Please show us how to terminate the fibre optics cable...
What's the maximum channels the fibre switch can have...
The fibre optic cable has multiple cables...will they require independent switches since the indoor cable has only one SFP port?

Hi, here's a video on how to terminate fiber optic cables with SC connectors: ua-cam.com/video/gyhVTg6gE20/v-deo.html
The maximum number of channels a fiber switch can support depends on its specific design and capabilities, particularly the number of SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) ports it has. If a fiber optic cable has multiple cores, each core can be connected to a different SFP port on the same switch. Alternatively, if the number of cores exceeds the number of SFP ports available on a single switch, you may need additional switches to handle all connections.
If the indoor setup has a cable with only one SFP port, it means you can connect only one fiber optic channel to this particular device. However, there are ways to manage multiple connections:
      1. Fiber Optic Patch Panels:
Use a fiber optic patch panel to distribute the multiple fiber strands from the outdoor cable to multiple indoor devices.
This panel can connect multiple fiber cores from a single cable to multiple SFP ports on one or more switches.
      2. Aggregation Switches:
If you need to connect multiple fiber cores into a network with limited SFP ports, consider using an aggregation switch. This switch consolidates multiple lower-bandwidth connections into a higher-bandwidth link that connects to a core switch with higher capacity.

Many older surveillance systems are already installed using coaxial cables. For budget-conscious projects or those where high-resolution imaging is not critical, analog systems can be a more cost-effective solution. Coaxial cables are known for their durability and reliability in transmitting video signals over long distances without significant loss of quality.
