- For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed. Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. - Hebrews 12:11-14

I needed this I thank you Lord Jesus for bringing me here
I listened to Tim's sermon on assurance. I was so lifted. Then listened to this sermon and without hope. How can this be? I've read Bunyan's book every few years and wondered about the msn in the cage ang others who Vered off the narrow way. Now that l am learning these things in Tim's sermon, l gear l did vere off the path and have sold my birthright and can't return.
May the Lord Jesus Christ intercede for you to the father and restore the joy of your salvation and bless you with an abundance of assurance. You know in whom you have believed. Trust him. He will not let you out of his hand. Try as you may, you are a slave to Christ Jesus.
The devil is a liar. As long as you have breath, return. God does not wish that any should perish.
@robertlmartin2051I'm worried to.
This is me. The last 9 months of trying desperately to believe in Jesus have convinced me I’m screwed
I'm the same, it's a lie there's hope
we're looking at our ability to believe look to christ I'm stuck just like you. God will not abandon you
Attitude is paramount in commitment. That is why repentence is commanded us in our choice to covenant with God as to His Word of who Christ really is. Luke 13:3&5, Roman's 10:9-10. Then that gifted faith and grace go with us in God's continued workmanship upon us. Ephesians 2:10. Learned in the abiding relationship in Christ, John 15:1-8. Know the Father and Christ His Son. Not only know about which is only religion. John 17:3.
Then the command that is ours to be obedient with is Matthew 28:18-20.... " make disciples of all nations " - ( matheteusate ta ethne in the original Greek text.) Demonstrated by Christ in the gospel narratives of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The genius of His strategy found in John 3:22.
