Dear friends, welcome to our new video!
As a youngster I lived but a few hundred yards from the old Athens airport and we used to ride our bikes down to the edge of the runway and watch tandem F-4 takeoffs. The shear noise, smells and sights were all brought back watching the Greek F-4s. Great job FRA!

One of the easiest and quickest likes I've given. This is the most amazing footage of Phantoms I've seen and it's my all time favorite. Shout out to the Greeks for keeping them and flying them amazingly well. ❤

During the War Aussies fought alongside the Greeks and we got to know each other very well. The Greek population went through horrendous reprisals for helping the Aussies.
So the Greeks would ask a Digger do you think Australia would be a good place to go to?
The reply was YES youd be welcome we give everyone a "fair go".
So they all came to Australia. Melbourne had the most Greeks of any city apart from Athens.
Such a strong bond to this day.

When I was a kid, (an era without YT, without Internet -just a couple of terrestrial TV channels), I used to follow all documentaries for weeks in a hope to see some fighter jets. I am really grateful to discover this channel. Many thanks!

This was always one of the best aviation channels on UA-cam, but these air-to-airs takes it to a whole new level. I'm impressed the fast jets managed to fly slow enough to keep formation with the Skyvan 😂
