, like Rajini's acting and mannerisms better. But, when you look at the sheer talent, nobody can beat Kamal. He knows how to act, how to dance, how to fight, how to sing, how to write and how to direct a movie. He keeps himself good and has a good physique. Nobody will ever complain for seeing Kamal doing the lead role in a movie. Because, it will be very clear that the guy deserves it. He is also good in spotting other good talents. Apart from all these, I also know that he is a good human being who feels for even the lower level technicians who works with him.
