There was a second "Movie Edition" Ninja Falcon Megazord figure that didn't transform except for the Falconzord being removable. It had a big version of the App Zord's sword and an added slot in the ape hand to hold it. But it was an 8 inch figure rather than a normal Zord set.

I found my ninja megazord at TRU in Silverdale, WA at 1030 am 10/14/16. They had three when I left. No guarantee they are still there but just helping anyone in WA that is following you Bruno.

I honestly enjoyed your review. This was my favorite mech, both in the whole Powee Rangers and Super Zentai meta franchise. IMHO The one with the most, if not the best, articulation is the super minipla version. Granted, you have to build it first and paint it a bit, but its's highly articulated, compared to these. Really hard to find too.
Great review Bruno. I found this guy at TRU today - man it is just beautiful! I dare say possibly the best Legacy Megazord we've gotten. I'm so spoiled with the accuracy, lack of stickers and the new articulation we've gotten since Dragonzord, that the Legacy Dino Megazord now seems like the odd one out.
Now if only someone would be crazy enough to design and 3D print adapters to let the Falconzord attach to the OTHER Legacy Megazords... O_O
Bruno, What are your thoughts on Bandai's newly revealed Soul of Chogokin Dino Megazord? I know its not released yet, but would still love to hear your thoughts on it. Do you think this is the start of a long line of Megazords in the SOC line?
The doll stand is a really good idea. Weeks ago, I got the 16" Legendary Voltron figure from Voltron Legendary Defender. If you stand him up straight, he's gonna fall backwards. The stand should balance him out and make it so I can get some better poses out of him.
There was a movie edition Ninja Falcon Megazord that had a sword. It was a non transforming 9 inch chrome painted that was bundled with a big silver plastic molded version of the Red Apes sword, it also had fist punching action feature! That's probably the closest to a Movie Megazord you'll get for display reasons but the Legacy Ninja Megazord is the BEST version period

The Shogunzords were my favorite Season 3 zords. Shame Bandai decided to move to Zeo before we could get it which to me is funny cause they milked MMPR hard so why not give us a Legacy Shogun Megazord? Oh well, I got the Ninjazords and coins so I can live with it.
Ultra Instinct Goku Black we never got Zeo zords either. Ninja Megazord and Thunder Megazord didn't sell well and sat on shelves and then they lost the contract to Hasbro.

I think another reason why people thought ninja megazord had a sword was because ninja megazord had one of those non combining figures branded in the movie packaging that came with a falconzord that was also smaller and a enlarged ape zord sword. And since the covers for the heads didn't come off as far as I'm aware they made the ape head cover able to hold the sword. That and the movie branded packaging for the toys is likely why people misremember the canon ninja megazord.
Rita is Rito's sister of course. I loved the 1995 version as a kid and I think they did an amazing job on the legacy version. Thanks for the videos!

Right. People are confusing the packaging. There is a Bandai Japan Kakuranger version, then the US version a year later (same mold, different stickers on the leg, few other minor differences), the McD toys (which did not transform), the smaller version with falcon and punching fist action which also did not transform, and the Legacy version (and bootlegs). Never was there a new mold for the movie, and never did the DX version come with a sword or use one on TV. The movie version used the Shogun's sword. The version with the punching fists did have a sword, which was not screen accurate.
Seeing how much articulation this has, I'm excited for a Legacy Omega Megazord, but who knows when they'll make that :/

Bruno, was it just a happy coincidence that the Kakuranger mecha more-or-less matched the colors of the Zyuranger suits (minus the crane of course) and that they had an extra mecha that matched Kibaranger's color scheme? In hindsight I'm just amazed that they were able to keep using the Zyuranger suits for as long as they did.
I need help finding a crane zord for my 95 version on the ninja megazord
I feel like this should be a series comparing sentai and power rangers side by side like megazords and figures and more. I'm just giving ideas out there.
I thought the action feature version that doesn't transform (it just has punching action) had a sword? I'm probably remembering it wrong though...

I don't remember any version of the Ninja Megazord having a sword. There was a Power Rangers movie scrapbook I had in elementary school and it showed a Megazord with a sword, but the funny thing was that it was the Shogun Megazord. How'd that happen when the movie gave no hint of a second Megazord is somethimg I'll never know.
How funny, I was JUST thinking of that book a little while ago! I saw it at TRU before the movie came out. Maybe they made the book before the movie art was done? (I didn't buy it, I'd like to see it again). We uploaded a Titano Charge review recently where I also showed other versions of Zords, one of which is the Ninja Megazord that actually had a sword (but not movie or show accurate).
Maybe. But why show the Shogun Megazord and not the movie Ninja Megazord? But it looked neat glossed out and with that flaming sword for that battle at night.
You know what surprises me the most? Is that the sword never came with the toy for the mighty morphin power rangers the movie even though it was part of the movie.
Out of all the Legacy Zord releases thus far, I think this was the one we most needed. Because YE HAIRY FLIPPING GODS the original Crane Ninjazord is ridiculously rare on the secondary market on its own, making for a lot of headless Ninja Megazords.
Speaking of the Crane, have you done a direct size comparison of Original and Legacy?

There was a 2 pack for the movie that did have a sword and the Falcon Zord but it didn’t use a sword in the show.

Almost totally positive you can cancel with Amazon (and they don't charge until they ship) should you find one at TRU. I've done that before, a few years ago.
MMPRtoys Yead I did that myself not long ago with my order of the new legacy collection figures, but since I live in Australia, I had to have them shipped to an address in Oregon and from there to my home address which costs extra on shipping, but it did get them here sooner

I don't have the falcon zord but I would still love to get the ninja megazord by itself due to it's zord builder functionality it may not have leg ports but I'm perfectly fine with it and can't imagine what they will do for the shogun megazord this year
You were dead on about buying the Falcon Zord. I picked mine up a week ago. They're sold out in the stores now and online. The Thunder Megazord is sold out online and it probably will be in stores as well. Glad I subbed to this channel. :D
Thanks for subbing! :) Thunder Megazord came out last February, I believe. It feels like yesterday but I'm positive it's been that long... I'm sure they'll try to restock it for the holidays, but it's going to get harder to find in the next few months. Black & Gold Titanus will be coming out, and retailers will need that shelf space. Thunder Megazord is probably going to be horribly expensive from 3rd party sellers. I'd better decide if I need another....
Ninja Megazord is the most powerful Megazord the Rangers ever had. The legacy set is the most upscale deluxe version very show accurate
Shogun would make sense to be next. That is what I assumed would be next too.
We had the ninja megazord back in the day. We lost the crane zord. We never did find it. My dad was putting in a kitchen counter it was probably sealed inside it.
I'll be picking one of these up soon while they are at the toys r us in oklahoma city off of 240. they have the communicator too, and this really sick season one red Ranger the Rex replica helmet. it is so awesome. they only have one legacy thunderzord left there too. I got the 2nd to last one. it is awesome
I cannot wait to get my hands on the Legacy Ninja Megazord it has always to this day been my favorite of the MMPR zords besides the original Dinozords. Plus this is a lot cheaper than both the Legacy Megazord and the Thunder Megazord which I love. The answer to the question is Rita is Rito's Sister

I know this is from 3 years ago, but I have a question on the original. Is there a difference between the 1995 Ninja Magazord in the green packaging and the one released in the Movie Edition packaging? I have the green package versions of this and the Falcon Zord from when I was a kid.
he did have a sword in the 1995 movie which actually looked like the shogun megazords sword from the show
4:39 as stated in *THIS* video :) It actually was the Shogun Megazord's sword. Never in Kakuranger. Never on TV. Never in toy form, other than the one you saw in "EPIC Titano Charge Battle & Review" which of course was not movie accurate either, and the mold of the Ninja Megazord was still molded after the TV version.
Great stuff. Stopped at my local TRU today, but nothing yet. I have my preorder in at Amazon, but definitely looking to get it sooner. Looks so fantastic!

I like the legacy ninja megazord better because I really like the detail and articulation on the zords and I also like the articulated feet because they are passable And you can make him do the bruce Lee flying kick. And I also like the frog gotta love the frog and If you don't then he'll come after you. Don't mess with the kermit!
I actually like the pink and thunderbolts. But the newer one definitely looks cooler in my opinion for me
on the whole sword thing i blame the movie for it since it was the first time i saw the ninja megazord
But the movie Zord was very much its own thing, and it was a short scene at the end of the movie. I'm shocked so many people remember the sword since it was destroyed within 2 seconds of premiering. Then there was an entire year of the show, where Ninja Megazord never once used a sword.
wow that art from the jello card looks GREAT! the only thing i dont like is where is the head? lol it looks very blured out. and also the bear head looks a tad bit too long for a bear but still Omg that art! so cool!
Are you watching on a tiny screen...? The head is where it should be, very visible, in scale with the show & movie. Looks far better than the one in the movie though.

i was today years old when i found out they made a remade the ninja megazord toy and i am so sad i missed it. resell price too much for me. i had both of these OG toys as a kid but lost them.

I edit them tightly so wherever you drop off, you're missing a bit of info! ;) Like I said at 4:37, they used the Shogun Megazord's sword in the movie for all of 3 seconds and it was destroyed. It's not show accurate, this isn't the movie megazord, and there's no reason for him to have a sword. But he can hold a sword with his left hand for anyone who wants to give him one.

I have the smaller Ninja Megafalconzord movie edition which had the sword. But that sword wasn't the one in the movie and the Megazord didn't separate into five zords. The Falconzord though could detach.
Don't miss our EPIC Titano Charge (previous) review! I went over that as well as several other Zords from that line. Loved those! Q-Rex is actually the same size as Titano! (I just saw that Ninja Megafalconzord on eBay. They were asking $425 for that! It was new in box... but... wow!)

So that 8 inch Ninja Megazord with the mini Falconzord that came with the sword does not count as the movie version?
I just don't know what would make it qualify as a movie version. It's
the exact same version from TV. I guess you could call it a movie
version if you like. The DX version (and legacy) also have a "Movie
Edition" box, but look at the two. There's a pretty enormous difference
between the TV suit, and CG movie model, right? There's just no
confusing the two. And the sword that comes with the toy isn't even the
one in the movie, which is of course Shogun Megazord's sword.

hey Bruno. I recently found and bought the time force megazord and its the Japanese version. I live in Canada so somethings either never made it to stores or I wasn't looking hard enough. so I was wondering if there's a difference between the American and Japanese time force megazord. I ask cause there was something advertised in the box but once I opened it I was disappointed it wasn't there, namely the blaster for the blue mode, but also little mini figures of each ranger that can pilot each zord. so if you get the chance please do a comparison thanks. oh and congrats on the new place
Does anyone else have an issue with the bear's left side not staying in place? It's annoying while transforming it or moving the wolf arm.

I swear I remember having a special "movie edition" of the Ninja Megazord. You couldn't separate the words except for the Falconzord. It was super shiny. Does anyone have any clue what I'm talking about?

Spring-Loaded Polygons try going to many different toy r us stores as you can. I went mine local toy r us (which is 8 mins away), they had 2 left. So I'm pretty sure they still have some but stock is low
