great filming marc its totally amazing when your fully optical zooming in so close to any aircraft you film there no slight jerky shake of any thing at all of an image when your panning & tilting with the videohead its amazing marc what you use to do this with i think you said you use the panasonic HC x2000 cam so great to watch thou

Thanks ;No , I Still Use my SONY FDR AX-1 , it is still better than the Panasonic HC X2000 .I use the Panasonic just for my touristics Videos.The Sony is on full zoom much sharper .It is not the cam but the tripod , I mentioned you before that is the key for such result.

yea you have told me marc before i thankyou for that i shouldnt worry to much about zooming in tight footage to much its not the answer in filming aircraft ive think ive done really well in last years airshows the first time useing this set up videohead tripod use ETC it comes with more practice be ready when the fast aircraft comes in tight over the runway crowd line closer footage and i dont want in post editing to make this look better the skill in panning and tilting with the video head natural as it is. Funny enough ive joined a remote control aircraft club now filming there stuff that will give me practice more those planes move around fast first airshow this year 2023 year RAF Abingdon show take care mate

Officially I don't know yet but if it is like on the other BAF Days then the planes will arrive on Thursday and Friday. So on the spotters day on Friday 8/09 you will see the most coming .
